How to Make a D-Grill that Really Works
Welcome to Simple Kidc Crash.com episode 740! In this video, we'll show you how to make a D-Grill that really works. Don't worry if you're not familiar with DIY projects; we'll walk you through each step in detail.
Using the Mesh
To start making your D-Grill, you'll need to gather some materials. One of the key components is the mesh, which can be sourced from a variety of places. You can use the mesh out of a crate that you salvage from a farmer's market, or you can find it in fruit packaging at the supermarket. Alternatively, you can make your own mesh using toothpicks and some creative crafting skills.
Using the Sewing Kit Case
In addition to the mesh, we'll also be using a sewing kit case as part of our D-Grill build. The case provides an ideal base for attaching various components, including the mesh and wire frames that will hold your grill together. We'll use this case to create a sturdy foundation for our project.
Cutting the Mesh
Once you have your mesh in hand, it's time to cut it to size. Cut two pieces of hard wire for the legs and handles, as well as one piece for the cooking grid. Use a bit for the handles and shape the legs to give them a more stable base.
Coloring the Cooking Grid
Now that we've got our mesh cut and shaped, it's time to add some color to your D-Grill. Cut the cooking grid into the desired size, and then paint or dye it silver. This will not only make your grill look more appealing but also provide a durable surface for cooking.
Optional: Adding a Gas Tank
One of the standout features of our D-Grill is its gas tank, which contains a AAA battery that lights up when connected to the main grill. To add this feature, you'll need to purchase two copper cables and attach them to the gas tank using aluminum foil. Make sure the foil touches both pieces of the cable before inserting the battery into the egg.
Connecting the Gas Tank
To connect the gas tank to the grill, make a hole at the back of the grill and pass one of the copper cables through it. Attach another piece of aluminum foil to each end of the cable, and then glue them down leaving enough space for a LiBul battery on top. Make sure that the sides and bottom of the battery touch the aluminum foil to provide color to the cooking grid.
Adding Handles
Now that we've got our gas tank connected, it's time to add some handles to your D-Grill. Cut two small pieces of wire and shape them into handle shapes, attaching them to the grill using glue or tape.
Stabilizing the Tank
To give your D-Grill stability, attach the legs to a juice cap by gluing them in place. This will ensure that the tank doesn't tip over when you're cooking on it.
Attaching the Lid
The final step is to attach the lid to the grill using a piece of rib. Once this is done, place the mesh back into the grill and color it silver. Finally, attach the gas tank by gluing it in place with some wire.
And That's It!
Congratulations! You've now completed your very own D-Grill that really works. With its adjustable legs, lid that opens and closes, and gas tank that lights up, this project is sure to be a hit at any gathering or outdoor event.
