Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Impressions after using it for a couple of hrs

Initial Impressions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for about 2-3 hours, and I wanted to share my initial impressions about this phone. It's not a review, as a review will take time, but I just wanted to give you an idea of how I feel about this phone after using it for a short period.

The first thing that caught my attention was the size of the screen. I thought the phone might be a bit heavy due to its 5.7-inch display, but that's not true. The phone is actually very comfortable to hold, and Samsung did a great job in making it feel light. When you hold the phone, you don't even notice its weight, which is impressive.

I played some casual games on this phone, and they ran smoothly without any issues. I also did some casual benchmarking with the phone and was surprised by its top scores. However, I did notice that in some of the benchmarks, the back portion tends to get a little hot when running them repeatedly. We'll see how it performs in future testing.

One thing that really stood out to me is the new back cover, which Samsung claims is made from "fox leather." The feel of this material is actually quite different from the standard Samsung plastic back, and I like it. It provides a good grip, and the phone feels nice in my hand. However, I'm not sure how well it will hold up in long-term usage. While it's not pure leather or genuine leather, it does have a nice feel to it.

The design of the Note 3 is also worth mentioning. The phone looks similar to other Samsung phones, but with some minor changes. The corners are more rectangular than those on my Samsung Galaxy S4, which has a more rounded shape. The standard home button and two touch type capacit buttons at the bottom are present, but the biggest departure is the new back cover.

I wanted to see if the camera could capture the texture of the fox leather, so I took some close-up shots of it. As expected, the material looks nice in photos, with a subtle sheen to it. The feel of the phone is still apparent in these shots, which suggests that the material will be pleasant to hold.

The battery life of the Note 3 is another advantage. It has a massive 3200mAh battery, which can be expanded by adding micro SIMs and Micro SD cards up to 64GB. This is a good thing, as it provides ample storage space for users who need it. However, the minimum internal storage capacity of 32GB may be a bit low for some users.

Overall, I'm impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 so far. It feels light and comfortable in my hand, runs smoothly, and has a nice design. The new back cover is a highlight, and the battery life is certainly a plus. I'll continue to test this phone extensively before making any final judgments, but for now, it's definitely worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with me and I have been using this phone now for about 2 3 hours and I just wanted to give you my initial Impressions regarding this phone it's not a review a review will take time it'll take about a week or two to come but I just wanted to give you my initial thoughts about this phone after using it for about 2 3 hours and I have to say uh the first thing that uh I noticed about the phone is that I thought the phone might be a bit heavy because it puts a 5.7 in screen but that's not true the phone was very comfortable and Samsung did a very good job and it's actually when you hold the phone you do not see the weight of the phone so in terms of handling they have done a good job and uh I did play some casual games it ran them without any issues I also did some casual benchmarking with the phone and I got some top scores with that one thing I did notice is that in some of the benchmarks when I was running them again and again the back portion tends to get a little bit hot but we'll see that uh in uh future testing uh one thing I really liked about this phone is this back cover Samsung has changed that Samsung says it's fox leather and the feel of that is actually very different and let me show you this one now so this is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and let me bring my Samsung Galaxy S4 also nearby uh to give you an idea the S4 has a 5 in uh full HD screen but the note has 5.7 in screen that's also full HD both of them are Super AMOLED and defitely the note is a little bit bigger uh but uh I would say it's comfortable to hold but again don't expect that you can reach all parts of the screen easily with single hand uh you need to stretch your hands up and down to reach all parts of the screen because it's a big phone and by just looking at the phone it look very similar to Samsung phones but Samsung has done some minor design changes with the Note 3 like they have made it a little bit more rectangular if you notice the S4 uh the corners are more rounded on the S 4 but here with the uh Note 3 uh it's more rectangular I would say and uh it looks actually nice we have the standard home button and two touch type capacit buttons at the bottom but the biggest departure is this back cover again it's fox leather let me see if the camera can capture it and we also have this lining over here it's design nothing else and the feel is actually very nice I would say compared to the standard Samsung plasticky back it's much better and yes it does provide a little bit more grip I would say so it's a nice thing I like it but again I don't know how well it'll hold uh in long-term usage uh but again it's nothing pure leather or genuine leather like that you can open this up and let me try it open so it's still that Samsung plasticky feel that you get it's really thin but they did a good job if you put it on it gives a good feel coming to the battery as you can see it has a massive battery that's a 3200 mamp battery with the Note 3 and you can add your micro SIM and a Micro SD card if you desire micro SD card up to 64 GB is supported and the good thing with the Note 3 is that the minimum internal storage that you get is 32 GB so that's a good thing so again I'll be testing the Note 3 a lot more in the coming weeks so stay tuned to my channel if you
