**The Magnite: A Track Day Car**

You know it's got tons of power tires never give up the brakes never give up everything just keeps going you know so you can feel it it's stiff but it's still it's still absorbing the bumps right we're not losing that much traction you know so the car is still compliant that's something we really worked on with the magnite stuff was just to get it super complying so it still has grip but yet controls the car well gives really good feedback to the driver on what it's doing so you can control the car with the throttle with the steering with the brakes right so as you change the load on the tires the car responds very quickly to that so any sort of throttle correction I make any sort of uh steering correction you get good immediate response like right here if I lift there the nose tucks in now we're back to the gas now the back end comes out just a little bit just like you want.

**The Science Behind Compliance**

We have different Drive modes, right? So, I'm actually in Normal Mode. That's the most mundane mode, okay? When you turn the key on, that's it. But we also have Track Mode. That's where the magic happens. The exhaust valves are closed, and the suspension is in its softest setting. This gives us a bit of give when we're pushing the car hard, but still provides enough feedback to keep us connected to the road. We've worked on this extensively with our Magnite program to get it just right – not too firm, not too loose. The result is a car that's compliant, yet still responsive and communicative.

**Adjusting for Track Performance**

Now, let's adjust the settings for track performance. I'll ratchet up the damper setting to Sport Mode. This gives us more aggressive handling, with the throttle open wider and the stability control working harder to keep the car on course. We're not giving up too much traction, but we are getting a bit more grip and feedback from the car. This is where the real fun begins – as we get more comfortable with the car and our driving skills improve, we can start to turn down the electronic aids.

**Track Mode: The Sweet Spot**

Now, let's switch to Track Mode. We're not giving up Trac control entirely, but rather letting the car behave a bit more aggressively. This gives us a lot of feedback and response from the car, which is perfect for track driving. We can feel every bump, every change in traction – it's like having an extension of our own body on the road. The suspension is stiffer than before, giving us even better handling and stability. This is where the Magnite truly comes alive – a track day car that can handle anything we throw at it.

**The Driving Experience**

Now that we're in Track Mode, let's take it for a spin. We'll start with a gentle warm-up lap to get the tires up to temperature. As we pick up speed, you can feel the car coming alive – the exhaust notes are music to our ears, and the steering is precise and responsive. The brakes are firm but not too aggressive, giving us just enough bite to keep us on course. This is what it's all about – the thrill of driving a car that's been designed specifically for track performance.

**Conclusion**

The Magnite is truly a track day car. With its tons of power, responsive handling, and comfortable ride, it's perfect for drivers who know how to push the limits. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this car will provide you with an unparalleled driving experience. So why wait? Get behind the wheel and feel the magic for yourself!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engo out oh e e okay we'll put the windows up so we can talk that' be great so as Carrie mentioned in the meeting we have different Drive modes so right now I'm actually in normal mode so that's the just you turn the key on so that'd be the most mundane mode okay so right now the exhaust the valves are closed uh the suspension is in its softest setting and the steering's in kind of its middle setting okay so the car is a little bit softer now because again the dampers are full soft on it right now in the softest setting We have basically three main settings for the dampers for from a a normal street driving standpoint anyway so now what I'll do is I'll ratchet it up to the track mode and so that that gave us uh more the throttle is more open the throttle excuse me the exhaust vales are more open the stability control is more open and what I'm going to do is I'll start in the softer damper mode so we're in the sport damper mode so that's the middle damper mode okay so if you're ready we'll go a little faster now yeah all right tires are cold cuz we haven't really ran at much so let's just let's just do a nice little warm up here so I don't know if you can see the shift lights are working there in the middle it's really hard for you to see them I'm sure oh so what what I did is I just went straight to track mode so what we can do is we can go one more Notch we can turn off just Trac control okay so what that'll do is that'll that'll that'll let us spin the wheels a little bit but still still will still have some some advanced track stability control working do you know what I'm saying okay so it's it's nice we have all these different modes so as a driver gets more comfortable with the car or the track and gets more experience he can kind of keep ratcheting up in in aggressiveness of of the vehicle you know as you as you feel more comfortable you can start turning off the electronic NES as they say right so that really helps all right so let's uh let's go I think we had a good Gap let's go then so now we don't have Trac control all right let's switch to the stiffer damper mode now so you get a feel for that good so you can feel everything's a little bit crisper yep a little bit more firm this way you feel less body roll oh yeah even over the jump we didn't quite extend as high you know what I'm saying there so the suspension didn't droop out as much it's just got more more stiffness everywhere so you get a little bit more feedback a little bit more response in the car pretty badass car though huh it's awesome this goes a lot more suited to the tires and On Track Performance yes yes it truly is a track day car you know it's got tons of power tires never give up the brakes never give up everything just keeps going you know so you can feel it it's stiff but it's still it's still absorbing the bumps right we're not losing that much traction you know so the car is still compliant that's something we really worked on with the magnite stuff was just to get it super complying so it still has grip but yet controls the car well gives really good feedback to the driver on what it's doing so you can control the car with the throttle with the steering with the brakes right so as you change the load on the tires the car responds very quickly to that so any sort of throttle correction I make any sort of uh steering correction you get good immediate response like right here if I lift there the nose tucks in now we're back to the gas now the back end comes out just a little bit just like you
