I noticed some choppiness as you can see there this is at the high graphic settings and the car uh steering was a bit unresponsive but let's try it again it is playable even on this highest graphic settings but definitely the animation is not the test but uh it's not like it's not playable I would say but uh definitely this's a slight sluggishness in controlling the car at this highest graphic setting as you can see still a displayable so yes you you can play it at the highest graphic settings uh but uh the controls at times get a little bit sluggish in my opinion uh so what I'll do is I'll just squit this and set the graphic settings back to the default medium graphic settings and let's then continue playing this asphal 8 setting it back to the medium graphic level so again we're playing this Iceland level and now I have set the graphics settings to medium and in fact I also played this Asphalt 8 with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini which also hes a Snapdragon 400 chipset and for that handset also it could play asphal 8 at the high setting but uh it was not the smoothest experience and at medium that device also played well and definitely at the medium uh graphic settings uh it's way more smoother and I you can see I have a lot more control now let me do the drift and as you can see it's in complete control now so looks like on this uh medium graphic settings it plays it perfectly and I would say uh that again due to that uh stereo front firing speaker uh the experience is a lot more immersive and as you can see it is playing this uh Asphalt 8 uh great on the medium Graphics settings so let me just get off this one also and uh we'll try one more heavy game that's the new Modern Combat 5 and let's see how that handles on this new Moto G2 let me get out of this one now and let me just swipe that away and we'll try this new Modern Combat fin now a move to cover and with this uh mod Combat 5 uh I noticed one time it just crashed on me it's not happening always but I did notice that it crashed on me once two this is advance to extraction point B and sometimes only sometimes I did notice some choppiness in this game when there is a lot of action it does not happen all the time I would say but yes sometimes it can happen Hile back and as you can see there a drop quite a bit of drop frames there and again here as you can see it is choppy so looks like the device Dev is struggling to provide the decent frame rates here again as you can see actually the mod Combat 4 uh runs a lot better on this device take him out that's all right out of here so as you can see it is playable but at times when there was a lot of action uh there is some drop frames and also I do notice that this area is getting a bit uh warm now keep let's continue this ch more incoming people not hang on keep on fire godam it I think we're in the clear oh minut it and this uh Modern Combat 5 is a very graphic heavy game uh one of the most graphic heavy FPS game on Android as of now I need immediate backup they're all over us back up now so it is very much playable but again as we did notice that sometimes um when there is a lot of action it can be a little bit choppy at times so it's been almost now 20 minutes since we are gaming and this portion has become a little bit warm here so and as you can see it's around 44° C at this portion and the back is also now a little bit warm and that's also register near the camera about 44° c as you can see so yes with extended gaming uh this device can become a little bit hot and regarding gaming performance yes as we have seen it can play many of the games it can play almost any casual game and even heavy games also as we have seen it can play uh but with very heavy games like asphal and Modern Combat 5 you might have to set the graphic settings to medium also for smooth playback so that's it for now for this gaming review of this Moto G second edition I have also made several other videos on this Moto G covering its various other aspects so make sure that you check out the other videos links will be in the YouTube show notes thank you for watching this video
Moto G 2nd Gen Gaming Review with Heavy HD Games
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is rajit and I have the second generation of the Moto G also known as the 2014 edition and in this video we'll be doing some gaming with this Moto G and I'm not going to play very casual games I'll just start from mid-range games and then we move to heavy games uh so let's first started with Dead Trigger 2 so this is Dead Trigger 2 and uh though this new Moto G has two front firing speakers and uh they produce sound and stereo it is not very loud but what I would say it offers a lot more clarity than the previous version of the Moto G and that stereo effect does make sense and uh for watching videos also for example music videos uh it's a good experience and some of you asked me about the screen quality the screen quality is actually uh pretty decent it's a fight in 720p HD screen I'm in trouble glad to see you here great notice the dial stuck here for ages all right let's roll they are a lot clear and uh they do provide a little base I would say okay on come on all right let's go continueing again and as you can see it's playing this dead trigger to without any issues there's no stuttering or anything like that okay let's take it to the right are you okay so as you can see it's playing this dead trigger to uh very well uh now I'll just move to the next game now so let me just get out of this one and let's just swipe it away as you can see and now uh let's try one more game uh that is asphal 8 so this is asphal 8 and by default if you go to the settings in the graphic mode you'll notice that it is set on medium uh but we'll set it to high and see how it uh behaves and let's uh play some uh Asal dat and we have to reboot it so I'll just reboot and I'll be back and we are playing the Iceland level and I have set the graphic level to high so let's see how it plays and I'm going to use the on screen steering I noticed some uh choppiness as you can see there this is at the high graphic settings and the car uh steering was a bit unresponsive but let's try it again it is playable even on this highest graphic settings but definitely the animation is not the test but uh it's not like it's not playable I would say but uh definitely this's a slight sluggishness in controlling the car at this highest graphic setting as you can see still a displayable so yes you you can play it at the highest graphic settings uh but uh the controls at times get a little bit sluggish in my opinion uh so what I'll do is I'll just squit this and set the graphic settings back to the default medium graphic settings and let's then continue playing this asphal 8 setting it back to the medium graphic level so again we playing this Iceland level and now I have set the graphics settings to medium and in fact I also played this Asphalt 8 with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini which also hes a Snapdragon 400 chipset and for that handset also it could play asphal 8 at the high setting but uh it was not the smoothest experience and at medium that device also played well and definitely at the medium uh graphic settings uh it's way more smoother and I you can see I have a lot more control now let me do the drift and as you can see it's in complete control now so looks like on this uh medium graphic settings it plays it perfectly and I would say uh that again due to that uh stereo front firing speaker uh the experience is a lot more immersive and as you can see it is playing this uh Asphalt 8 uh great on the medium Graphics settings so let me just get off this one also and uh we'll try one more heavy game that's the new Modern Combat 5 and let's see how that handles on this new Moto G2 let me get out of this one now and let me just swipe that away and we'll try this new Modern Combat fin now a move to cover and with this uh mod Combat 5 uh I noticed one time it just crashed on me it's not happening always but I did notice that it crashed on me once two this is advance to extraction point B and sometimes only sometimes I did notice some choppiness in this game when there is a lot of action it does not happen all the time I would say but yes sometimes it can happen Hile back and as you can see there a drop quite a bit of drop frames there and again here as you can see it is choppy so looks like the device Dev is struggling to provide the decent frame rates here again as you can see actually the mod Combat 4 uh runs a lot better on this device take him out that's all right out of here so as you can see it is playable but at times when there was a lot of action uh there is some drop frames and also I do notice that this area is getting a bit uh warm now keep let's continue this ch more incoming people not hang on keep on fire godam it I think we're in the clear oh minut it and this uh Modern Combat 5 is a very graphic heavy game uh one of the most graphic heavy FPS game on Android as of now I need immediate backup they're all over us back up now so it is very much playable but again as we did notice that sometimes um when there is a lot of action it can be a little bit choppy at times so it's been almost now 20 minutes since we are gaming and this portion has become a little bit warm here so and as you can see it's around 44° C at this portion and the back is also now a little bit warm and that's also register near the camera about 44° c as you can see so yes with extended gaming uh this device can become a little bit hot and uh regarding gaming performance yes as we have seen it can play many of the games it can play almost any casual game and even heavy games also as we have seen it can play uh but with very heavy games like asphal and Modern Combat 5 you might have to set the graphic settings to medium also for smooth playback uh so that's it for now for this gaming review of this Moto G second edition I have also made several other videos on this Moto G covering its various other aspects so make sure that you check out the other videos links will be
