My Planner and Dollar Tree Haul: A Christmas Delight

As I stepped into my planner, I noticed something that made me think it was Christmas. The lights on the items seemed to resemble little Christmas trees, adding to the festive atmosphere of my planner. For my planner, I also picked up some candy - a rare sight at my Dollar Tree. Sometimes, the candy aisle is just not as stocked, and when I saw these Coca-Cola Bears, I was like, "Okay, I'm getting those because I love these." The Cherry ones are also a favorite of mine, but I won't lie; I'll eat all of these today and I will be so sick. The gummies always make me sick and nauseous, but I do it anyway. I just got some batteries, as I ran out. A subscriber had suggested alkaline batteries from me a couple of months ago when I asked about batteries. They work really well, and I've been getting these for a long time. I just got some Disney princess stickers. If you watch my video, you know why I've been hauling this stuff. Then, I saw new trays out today - they were gorgeous. They had Christmas trees in green and candy-themed ones like peppermint candies. They also had red and green trays that caught my eye. These little items are what really give a room a sweet touch without breaking the bank.

Coming down to the last couple of items, these were all for pocket letters. I saw some adorable erasers at the Dollar Tree. I love how many you get in this package, and the little gingerbread man is my favorite. Even Santa and the penguin are cute. You get 12 count mhm. So, I got this for pocket letters, and then these were also a great find - jingle gift tags from the Dollar Tree. If you can tell, they're gorgeous! The jingle sound effect makes them even more special. They had different styles, including ones that appealed to me most. Some of the tags were more cartoonish and kid-friendly, while others were more adult and sophisticated.

I've never picked up gift tags before, but I thought this would be great for pocket lettering. I could cut these up and organize them into a theme. For example, I could send someone all the deer-themed tags or just the ones with trees. The tags are incredibly gorgeous for the Dollar Tree - you get two sheets, and there's 40 count, which is amazing.

The final item that caught my eye was notepads from the Dollar Tree. As soon as I realized I wanted to incorporate notepads into my planner, I was thrilled when I saw these. The Dollar Tree has always had some cute notepads for me, but this trip was something special. They were gorgeous, and I couldn't wait to use them in my planner.

My Happy Planner: A Personal Touch

I don't really have much Washi tape from Michaels, so it's probably the Washi that caught my eye. I love being organized and adding personal touches to my planner, but it's not always easy finding what I need at a reasonable price. The Dollar Tree has been saving me on many occasions, including this one.

this beauty unfortunately I was not educated enough to know that they have these at Hobby Lobby even though Hobby Lobby is like one of my favorite stores and I purchased this off of Amazon and combined with shipping it was like $30 whereas these are like $24.99 at Hobby Lobby or even Michaels and you can use their 40% off coupon and basically get it for $15 and you you don't have to wait for it to get to so unfortunately I pay 30 do not make the same mistake as I did unless you don't have a Hobby Lobby near you or a Michael's near you or your stores don't have these but I saw mine they did some of them have like different covers so they have beautiful covers this is the one that I chose I really loved the white and gold it kind of really reminded me of Kate Spade so it's one of my favorite designers even though I have nothing I have zero from K's Bay but but I I daydream about it all the time a lot of this stuff is going to be for this planner and then a lot of it is going to be for pocket letters which I do have some bad news to share with you guys okay I need to go see what's happening it's probably just wind back to pocket letters when I originally like put out the public request that I wanted some pocket letter Pals I honestly thought that I was going to get like two or three responses back I had no idea that there was going to be about 20 of you that want to be pocket letter Pals so I have decided that this is the way that I'm going to do it for right now and it can change in the future just because again if I did this for a living I'd be knocking out pocket letter Pals all all the time but I've decided that if I end up receiving pocket letters from you guys you will more than likely get one back from me but it will only be one so basically if you send me one and then you get one back from me and then you send me another one you may not get another response back from me just because there's so many people who want to be pocket letter Pals and I've decided what I'm actually going to do is I'm going to join the pocket letter pal community on Facebook and and go through it that way so if you want to go to Facebook I think there's like even a beginners like there's all kinds of categories for pocket letters so I'm going to start off that way I feel like I need to start this off right I'm really sorry that I put this request out there and maybe got some hopes up but I have received two pocket letters already from somebody they just sent them as a surprise so I will be doing pocket letters and sending those back to them but um to be an official pocket letter pal with me will have to be done through Facebook so I'm really sorry so for all of those of you who sent me an email request um I won't be actually sending out pocket letters but if you decide to do one and send one to me again you will receive one response from me but there's no guarantee that you'll receive a second response from me but you never know but I'll at least try to guarantee one pocket letter right back to you okay so with that in mind I I have this huge stationary haul it's really not huge but it's a Dollar Tree stationer haul again couple things from minute what's going down so I went in found a ton of new Christmas stuff I was so blown away and so excited so usually I'll film like a couple of days maybe a couple weeks after I get the stuff and I'm like no I got to film this right now cuz I got right now so let's go ahead and get the stuff from Michael's out of the way I will say I was not thrilled by the dollar amount on the end of my receipt $24 and I really did not get that much um I feel like Hobby Lobby is definitely cheaper definitely has better sales this is why I probably don't go to Michaels that often but I went with one thing in mind and of course I'll walk out with six things but a ton of you have been telling me all about the dollar section at Michaels and their dollar books and I've actually seen them on YouTube as well my stickers were not a dollar no no and my dollar section is not a dollar it's all $150 buy two for $3 and I was like I'm sorry can you just direct me to the Michaels that has the dollar section and the dollar books my booklet was $1.99 and this is really one of the only ones I found but I will say it is quite adorable now compared to the ones at Dollar Tree there is way more in here there's 264 and the ones that I've hauled for Christmas had like 80 so this is still I guess if you compared it if you compare the quantity of stickers this was two bucks so better than Dollar Tree but still I was really hoping to buy these for a dollar this is so cute because it's Santa's soda fountain and it's so Whimsical and gingerbreads and sweets I absolutely adore this sticker book I mean I know you can just tell that there's so much glitter in here and it's so cute and then this one's like foil it's kind of hard to see these things but look at Miss Claus she is just baking it up you go girl look at the little reindeer he is pink I love this so cute and then you can see the reindeer a little bit better on here cuz it's not so shiny look at him Santa so cute so cute another sheet of of glitter but I love all the cute sweets and treats and stuff like that and the snowman as well also in my dollar section I picked up this list pad and it has a magnet but I don't want this for the fridge I want this for my planner so this is so cute it says shopping list and it's in plaid which is so me I love this if you've been watching my channel I did an entire plaid week of Christmas de core DIY and I thought this would be really cute to take out like a couple of pages and put into my planner I'll be sharing all of that with you guys here really soon I am just as a heads up I'm going to be doing a video for every week that I plan so I hope you guys like it I know I'm really into it and so I'm hoping that you guys will be too and then I picked up these little note card sets I mean is that not the cutest thing ever $150 and you get six pieces and I just love this happy holidays and I love the design I picked up a roll of washi tape this was on sale or else I would not have bought it it's originally $12.99 and they have them like colorcoded at Michaels and this was on sale for $7.99 and I thought that's actually not bad at all you get eight rolls of Washi so I guess they're like about a dollar a piece which is not not bad because if you compare that to what you buy at Dollar Tree they're a dollar piece as well and these are super cute I don't know that we would ever find Washi like this at Dollar Tree so the fact that this was $8 and you get eight washies and they're absolutely gorgeous and colorcoded this is great for planners because each week is a theme at least for me it will be so I was like okay this specific colors on sale I'll go ahead and get it now they had black they had silver they had gold they had green they had pink but they were all $12.99 so in the meantime I just got this one also they had all of their Christmas stuff either 40% off or 50% off and so I got some of their washies these ended up being I don't even know let me these were $2.99 each on sale so they were three bucks so I guess if you think about it each Washi is $150 compared to like if I compared a $150 for each single Washi to a Washi at Dollar Tree a doll I would happily pay $150 for each of these because this is so be like the patterns are so beautiful and I don't know that we would see patterns like this from the Dollar Tree so I think this is a great deal okay the next thing that I got is this paper pad of I think 24 sheets and here are the some of the patterns that you get so like this one that one like that and I got this again for my planner and they're so gorgeous and beautiful I will have to get get some sort of cutter to like exactly cut because the boxes in the happy planner are a specific size so I don't have a like cutter tool yet but this was for my planner that is it for my Michaels haul again $24 for all that but $8 of it was at Washi so I think it's okay but I don't know that I would ever be spending that much at Michael's again and now for Dollar Tree woo so excited okay so again this is all like pocket letter or planner stuff and so I have seen these before I've actually hauled these before um when they had this out for like back to school back in August and then I found a re a new purpose for these even though I still have a box I got another one and that is to make paper clips for your planner so I'm going to be making some DIY paper clips I already have with some like old earrings so I picked up some more of these color ones although I do want to find some that are like regular silver and gold so picked up these for the planner something that I saw are these phone stickers if you've been to your Dollar Tree you may have seen these as well they have some really cute patterns in here I thought this would be really cute to include in some pocket letters so I got these for that and these are the ones that you get in here and I love the deer of course I picked up these big pencils I can't stand pencils I've never in my life been a pencil person even when I was a little girl I always wanted to use pen to do all of my homework even math I never have ever liked pencils but my daughter loves them she loves mechanical pencils and so I thought this would just be something cute to put in her stocking for Christmas you know I mean it doesn't always have to be like a gasp item like oh my God gosh this is in my stocking I thought this would just be really cute to put in her stocking for a dollar I have seen these at Dollar Tree for a while now and I thought that I would get this to maybe organize some of my stickers in here I did a sticker organization video and then when I was editing I just decided I didn't like the footage I didn't like the way I organize my sticker and I didn't want to talk about something that I actually didn't like so I'm doing all of my sticker organization and when I saw this I thought this could be where I put my stickers like if I'm traveling I can use this to put all my stickers to travel for with my planner or this could be just a certain category of stickers but I got this for that purpose the next thing that I picked up at the Dollar Tree are these little note cards they yeah they're just not cards and they're not ruled and they come in these really pretty vibrant neon colors I thought this would be really cool to do either two things with actually I'm probably going to go pick up another one as I just thought about it in my cleaning out my craft closet video I was organizing it with Dollar Tree items I made a bin just for studying for my daughter so it has like index cards and pencils and stuff and when I originally saw this one I thought I'm going to add this to my daughter's study bin and these could help her study and now as I just thought about it these would be great for pocket lettering and for my planner as well so I will say I also saw these at the Dollar Tree they're just sticky notes in various neon colors again I had this in mind for my daughter's studying bin some of these may end up in my planner as well and then half in her bin you get 300 sheets and get 1 two 3 four five six individual little sticky pads also again on the sticky notes it is a sticky note theme here today I'm not lying so this one's super cute I've seen this quite often and just passed by it but I thought this would be cute in my planner if I did a Black and White theme absolutely love this you get 300 sheets in here as well and you get little Flags so I absolutely love this I can't wait to use these and the pattern I mean the pattern is really pretty and you get like different patterns as well which I liked okay this Christmas card blew me away Dollar Tree this is just so incredibly gorgeous I love the cards like this at the Dollar Tree that are like individually wrapped I don't know why I love it so much but obsessed look at the back it even has some cute little ornaments in the back and Santa so cute and I think yeah the top of his little hat is a little white pom pom and it says have a very merry Christmas and a jolly New Year I just got one of these not sure what I'm going to do with it but I love this one also picked up my favorite set of Christmas envelopes or Christmas cards from the Dollar Tree say it's like money holders as well but I really didn't get it for that I thought it was so pretty I love the stocking and the little teddy bear and I also really liked the foil of red in here as well they did it with the words and then in the stocking if you can kind of see it and now all of the notepads that I found today that I've have never seen at Dollar Tree before so in their Christmas section I picked up these two but let me tell you there were way more and I only picked up two and I didn't take photos I'm sorry there were a lot of people in there today they're magnetic but again I did not get this for the fridge I got this for for my planner for my December spread then these three I found in the stationer section and again this is for my planner I love this one because it can go like sort of on my sidebar and it also lays out the days as well and it has like a little cooking theme down here so this is where I could write like my menu which I absolutely love that now I'm going to incorporate this into my planner because before I wasn't putting my menu in my planner another thing that can go into your planner is this one it says grocery list you even get little check boxes you get a lot of writing room the lines are ruled thicker so they're not like cuz I have really big handwriting so I'm glad the lines aren't like right on top of each other and I love the pattern at the top it's like a grocery bag filled with food again if you wanted to put this on your Frid you could so I got this for my planner and then this one I love it says but first coffee it's so cute it's just plain has no words except for right here and I love that the coffee mug is red and it kind of looks a little christmy because it looks like these are little lights I don't know if you can tell but again for my planner I also picked up some candy it's been a while and I picked up two of my favorites which are the Coca-Cola Bears it is rare that I see these at my Dollar Tree um sometimes the candy AIS is just not as stocked and and when I saw these today I was like okay I'm be just a certain category of stickers but I got this for that purpose the next thing that I picked up at the Dollar Tree are these little note cards they yeah they're just not cards and they're not ruled and they come in these really pretty vibrant neon colors I thought this would be really cool to do either two things with actually I'm probably going to go pick up another one as I just thought about it in my cleaning out my craft closet video I was organizing it with Dollar Tree items I made a bin just for studying for my daughter so it has like index cards and pencils and stuff and when I originally saw this one I thought I'm going to add this to my daughter's study bin and these could help her study and now as I just thought about it these would be great for pocket lettering and for my planner as well so I will say I also saw these at the Dollar Tree they're just sticky notes in various neon colors again I had this in mind for my daughter's studying bin some of these may end up in my planner as well and then half in her bin you get 300 sheets and get 1 two 3 four five six individual little sticky pads also again on the sticky notes it is a sticky note theme here today I'm not lying so this one's super cute I've seen this quite often and just passed by it but I thought this would be cute in my planner if I did a Black and White theme absolutely love this you get 300 sheets in here as well and you get little Flags so I absolutely love this I can't wait to use these and the pattern I mean the pattern is really pretty and you get like different patterns as well which I liked okay this Christmas card blew me away Dollar Tree this is just so incredibly gorgeous I love the cards like this at the Dollar Tree that are like individually wrapped I don't know why I love it so much but obsessed look at the back it even has some cute little ornaments in the back and Santa so cute and I think yeah the top of his little hat is a little white pom pom and it says have a very merry Christmas and a jolly New Year I just got one of these not sure what I'm going to do with it but I love this one also picked up my favorite set of Christmas envelopes or Christmas cards from the Dollar Tree say it's like money holders as well but I really didn't get it for that I thought it was so pretty I love the stocking and the little teddy bear and I also really liked the foil of red in here as well they did it with the words and then in the stocking if you can kind of see it and now all of the notepads that I found today that I've have never seen at Dollar Tree before so in their Christmas section I picked up these two but let me tell you there were way more and I only picked up two and I didn't take photos I'm sorry there were a lot of people in there today they're magnetic but again I did not get this for the fridge I got this for for my planner for my December spread then these three I found in the stationer section and again this is for my planner I love this one because it can go like sort of on my sidebar and it also lays out the days as well and it has like a little cooking theme down here so this is where I could write like my menu which I absolutely love that now I'm going to incorporate this into my planner because before I wasn't putting my menu in my planner another thing that can go into your planner is this one it says grocery list you even get little check boxes you get a lot of writing room the lines are ruled thicker so they're not like cuz I have really big handwriting so I'm glad the lines aren't like right on top of each other and I love the pattern at the top it's like a grocery bag filled with food again if you wanted to put this on your Frid you could so I got this for my planner and then this one I love it says but first coffee it's so cute it's just plain has no words except for right here and I love that the coffee mug is red and it kind of looks a little christmy because it looks like these are little lights I don't know if you can tell but again for my planner I also picked up some candy it's been a while and I picked up two of my favorites which are the Coca-Cola Bears it is rare that I see these at my Dollar Tree um sometimes the candy AIS is just not as stocked and and when I saw these today I was like okay I'm getting those because I love these and the Cherry ones are also a favorite but I'm not going to lie I will eat all of these today and I will be so sick the gummies always make me sick and make me nauseous but I do it anyway I just got some batteries I ran out so I picked up some more and I always get these alkalines a subscriber a long time ago couple months ago when I asked about like batteries from you guys um one of you had suggested that the alkalines were a lot better so I've always been getting these and they do work really well I just got some Disney princess stickers if you watch my video you know why I've haul this then I saw these new trays out today they are gorgeous they had this Christmas tree in green and then they had ones that look like candy like peppermint candies they had one in red and one in green and I thought this was so incredibly cute this will probably go in my room and I can put my jewelry in here or in my bathroom because this is the first year that I'm going to be making over my bedroom for Christmas and it's little items like these that really can give it a really sweet Touch without breaking the bank coming down to the last couple of items these are all for pocket letters but I saw these erasers and they're so adorable I love how many you get in here and the little gingerbread man is the cutest in this whole thing to me but even Santa and the penguin the whole thing's cute and you get 12 count mhm so I got this for pocket letters and then these were so I've never seen this at the Dollar Tree before they're the jingle gift tags and if you can tell they like pop up and they jingle I mean gorgeous tags for the Dollar Tree I just can't even handle this they had more Styles different little tags to choose from these were the ones that appealed to me most they had one that was a little bit more cartoon more kid-friendly and they had two different sets that I saw from that were like more adult and mature and sophisticated so this one was my favorite of those two some more tags well not some more tags this is the first time I've ever picked up tags but I figured this would be great for pocket lettering I could cut these up and include them inside and they are so cute especially if you cut them up and organize them into like just a theme so like I could send somebody all the deer ones or I could send somebody the ones that have all the trees but I got this for pocket lettering the tags are so incredibly gorgeous for the Dollar Tree you get two sheets and there's 40 count that's amazing and then this one was a little bit like pastel colors peppermint colors really pretty there's more deer and there's even a Santa slle and peppermints they had a ton of different patterns for these as well but these two were my favorite oh a serving size isn't the whole bag okay so for my favorite item from my Dollar Tree haul that was a hard one but I'm basically just going to boil it down to these notepads these as soon as I realized I wanted to incorporate notepads into my planner the Dollar Tree just surprised me yet again I've always picked up a couple of their notepads but I've never been more excited about them until now because it's just so much fun going to the Dollar Tree and loving it for a reason and then all of a sudden you find another reason to love it I don't know if that makes any sense but I was so thrilled to see really gorgeous notepads from them this trip my favorite item from Michaels I'm not really sure what it would be honestly it's probably the washi tape I really don't have that much at all and what I do have is from Dollar Tree and it's all either Halloween or Christmas Washi so I really needed some good old Washi that was just not holiday related for my planner so I'm pretty pretty much most excited about this that's my haul comment below let me know which item was your
