**A Test Drive with the Audi Urus**
As I stood beside the Audi Urus, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity about this vehicle. With its unique design and advanced technology features, I was eager to put it through its paces and see how it performed on the roads. The owner of the car, who kindly allowed me to take it for a spin, explained that we were headed out to drive down some challenging terrain, including a steep hill that would test the car's capabilities.
We set off with a sense of anticipation, eager to experience the Urus in action. As we climbed up the hill, I was struck by its unique suspension system, which was designed to provide a smooth ride even on the most demanding terrain. The owner pointed out that this system also allowed for automatic lowering at speed, which added to the car's agility and maneuverability. We eventually reached the top of the hill, where we took in the breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay.
As we began our descent down the steep hill, I was impressed by the Urus's ability to navigate even the most challenging terrain with ease. The car's advanced technology features, including its haptic touch screen and adaptive cruise control, worked seamlessly together to provide a smooth and comfortable ride. We even encountered some bubble-like formations that formed as we drove down the hill, which added to the excitement of the experience.
After completing our thrilling descent, we continued on into Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The owner pointed out various features of the car, including its steering wheel paddles and door handles, which provided an unusual but convenient way to interact with the vehicle. We eventually arrived at Pier 35, where we could see a variety of boats docked and bustling with activity.
As I took in the sights and sounds of Fisherman's Wharf, I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for the Audi Urus. This car was truly a unique proposition, combining advanced technology features with a rugged and practical design that made it well-suited to tackling challenging terrain. While it may not tick every box on my wish list, I was impressed by its capabilities and enjoyed driving it immensely.
**The Urus's Advanced Technology Features**
One of the standout features of the Audi Urus is its advanced technology system, which includes a haptic touch screen that provides a unique tactile experience when interacting with the car. While this feature may be useful for some users, I found it to be a bit fussy and difficult to use at times. However, other features such as the adaptive cruise control and shift paddles on the steering wheel were truly excellent and provided an impressive level of convenience and functionality.
The owner also pointed out the car's innovative door handles, which featured small electronic releases that allowed them to open with a gentle touch. These handles added a unique twist to the traditional door-opening mechanism and provided a convenient way to access the vehicle.
As I explored the interior of the Urus, I was struck by its sleek and modern design, which included features such as white-spoke speaker grilles and a sophisticated instrument cluster. While not every aspect of the car's design resonated with me, I was impressed by its overall quality and attention to detail.
**The Urus in Action**
As we set off on our drive through San Francisco, I was eager to see the Urus in action. The owner expertly navigated the car through the city streets, pointing out various features and capabilities along the way. We encountered a range of different driving conditions, from smooth asphalt roads to rougher terrain, which allowed me to experience the car's versatility and agility.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Urus was its ability to tackle challenging terrain with ease. The car's advanced suspension system and advanced technology features made it feel like a completely different vehicle on the road, providing a smooth and comfortable ride even on the most demanding surfaces.
As we continued our drive through Fisherman's Wharf, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and appreciation for the Audi Urus. This car was truly a unique proposition, combining advanced technology features with a rugged and practical design that made it well-suited to tackling challenging terrain.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys i'm schmee hello and welcome back to the channel where you join me this afternoon at gmp cars where behind me we've got the likes of the novitec 812 and lago a ferrari pista pilate and the car we're going to be looking at today the mansouri urus so i've been invited down by the owner russian07 am to check out this car and take it for a drive and this has mansori's full wide body package it's got the new exhaust system and it is also a one of one i'm going to show you that very quickly right now it is the mansory beastie the one of one we're going to be taking this then for a drive from here just north of san francisco in towards downtown that means a bit of a sightseeing tour as well taking it across the golden gate bridge and in through the city so let's get a feel then for what this is like the one of one manceri beastie based on the lamborghini urus i'm going to take you through the full package when we're actually beside the golden gate bridge we should have a lovely sunset this afternoon but basically we've got the full chopped carbon fibre the red that you can see inside the red flakes the completely new package the lower splitter all of these new add-on parts it's running on forgiato wheels you can see like i mentioned the beastie one of one badge that's worn on the flanks carving mirrors carbon spoiler at the rear the aggression to this diffuser and just check out that exhaust system what a style of that now i did experience the mansory venatus on which this is based when i visited the hq of mansuri not all that long ago but this was put together here at gmp cars in next to no time to get the car ready for car week so it was completed literally a few days before i am filming this video having been on display and obviously being here we've also been taking a look at that which is just mega so is this going to live up to it that's what we're going to be finding out let's come straight around then get it started up so we can take this car out onto the roads to get down towards san francisco time is running away from us but this is a car that i would very much like to experience and drive again to see well when when's the time going to come that a lamborghini is right for me should it be an urus let's get this started up and find out what this is like take a listen oh yes so the engine is warm you've got the toggle here to go through the different modes coarser is basically where everything starts to get a significant amount louder so we're probably going to have it in that air conditioning is blowing strong obviously because it's very hot outside today yeah that's only a few thousand rpm so i think this is going to be quite fun a sightseeing tour the golden gate bridge in mansouri urus we got a nice alcantara steering wheel as well lots to learn i'll show you in more detail when we get along the way for now let's hit the roads and enjoy this car i'm not actually sure how low this car is but i'm being very careful of the front end regardless that's the parking sensors basically saying that they are seeing the floor and they're going off but we are saying farewell now to gmp cars it's been a great day now it's time though to experience this the mansoori urus of course they make changes to just about everything the interior of this car is still largely standard which is a pretty good place to be you've got this haptic touch screen for your climate control we've got cooled seats turned on at the moment pretty compulsory in today's weather the main nav screen as well then you have your digital virtual cockpit display as well which you can change and have different things showing you've got a head-up display very nice steering wheel basically the urus is kind of the unusual lamborghini in that it's really practical usable sensible and that comes obviously as being part of audi and the volkswagen group and all of that side of things driving along like this though i got it back in strada strada being the normal road mode and at the moment it is pretty chilled out um it does seem to see the ground quite often though parking sensors whenever you have a small dip are always going off but you've got a bit of noise in the background otherwise it just feels like the normal factory car the stock car everything's working but when you turn it up with the uh anima toggle here so this is the tamburo they call it where you've got your drive set i find it a bit difficult here you've got ego mode and your configurable modes here is where you have your main driving mode so for example we go one more into corsa this is where everything dials up and gets significantly noisier if we drop down some gears you can just hear more of the bubble in the background so we are going to join the highway that means we'll get one nice acceleration before we get on a little bit further towards the golden gate bridge and i think this is the first time i've filmed driving across the golden gate bridge despite having done it a couple of times on this trip so far you can hear those yeah so this exhaust system was literally fitted the day before the show i think this is gonna be fun on to the 101 we go with plenty of sound along the way unfortunately we don't have a completely clear one i'll tell you what though the suspension gets a lot further you can feel that so obviously the car from mansouri has lowering springs has new wheels these are different wheels to the mansory normal package but oh yeah it's the twin turbo v8 650 horsepower 850 newton meters of torque it sounds cool and here it is we are arriving then towards the golden gate bridge the first bit of sightseeing of the evening and we have found a very lovely photo spot actually just kind of at this end of it at the foot of it at the scent and from there i'm going to show you around the urus in a very scenic location um so far though just cruising along i have to say it's doing a pretty good job it makes a huge difference in which driving mode you're in how much noise it makes so in strada it's really quiet and the eight speed auto just kind of does its thing in um corsa you get a lot more noise and you get a lot more of that as well the bangs and yes it does sound like some of it comes through the speakers as well which is strange but that's a cool view isn't it down here at the base of the golden gate bridge iconic landmark what a place what a lovely evening as you probably know it is normally foggy here to be here when it's completely clear like this and when you can see the entire city over in the background it's definitely quite an unusual thing made it then to the viewpoint and what a view it is the city of san francisco over there in the background where we're going to be heading next and of course the golden gate bridge the ginormous bridge positioned right there but let's take a quick look then around this in a touch more detail with the low sun setting on it now look at the forged carbon the chopped up carbon that you have for the bonnet for the bumper piece all of the lower sections it all matches it all comes together they've made that same design and style of carbon fiber throughout the entirety of the car which of course contrasts against the strong flat red paint work for the rest of the body you've got red touches for the calipers for the centers of the wheels as well but all of this the aggression at the front it maintains that lamborghini style those almost white spokes the added parts around the intakes the cooling you have at the front those end plates to the front splitter it's extended it's lower than standard normally it would finish just about here of course in this case you've got the lower sections but still around the front with all the radar sensors the cameras the controls the detectors the various technology bits but these louvers it's all very sharp very aggressive for example here the openings over the side fenders this is the wide body you can see it's substantially wider than the standard car at least a couple of centimeters an inch and a half or so maybe on each side of the car you've got the new lower side skirts as well that finish off going from the front fenders all the way through to the rear the multi-part piece now one cool thing about the urus is that you have these almost electronic door handles you also have pillar store windows which is unusual on an suv normally you would have a pillar all the way around the glass just the glass opening itself um what else can i tell you about the exterior of the car well let's come around towards the rear you've got the spoiler up here on the very top you've also got the lip spoiler on the rear deck lid you've got the mansory badging that runs across between the tail lights 3d shapes and textures to the tail lights that the urus carries then down at the back the diffuser and the exhaust system you've got the fins added aggression all the forged carbon again those y shapes you can see coming through and of course that exhaust system the triangular i'm not quite sure how best to describe well it's almost a y in itself isn't it with the three-pointed kind of star effect that you have from the mansory exhaust different pipes going on this is obviously the tailpipe finisher that you have over the very back of that a random cool thing for you by the way is that this is a daily car there's a child seat in the back of it because it is used as a daily driver despite being the mansory full hardcore package so what else can i show you then well the interior loaded with tech and equipment as you know the buttons the controls all the sensors the heated memory electric seats that you have ventilated everything that you could want your seat controls here the power fold uh power rear tailgate that you've got let's have a quick look at the engine bay pop open this come around and have a quick look at what we've got up here four liter twin turbo v8 if i can find the catch there we go lift that up can't really see too much still like traditional lamborghinis though you've got the uh cylinder designation plaque there that shows you the firing order but basically one big cover that kind of hides anything from sight you can see though the carbon fiber underneath the bonnet um all the raw carbon on the underside as well you have from the different layers just close this back down give it a proper close make sure it closes back down there we go the badge at the front also replaced by the mansory logo so that's pretty much it for a whiz around the mansory urus we should head over the bridge of that away to go drive and get a better feel for what it's like over in the city one of the fun things about the urus is that when you do actually drive it more aggressively it's surprisingly good for such a shape and size of car in terms of how flat it sits how it drives because here we've got some lovely bumps on the ground oh we're gonna have a little bridge i think i know what that means that means windows down for a moment car into a neutral both paddles there we go per paddle back into gear and it is very windy right now okay it's very very windy but you get the point this car makes a pretty good sound in fact the euros make some pretty good sound to begin with of course in this case it's now got a louder exhaust than standard but things like the steering is you notice you don't need to take your hands off the wheel it's kind of set up pretty much keeping them in place and everybody is like what is that car yep everybody we had that down at the bottom as well a few people came over and they're just asking about it because it's interesting right even a lamborghini urus is rare and a lamborghini euros that looks like this is like what is that what car am i looking at so we're about to have the crossing over the bridge just have a look at this view in front of us coming down towards san francisco across the bay the city by the bay quite literally oh that's kind of cool the back of the trailer there this then is the golden gate bridge to be completely honest it's basically a straight road but it's a straight road which is kind of cool you've got one very tall tower in front of us the other going back behind and we're cruising very high over the bay um which of course the big ships go under you've got alcatraz out there the prison the famous prison out in the middle of the bay um i've never actually been there been across the bridge a few times um heading over towards the main city i have a big park just as you come over to this side but we're probably about to plunge ourselves in towards the uh the clouds of fog but basically yeah this is kind of where the tourists walk on from it's quite a long walk actually to go all the way across it but coming from this end there's kind of a welcome center and things on that side i know a few things about being a tourist in san francisco but it's kind of cool to be arriving here in la laguna urus a mansouri urus this is where we start to go up the hill then you literally come into town on lombard street and i'm slightly anxious for some of these dips i mean if i was in a supercar right now i'd be very worried this should be okay you would think yeah we're good we can use some of that torque to get up the hill this would be manual gearbox hell this would be total disaster look at the steepness of this stop sign but how san francisco is this wow the hills are insane okay uh we can go look at this look at like the dip you have to go through it feels like half the world has scraped on that and i'm kind of wondering what to do in fact maybe this is where we should put it in one of the off-road modes i don't know this is as off-road as we're going we've got saba terra and nevi the three different off-road modes that are basically available but that's more to do with traction than it is to do a gradient but nonetheless it does tell me this is 13 degrees we're currently going up oh it's turned off one of the systems we don't want that 12 degrees well this little information screen up here in fact i think you can bring it up here as well um a car display is it in earth i'm not entirely sure how to find it um but there is a display you can load with some more information look at this this is the top then of the famous lombard street the road that twists backwards and forwards let's pop it into corsa mode just because well yeah we're gonna go down here i'm amazed that there's no traffic jam look at that so it snakes backwards and forwards i'm still a little bit worried about the splitter but yeah i can officially say that i'm driving a mansory urus down here following a car that's come over from new york and what do i feel about this well we're using 10 kilowatts of power 100 meter meters of torque at the moment which is unusual given we're going downhill the steering is a funny one the steering feels really strange it's the dynamic steering and i felt this when i've driven the urus before it's just not fully connected it changes so much between the various driving modes that you lose a bit of connection with it imagine if you lived in one of these driveways there's a g63 there this would probably work fine we've got to get off over some pretty horrendous terrain and then yeah we just kind of snake our way down i've walked up here before climbed all the way to the top that was hard work very very very steep and in fact if you look back up to the right now all the way you can see just what this is like and we're coming down it's mad that this is actually a road it's just a public road you can just cruise down it like we are now and then when you get towards the bottom how many people are just standing here obviously taking photos enjoying being here there's a stop sign right at the very bottom and we're going to continue straight on down in towards the city stop and off we go trying to squeeze through this crowd of people to go down there through the crowds we go that feels so wrong well that's fun all the bubbles that you get going down the hill i mean this is just insanely steep oh we got here i don't know some different angles so you can see we're doing 12 degree 13 degree descent right now we've got the car on the lowest suspension mode you've got the suspension that can lift automatically lowers at speed this is fun how you just get those bubbles like break check oh that feels like the nose is in danger okay we can go we've made it we're good into the city we continue we've made our way down from the top to the bottom and now we're basically arriving at fisherman's wharf this whole area that you have around the seafront where the bay bridge is um so you have the whole series of piers there's a lot of entertainment and activities and things that happen well we were pier 35 this is where lots of boats are moored up um i'm not entirely sure if we can find somewhere to pull over or anything like that we're gonna have a look and see what we can find um but basically this whole area is where it kind of gets buzzing late at night and where lots of tourists are parked up then for a moment here in fisherman's wharf where it is very very lively outside but just quickly to show you a little bit more of this i know you've seen many of the different controls already but this is it's a system i can't decide if i like or not it's a haptic touch screen so you feel a pulse in the screen when you press a button but unless you look down you haven't got a clue what you're clicking because there's nowhere you know you don't have that physical feel of where different buttons are the tambourine i find really too fussy there are things about the interior of the urus that just i get it that it's great tech and and generally speaking but there are fiddly things to actually use the dashboard changes modes changes display you know depending which mode you're in sport going up there into corsa you can see how all of that changes and you've got adaptive cruise control you've got these very nice shift paddles actually on the back of the steering wheel as well those kind of things i really like i touched earlier um you can either flip that up by the way or just press it through depending what you prefer it's going to turn the car off i touched earlier on the door handles you give them that like small electronic release and then they open steering wheel lifts up so it's an unusual feeling having those rather than traditional kind of door handles that pull you feel it releasing mechanically the speaker grilles are very cool with the white spokes in them as well but all in all this car certainly quite something i've definitely enjoyed driving it the urus i think is an interesting proposition of course it was born originally if you go back way back they introduced the stoke concept that became the urus raised up on the suv platform shared of course with volkswagen and with audi and with a number of different models across the whole volkswagen group range the urus for me it didn't quite tick every box that i wanted it to tick i mean i get the point with manstory this is a complete statement this turns the car and it's a complete you know practical car that in this instance also looks ridiculously out there and cool which is what so many people are going for i think the sun has literally just about gone down here in fisherman's wall of san francisco but i have enjoyed driving this nonetheless so a big shout out to russian double 07 am for the opportunity to take the car out this evening to go for a drive with it to bring it here into san francisco anyway i'm gonna wrap things up there thank you very much for watching as always guys hope you've enjoyed this video and i'll see you again very very soon cheers youhi guys i'm schmee hello and welcome back dials up and gets significantly noisier if we drop down some gears you can just hear more of the bubble in the background so we are going to join the highway that means we'll get one nice acceleration course that exhaust system the triangular i'm not quite sure how best to describe well it's almost a y in itself isn't it with the three-pointed kind of star effect that you have from the mansory exhaust different pipes going on this is obviously the tailpipe finisher that you have over the very back of that a random cool thing for you by the way is that this is a daily car there's a child seat in the back of it because it is used as a daily driver despite being the mansory full hardcore package so what else can i show you then well the interior loaded with tech and equipment as you know the buttons the controls all the sensors the heated memory electric seats that you have ventilated everything that you could want your seat controls here the power fold uh power rear tailgate that you've got let's have a quick look at the engine bay pop open this come around and have a quick look at what we've got up here four liter twin turbo v8 if i can find the catch there we go lift that up can't really see too much still like traditional lamborghinis though you've got the uh cylinder designation plaque there that shows you the firing order but basically one big cover that kind of hides anything from sight you can see though the carbon fiber underneath the bonnet um all the raw carbon on the underside as well you have from the different layers just close this back down give it a proper close make sure it closes back down there we go the badge at the front also replaced by the mansory logo so that's pretty much it for a whiz around the mansory urus we should head over the tower in front of us the other going back behind and we're cruising very high over the bay um which of course the big ships go under you've got alcatraz out there the prison the famous prison out in the middle of the bay um i've never actually been there been across the bridge a few times um heading over towards the main city i have a big park just as you come over to this side but we're probably about to plunge ourselves in towards the uh the clouds of fog but basically yeah this is kind of where the tourists walk on from it's quite a long walk actually to go all the way across it but coming from this end there's kind of a welcome center and things on that side i know a few things about being a tourist in san francisco but it's kind of cool to be arriving here in la laguna urus a mansouri urus this is where we start to go up the hill then you literally come into town on lombard street and i'm slightly anxious for some of these dips i mean if i was in a supercar right now i'd be very worried this should be okay you would think yeah we're good we can use some of that torque to get up the hill this would be manual gearbox hell this would be total disaster look at the steepness of this stop sign but how san francisco is this wow the hills are insane okay uh we can go look at this look at like the dip you have to go through it feels like half the world has scraped on that and i'm kind of wondering what to do in fact maybe this is where we should put it in one of the off-road modes i don't know this is as off-road as we're going we've got saba terra and nevi the three different off-road modes that are basically available but that's more to do with traction than it is to do a gradient but nonetheless it does tell me this is 13 degrees we're currently going up oh it's turned off one of the systems we don't want that 12 degrees well this little information screen up here in fact i think you can bring it up here as well um a car display is it in earth i'm not entirely sure how to find it um but there is a display you can load with some more information look at this this is the top then of the famous lombard street the road that twists backwards and forwards let's pop it into corsa mode just because well yeah we're gonna go down here i'm amazed that there's no traffic jam look at that so it snakes backwards and forwards i'm still a little bit worried about the splitter but yeah i can officially say that i'm driving a mansory urus down here following a car that's come over from new york and what do i feel about this well we're using 10 kilowatts of power 100 meter meters of torque at the moment which is unusual given we're going downhill the steering is a funny one the steering feels really strange it's the dynamic steering and i felt this when i've driven the urus before it's just not fully connected it changes so much between the various driving modes that you lose a bit of connection with it imagine if you lived in one of these driveways there's a g63 there this would probably work fine we've got to get off over some pretty horrendous terrain and then yeah we just kind of snake our way down i've walked up here before climbed all the way to the top that was hard work very very very steep and in fact if you look back up to the right now all the way you can see just what this is like and we're coming down it's mad that this is actually a road it's just a public road you can just cruise down it like we are now and then when you get towards the bottom how many people are just standing here obviously taking photos enjoying being here there's a stop sign right at the very bottom and we're going to continue straight on down in towards the city stop and off we go trying to squeeze through this crowd of people to go down there through the crowds we go that feels so wrong well that's fun all the bubbles that you get going down the hill i mean this is just insanely steep oh we got here i don't know some different angles so you can see we're doing 12 degree 13 degree descent right now we've got the car on the lowest suspension mode you've got the suspension that can lift automatically lowers at speed this is fun how you just get those bubbles like break check oh that feels like the nose is in danger okay we can go we've made it we're good into the city we continue we've made our way down from the top to the bottom and now we're basically arriving at fisherman's wharf this whole area that you have around the seafront where the bay bridge is um so you have the whole series of piers there's a lot of entertainment and activities and things that happen well we were pier 35 this is where lots of boats are moored up um i'm not entirely sure if we can find somewhere to pull over or anything like that we're gonna have a look and see what we can find um but basically this whole area is where it kind of gets buzzing late at night and where lots of tourists are parked up then for a moment here in fisherman's wharf where it is very very lively outside but just quickly to show you a little bit more of this i know you've seen many of the different controls already but this is it's a system i can't decide if i like or not it's a haptic touch screen so you feel a pulse in the screen when you press a button but unless you look down you haven't got a clue what you're clicking because there's nowhere you know you don't have that physical feel of where different buttons are the tambourine i find really too fussy there are things about the interior of the urus that just i get it that it's great tech and and generally speaking but there are fiddly things to actually use the dashboard changes modes changes display you know depending which mode you're in sport going up there into corsa you can see how all of that changes and you've got adaptive cruise control you've got these very nice shift paddles actually on the back of the steering wheel as well those kind of things i really like i touched earlier um you can either flip that up by the way or just press it through depending what you prefer it's going to turn the car off i touched earlier on the door handles you give them that like small electronic release and then they open steering wheel lifts up so it's an unusual feeling having those rather than traditional kind of door handles that pull you feel it releasing mechanically the speaker grilles are very cool with the white spokes in them as well but all in all this car certainly quite something i've definitely enjoyed driving it the urus i think is an interesting proposition of course it was born originally if you go back way back they introduced the stoke concept that became the urus raised up on the suv platform shared of course with volkswagen and with audi and with a number of different models across the whole volkswagen group range the urus for me it didn't quite tick every box that i wanted it to tick i mean i get the point with manstory this is a complete statement this turns the car and it's a complete you know practical car that in this instance also looks ridiculously out there and cool which is what so many people are going for i think the sun has literally just about gone down here in fisherman's wall of san francisco but i have enjoyed driving this nonetheless so a big shout out to russian double 07 am for the opportunity to take the car out this evening to go for a drive with it to bring it here into san francisco anyway i'm gonna wrap things up there thank you very much for watching as always guys hope you've enjoyed this video and i'll see you again very very soon cheers you\n"
