Hello Everybody: An Introduction to Pinterest

Hello everybody, how are you? David Franco here from tal.com as well as David the.co or DD franco.com whichever you prefer today's video is all about Pinterest. You've probably heard of it pin plus interest equals pinning things of interest on boards; they like to call it just think of it as a virtual pin board and that's exactly what it is now.

A Brief History of My Interest in Pinterest

First let me give a little back history backstory whatever you want to call that on my interest in Pinterest. You see, I probably about a year ago maybe even more Kevin Rose invited a bunch of people through his foundation network uh to pinterest.com as very early beta testers it may have even been Alpha back then I'm not even sure but I was one of those people. I was one of the first people to actually use Pinterest but by use I mean I never really did use it cuz I never really found a use for it.

Pinterest: A Public and Not Completely Public Platform

Pinterest is as public as it has ever been, it's not completely public but as long as you request an invite over Pinterest.com I believe they'll let you sign up in a matter of just a couple days so why exactly am I making this video basically just to let you guys know that I'm folling on Pinterest.com David DeFranco that is exactly how you can go there you can follow me but the awesome thing about Pinterest is that you don't even have to just follow people you can follow boards alone without even following anybody. Say you flat out hate me but you love my video game collection then you can just follow my video game collection and not me and in my eyes that is so awesome.

The TCH Social.com Store: A New Era for Tech Central

Basically this website will be taking over TCH social.com store which up until now has hosted a bunch of products over at amazon.com basically all the products that you see in my room actually you just saw them in my tour of the geek stre spring 2012 thank you so much for your support by the way people are loving it already. My Pinterest Boards: A Personal and Interests-Based Approach

I have separate boards for my Xbox 360 collection, my Wii collection, my Playstation 3 collection but my biggest Board of all is definitely yes you guess it all of the technology I use that goes are my Mac Pro, my Xbox 360, my iPhones and iPads and well iPad iPod collection too many eyes even my freaking lamp people like my lights and by lights I especially mean my Cube that is also on there. So I encourage you to go check out Pinterest.com David Franco again you don't even have to follow me just follow the boards that you're interested in and yes I will be creating many boards over time not even about stuff that I own but stuff that I find interesting think of Pinterest as like a social bookmarking site but extremely media Rich.
