gaming performance of uh this device in terms of specs it's a pretty powerful uh SmartPhone by Honor it's running on the uh Kiran 960 which is their fastest processor it's octo cord processor and uh it has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage the GPU is the Mali g71 so let's see how it does in gaming and we're going to play uh these games the model Combat X Modern Combat 5 Asal extreme Leo fortune and finally as FAL 8 uh so let's see how it does in uh gaming so this is mod coma X and as you can see it plays this one impressive without any issues and the screen quality is actually really good on this device it's a Quad HD screen that we are getting and as you can see in terms of colors the screen quality is very good let's continue so continuing so as you can see in terms of game play with this uh model Combat X no issues it's playing it fine so you will have a great experience playing this game so let's now move to some other the games because it's playing this one really well we'll also check the temperatures later on to see how it handles and as you can see lot of games in memory let's just remove everything so I've cleared everything and uh we have nothing now so let's now move to Leo's Fortune so this is Leo's Fortune and as expected it'll run this game very well but uh again though it's having just a single speaker the speaker quality is actually pretty good and it's actually pretty uh adequately loud and as you can see no issues with this game it's playing it really well as you can see yes so with the Casual games like these uh you shouldn't have any problems as you can see it's running it really really well so let me do one thing let me get out of this game now and let's now move to some really heavy games and see how it does so let's get out of this one also so this is Modern Combat 5 and let's see how it handles this one cont and as you can see it's really smooth in game play for this one you heard come on so as of now no issues with the uh Modern Combat 5 but I'm noticing that the handset is getting slightly warm near that dual camera lens we will uh check the temperatures after we've have finished this level got company keep on fire Chopper so as you can see it's handling this game without any issues I don't notice any lagginess whatsoever but we will check the temperatures because it's getting slightly warm so in terms of game play as you can see you have no issues and it's playing it fine oh it uh but uh let's uh check the temperatures now because it's almost 8 minutes since we were uh playing so let's just get out of this game now and uh let's look at the temperatures now let me just get out and as you can see the ambient temperature is about 28° here and here it is about 41.5 that I noticed on the screen the max yeah 41.6 is the max that we are seeing here on the screen and back this area is actually getting pretty warm so let's look at it and yes as you can see it's 42. uh3 uh is 42.9 almost 43° C that we are seeing near the camera lens if you go down it's about 43 still so this area around this fingerprint scanner and around this camera lens is uh touching about 43° C if you go down it's lowering to about 41° C so this area is actually getting pretty warm so let's continue let's just remove these games from memory and let's even push it more let's uh play this asphal extreme now so this is Asal extreme and let's see how it handles this one and I'm using the on screen steering so it's sort of similar to aspal 8 but uh it's in a different setting and uh it's a fun game I would say and for the most part as you can see it's running this game pretty well but yeah you I notice one or two frame drops here and there but as you can see it played it actually really really well let's look at the temperatures again now and here it is about 40° C it is 39.9 that's 40 let's look at the back this was not becoming very very hot which is surprising it's about 40 uh 41 41 .5 that you can see so with modern comback 5 it heated up a lot more that is interesting so this was asphal extrem but now let's move to asphal 8 and let's see how it handles because many of the other smartphones for example the Samsung Galaxy S8 and even the OnePlus 5 did lag quite a bit with asphal 8 on the highest setting so this is asphal 8 and I'm at the highest Graphics setting and I'm using the onc screen steering we'll also be checking the temperatures and surprisingly it's handling it fine I'm sort of surprised uh that it's handling this uh this well because it's at the highest graphic setting and guys do remember that this honor 8 Pro is having a Quad HD screen not a 1080p screen as you can see it's handling this Asal actually pretty well I'm goinging the drift and you can see the smoke from the tires let's do a take down again that was fine to be frank I thought it would lack quite a bit but as you can see I'm doing the drifts and the car is in complete control let's do a take down so as you can see it's playing this uh game that is asphal 8 even at the highest Graphics setting actually really well which is quite surprising the handset is getting uh bit warm and we will check the temperatures but overall as you can see even for this asphal 8 it is playing itth really well I don't have Boost so let's just uh uh check the temperatur now I'm going to lower the volume and let's check the temperatures now and uh it is about 40° C so yes it is becoming a bit hot but not as hot as earlier and here at the back it is about 41 uh that we are seeing with 41.3 touch so you could say 41.5 so surprise L this handset heated a lot more with Modern Combat 5 which was very surprising so yes this back is getting a bit warm uh but not that much hot that it is really uncomfortable to play it can touch about 43° C so what do I think about the gaming performance with this honor 8 Pro as you saw the gaming performance was actually really good and it played all the heavy games we threw at it without any issues and even Asphalt 8 at the highest setting played actually really well so in terms of gaming you'll have a great uh experience with this honor 8 and the good thing with this honor 8 Pro is that it has 128 GB of internal storage so that way you can load a lot of games on the same yes the back will get a bit warm this area because it is metal and we saw that it can touch up to 43° C we saw that temperature with the Modern Combat 5 so yes the back it'll get a little bit warm while you are doing heavy gaming but in terms of gameplay the gameplay experience was actually very good
