of course you're probably gonna hear my dog he could be walking barking yelling who knows but we're here to talk about the new racing seat that i have purchased or my wife actually got me for christmas thank you wife these big boxes here are the racing frame so racing frame in this box and racing seat in this box so what i'm gonna do i'm gonna make you guys sit back and relax to get ready to race and i'll show you it when it's built and then i'll talk about it we'll go from there and we'll see where we're headed but we're back we have pretty much built the reason why i've separated the two halves again there's two little pieces that just go here to bolt them together but before i mount the steering wheel and everything i figured it would be easier to be able to move things around than it would be to have it all fixed and mounting up steering wheel and so on and so forth so quickly i would say that it's definitely a two-person job to mount the seat and it's only because there's a spring it's not heavy so there's no worry about weight or anything like that it's just there's a spring it's a real car seat kinda so basically you have a lever here and i'll demonstrate that in just a second but you gotta line it all up it's kind of a pain with one arm and then the other arm trying to allen key the big bolts in so that's one thing this also has the option to put your shifter mount on so if you have a shifter like a logitech g27 29 or 920s or whatever it is out there your your you know any brand technically will bolt on then you bolt it on here and now you have your shifter and if you're of course in europe i guess you could try and figure out a way for it to go on the other side maybe flip it i'm not sure uh but for us in north america we would have it on the right hand side then you have this piece here that you bolt on basically it's your top plate the top plate is made out of a plastic resin and this is where the steering wheel is going to bolt on now the only thing this thing's missing that i want is a drink holder okay now as for the pedal area so one cool thing about this it bolts onto the frame so it won't move and then you can actually lift it out put your piece on and bolt it in guys again sorry you're going to hear my dog we're in an area where it's really hard for me to record so and that's why i don't do a lot of it out here and of course audio audio is really really bad out here so then this lifts up if you can see it here on camera bolt your piece on swing it back down now your pedals are installed they're not going to move because it's bolted to the frame your pedals won't slide because it's bolted to the frame so again completely turning yourself and immersing yourself into a racing car setup so the reason why i left this like this for one let's just sit in the seat because everybody needs to see me sit in the seat yes i'm wearing flip-flops with socks leave me alone all right so on the bottom here we actually have a lever which you can move your seat back and forth just like a real car lock it in i'm locked in place now i'm in my car i'm racing i'm getting tired pull over pull a lever go to sleep it can actually go down further i'm hitting my other chair but anyway you get to drift it is like and feels solid all right guys about the seat and the comfort so honestly i'm sitting in this it's a seat that i would wish was actually in my 300s this seat is very form-fitting very supportive feels good it's not like you're going to move or fall out because this does not move of course my wife didn't buy me that one overall this is probably one of the best seats that i've ever sat in for racing or or just enjoying some video game or whatever the case is i could sit in this honestly it now adds a third seat to my game room it's in front of the big screen so i could actually sit here lie back do what i want and watch a movie but that's not what it's for there's a lot of sweat going on here we finally got this thing built the seat is amazing it's absolutely comfortable uh the shifter is in exactly the right spot the steering wheel is mounted the wires are all cleaned up and strapped to the pipes here with some zip ties as you've probably seen in my little rocket video there the foot pedals are bolted down and what's great about this is it just matched right up there's so many holes on this that it'll match up with pretty much almost any higher end or mid-range steering wheel or pedal set so that's really good to know so now we're going to just strap in here start playing get this wood your vest on of course because we're supposed to have done that video right so where we you know test the wuger and and see how cool it is with vr and stuff so we're just going to strap it oh
