**A Closer Look at the Garmin Venu SQ2: A Fitness Watch with a Twist**
The Garmin Venu SQ2 is a fitness watch that offers a unique blend of features and functionality. One of the standout features of this device is its ability to give users a "fitness age" - not their actual biological age, but based on how fit they are. This feature provides an additional layer of insight into the user's health and wellness, and is just one example of the many tools that the Venu SQ2 offers.
In addition to its fitness features, the Venu SQ2 also tracks a wide range of other data points, including heart rate, sleep patterns, and daily activity. This information can be used to gain a deeper understanding of the user's health and wellness, and to identify areas for improvement. The device also includes a variety of training courses and workouts that can be accessed through Garmin Coach, which provides personalized guidance and support.
One of the things that sets the Venu SQ2 apart from other fitness watches is its focus on continuous improvement and progress tracking. Rather than simply providing users with a snapshot of their current fitness level, this device encourages them to strive for excellence and to push themselves beyond their limits. This approach can be incredibly motivating, and can help users to achieve their health and wellness goals.
The Venu SQ2 also includes some impressive hardware features, including an AMOLED display that is both brighter and more vibrant than the displays found on earlier Garmin models. The device also has a slightly larger screen, making it easier to read and navigate. Additionally, the Venu SQ2 has a more improved vibration motor compared to its predecessor.
Another advantage of the Venu SQ2 is its battery life, which can last up to 12 days with normal usage. This makes it an excellent option for users who are looking for a device that can keep up with their active lifestyle without requiring constant recharging. The device also weighs in at just 42 grams, making it both lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Garmin has also made significant strides in terms of user engagement and support. Rather than relying on a single, proprietary platform, the Venu SQ2 is available across multiple e-commerce sites and retail channels. This makes it easier for users to find and purchase the device that suits their needs, whether they prefer to shop online or in-store.
In terms of pricing, Garmin has not yet disclosed the exact cost of the Venu SQ2. However, the company has indicated that the device will be priced below $30,000, which suggests a competitive price point for those looking to invest in a high-quality fitness watch.
Overall, the Garmin Venu SQ2 is an impressive addition to the brand's lineup of fitness watches. With its unique "fitness age" feature, robust training courses and workouts, and impressive hardware specifications, this device offers something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to get started with your fitness journey, the Venu SQ2 is definitely worth considering.
**Additional Information**
The Garmin Venu SQ2 will be available in India in both music and non-music models, each with three different color options. The device will be available across multiple e-commerce sites and retail channels, including Amazon and other online retailers.
It's worth noting that the Venu SQ2 is part of Garmin's fourth-generation heart rate sensor technology, which is also used on more expensive devices like the Forerunner and Fenix lines. This means that users can expect high-quality data and accurate tracking, even with this lower-priced model.
As always, it's a good idea to check prices and availability in your area before making a purchase. With its competitive pricing and robust feature set, the Garmin Venu SQ2 is definitely worth considering for anyone looking for a high-quality fitness watch.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys this is Ranjit and in this video we'll have a look at this new Garmin Fitness Smartwatch that was launched and the name for this one is the Garmin venue sq2 and this is the successful when you sq1 and this is the Smartwatch that it does and I've been actually using this for the last seven days so let me give you an idea and guys if you don't know Garmin is a premium what do you say smart watch Fitness Watch kind of a provider and if you guys recall uh you must have seen this smart watch quite a bit in my video this is my personal garment this is the high-end epics 2 that I personally use but this is the new Garmin when you execute you and this is actually pretty affordable for a Garmin this sits in the mid-range price bracket and uh this one actually has a squarish what do you say screen but now this uh what do you say sq2 is actually having a new AMOLED screen which is actually a 1.41 inch which is a lot bigger than the earlier sq2 and in fact in terms of battery life also this is actually a lot better Garmin actually claims about 10 to 11 days of that 11 to 12 days of battery life and I think so that's very close to that one in my uh testing but let's have a look at this and this is the box that you get and this actually comes in two variants guys as you can see uh this is the music Edition we also get a regular edition the only difference is that the music Edition you can load up to 500 songs on the watch so on the go when you're exercising and stuff you can listen to music and you also get the non-music version it's exactly the same apart from that functionality so this is the watch and I've been actually wearing it for the past seven days let me give you an idea and of course this comes in this watch your box you get the watch itself and you get this QR code where you can install the app and one thing that I like with Garmin uh what is is that it actually works on both Android as well as iOS in fact the software is exactly the same if you use iOS or Android so it's compatible with both trading system and apart from that you also get this charging puck I'll just keep that to the side and this is actually the same charging part that was there even on the Apex 2. so if you have used any uh near Garmin watches the same charging cable that you get and generally the big strength with Garmin is terms of battery life this is also actually giving me very good battery like we can expect about 10 days of battery life but let me actually show you the watch itself this is the watch let me zoom in a little bit so this is the watch itself that you're seeing and this is the squarish let me just take this out and the build is actually aluminum guys as I've told you this is having a 1.41 inch uh minute screen of course this is actually a touch screen so you can use the touch controls so that's actually a nice thing generally older garments and most of them were non-touch and you have to only use the physical buttons yes we do have two physical buttons over here but again you also have the touch so it's a lot more easier to use and you can just press this to go back again you can press this for activities and all this in fact as it's a environment you have a lot of Fitness oriented activities and stuff in fact it can track up to 25. of course this is completely water resistant and all those things you don't have to worry uh five ATMs so in fact you can also go swimming with this one and yes if nothing will happen at this proper water resistant so it's actually pretty light in terms of weight also we also have the optical heart rate sensor and in fact I'm surprised that this is the same heart rate sensor that they are actually using in the more expensive Phoenix or the Apex this is the generation 4 1 which is the latest and accuracy is a lot better with this one so you're having the same one on this uh one apart from that you have regular stuff for example actually I'll show you the app uh because there is where we will see a lot of data I feel the most important thing about Garmin is the kind of data that it collects and that shows you the health and what you are doing and all those things and of course you can keep this press to go to other options of course this is connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone so again any calls Etc come or let's say notifications also you can actually select what type of notification for example I can for example have a lot of 100 notifications so I have already read no notifications so but if any notification comes it will pop up here so you can read all that so here are all the options and as you can see you have a lot of options here again garment is that Fitness kind of uh thing in fact I also like that because it has such good battery life you can actually wear this watch to sleep and it tracks a lot of parameters and guys trust me uh sleep tracking is very very important because that actually shows the snapshot of your health what is actually happening your resting rate Etc your respiration and all those things in fact I'm actually not that well if you notice from past seven days I'm gonna have that flu so not that well in fact uh the watch actually uh showed me that something was wrong with my regular stuff in fact if I wear this watch you have that heart rate sensor as I've told you here at the back and this is actually a continuous heart rate sensor for example you must have seen that we have the heart rate sensor Etc in a lot of other smart watches also and all those things but most of them actually just track the heart rate once every five minutes or 10 minutes it's not continuous but on this one if you notice this heart rate here the bottom this one is being a red Real Time In fact when I show you the app let me actually show you the app because that's where the most of the interesting stuff is there so let me just unlock and this is the Garmin Connect app you can just download this and this gives again I have to wear it and in real time if I wear after a couple of seconds it will actually show us the heart rate again uh so yeah as you can see 77 it's actually showing me so this is actually in a real time it shows the heart rate what you are having and the thing about heart rate is that it also continuously foreign while even you're sleeping so let me actually show you from the watch if I press it it shows me the heart rate but if I go down here this is actually the what it's showing me is actually my resting heart rate and this is very very important as I've told you guys I'm not that well right now and as you can see my resting heart rate is pretty high it's about 72. generally if I'm well doing normally the resting heart rate is about 68 or 69. so as you can see this was actually showing me a lot higher now recovering so it's improving so these are some of the small things that I started noticing once I started using carbon and its data so again you might say yes other smart watches also have heart rate ring but even if the hard reading tracking is off by four or five points your data points are totally thrown off let me actually now go back and show you this I I'll just keep the watch here and also another small thing that this Garmin does is that it's all about data as I've told you we also have this body battery health every day uh it depends on how you sleep how when value R it gives you a number that how is your maximum you can get as 100 as I've told you I'm not that well so it told me that I recharged only about 52 points out of 100 for the day so this tracks your stress level and everything and this is done automatically in the background that's the beauty of Garmin and it's doing all this thing real time and also again as I've told you the stress levels the tracks and all this thing uh if you're doing any workouts and everything automatically it will start tracking it and give you certain in fact you can also here in the quick uh what whatever you do you can for example I do a lot of walking walking indoor bike riding and swimming and you can add a lot more so you can track all those activities and again of course this is having a GPS so if you track those activities for example yesterday I tracked my walk if I go over here where is the data here it also tracks uh where you have worked exactly gives you a map and all these things because uh this is having a GPS apart from that you get a lot of data on this one for example your pace your heart rate and all those things so if you are running or you want to improve your stamina or something let's say you're able to jog for let's say 200 meters but you want to increase it eventually to a kilometer or something these things are very very important and gives you a lot of information in real time uh just like the higher end of Phoenix and the Epic so in that way I like this uh watch from Garmin that's not compromising on a lot of data that it gathers it's almost the same that I was getting on the epics so that way it's nice so you get a lot of data so again again as I've told you your sms's or email messages or whatever you get it over your notification I just got a what do you say um uh Gmail message again you can customize what notifications you want or not so that functionality is there so again this is all about the data respiration also it tracks it also sleep it gives you a score of course uh so I got a 67 this is okay uh but it gives you a sleep score uh how just sleeps going after it's going up or down so all this parameters uh boil down to how well you are feeling and how you can improve your health that is uh important thing of course uh apart from that another thing that I like on this Smartwatch is uh if you go to uh health statistics again you have a lot of uh stuff over here for example your pulse O2 and even what is spo2 it can track but another small thing that it does is it gives you a fitness age this is not your real biological age but based on how fit you are it gives you a 15 uh Fitness eight my regular age is 45 but now as it's saying that my fitness age is 43.5 in fact this is a little bit higher my regular Fitness age used to be about 42 but as I've told you I'm not doing any workouts as I'm sick for the last seven days it has increased and it gives you tips how to actually reduce your Fitness age so uh one thing that I always liked about Garmin is that it continuously tries to help you to improve your health and tries to push you apart from this again if you are big into that running and all those things you also have garment coach there you can go in training and all this thing you have a lot of what you say training courses Works workouts and all those things you can start a workout plan a workout so you have all those things and again uh this this is actually free guys the coaching classes the courses or whatever you have over here these are actually free they have tons and tons of uh that and in fact it will help you in that improving uh whatever activity you're doing trying to do so we have a lot of this and again I won't get into all of this because at the video will come too long but give you an idea uh this is about your health tracking what it is doing and gives you a lot of insight so you know as you might be thinking yes I'd go for morning walks or whatever every day I do I'm pretty healthy but once you start using these devices you get to know your actual Health how you're performing and how you can actually improve so that way it's doing a good job and I like the fact that all this data that you're getting uh for example some I won't name uh names or whatever but I know many of the brands who also do Health tracking or whatever with the fitness devices have started blocking this in-depth data they might give you free access to this data or whatever for six months or eight months after that they'll start charging you subscription fee but I did double check with Garmin all this data that you will be getting that is you get from your watch and the ultimate data is completely free and they will not be charging any extra fees for all this stuff so that is again something that I like so overall I would say this is a pretty good Fitness Watch I like that uh compared to the older uh what do you say uh venue sq2 uh it improves on quite a few things now this is an AMOLED screen that you're having uh so a little bit more what do you say vibrant I would say brighter and of course this is slightly bigger as I've told you 1.41 end screen also in terms of battery life I feel this is actually a lot improved uh as of today about 11 or 12 days uh easily I I think so in my estimate you should get easily about 10 days worth of battery life with this uh one uh so uh overall actually I'm pretty happy with this and also this is actually pretty lightweight also in terms of vibration motor it has a vibration motor I feel the vibration motor is also improved compared to the older venue SQ so overall I would say this is a nice uh Fitness kind of a smart watch if you are looking into it and always wanted to get into the Garmin world you can have a look and I'm surprised that using the latest fourth generation of this heart rate sensor which is found on their more expensive Phoenix and epic server so you're getting that same high quality data even with this one uh this will be available in India in both that music and non-music and as you can see in various colors the music one comes in this three different colors and the non-music comes in this three different colors uh regarding the pricing guys I asked Garmin because it's a unit they didn't disclose the exact pricing the only thing they're going to mention to me was that these will be priced below 30 000 so I don't know what it is what does that mean does that mean 28 029 000 whatever what I'll do is when I know the exact pricing I'll add all that information in the description so that you can check it out another thing I like with Garmin is that they are not locked to a particular e-commerce site or something so this will be available across a lot of e-commerce sites like Amazon Etc but also in a lot of offline stores and Garmin official stores so anyways guys this was the Garmin venue sq2 what do you feel about the same two let me know in the comment section below anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my next video take care guyshi guys this is Ranjit and
