At least one of them is who plays one on TV - Welliver has been on your screens for more than 30 years playing serious roles with seriousness. Most recently, as a LAPD homicide detective in his title role as Bosch, which is a great show by the way. But it looks like he didn't get our production memo. I thought this was going to be some sort of crime fighter thing. It's a western. Bronco riders are from the West, you know. You've taken this method acting thing a little too far. Well, I'm wearing the hat right, but all I'm saying is Jay maybe next time, a little communication would be nice. Crazy? Where's the car? Hang on, folks! It's now time for a JL garage exclusive.

A City Fell Like Yourself: The New Ford Bronco Raptor

You might not be familiar with this vehicle. This is a new Bronco Raptor. I have a Bronco that you have - that came out six months ago. Yeah, that's the old Bronco. Now it had 35-inch tires right? This one has 37s and how many horsepower was yours? It's a 330 something. Yes, three. See, this is where Ford is trying to make us feel like we're racing. This new Bronco Raptor is capable of topping 100 miles per hour on just about any terrain. The Broncos got 418 horsepower with twin turbo 3L V6 engine and 45 pounds-feet of torque making it the beefy big brother to the standard Ford Broncos. And all starts at around $70,000. The engineering that really makes this stuff amazing is because you know, the smaller a gear is, the stronger it has to be. The bigger gear, the stronger we have four speeds, and those giant gears are strong but when you're putting this kind of torque through a transmission, and the gears are literally almost the size of a quarter, they've got to be incredibly tough and incredibly strong.

The Engineering that Makes it Amazing

This is one of the few SUVs where you can travel off-road at well over 100 miles per hour if you chose to. If there was a class for this, it's beautiful. I mean I love the Raptor trucks but this is a whole next-level thing. You want to take it for a ride? Can we? Yeah! Yeah! Sure! Like the color. Nice color, hop in. No, you're right, I'll drive it. So what inspired you to buy that six months old? It's nostalgia. Ford has been really good about that and that's from 2005 when I bought a Mustang GT right and saw an older model Bronco on the internet. I got the car and I have to say I love it! Because the new ones are basically just cars you can drive off-road, this feels like a car where you could drive it on the surface of the Moon and not have issues at all.

adjust yeah you don't feel anything no no it's pretty amazing can I tell you why you're my favorite kind of actor please because you're one of those actors oh there's that guy liking it I would see you in these little parts and like especially on Law and Order because I know when I watch Law and Order most people only get one shot it's playing the lawyer one time I'd see you you have like a mustache oh and then you be back with a beard because you're such a good actor they want to use you all the time but you couldn't look like yourself and I always go that that's the tightest guy that I like you know and then of course once BOS head I mean then you just became a huge star I understand you do Impressions too don't you did you ever do stand up no I never well one time I attempted it Tom Wilson uh you know Biff from Back to the Future great comic yeah he tried to get me to go up on stage and read Green Eggs and Ham as Christopher walking can you do Christopher Walker I tell you formula oh which I got when I was 14 that's funny but I drove that thing until I crashed into a Grove of pine trees one night uh uh driving around uh we used to play a thing my brothers and I called student driver where we would drive through the woods and turn the lights out yeah very smart yeah you know that's a classic example of the teenage brain isn't it yeah so we always an off-road guy I
