The World of Dakar and 911

I've got a question that I was asked by a friend, about base spec plus the Rally package is like 300 Swiss Francs, which is equivalent to 300K. Then you definitely gotta use it but you know what I mean, it's weird feeling like okay that's I don't know who's going to use it off-road because it's so expensive. Do people use the Orus's off-road? Good point. Yeah, but it's not a this is a quite. This is more off-road than the Urus. Exactly. So I think if you can afford a 300K 911 then you can afford to take it off-road. Yeah. But as you know, the problem is everyone that buys one of these nine wills... well, nine don't do it. No, they buy it to make money off. That's a harder topic but that's reality. People will buy it and sell it for 100k over price tag. And uh yeah. But that's why we have to do something. That's right.

Cold events fans call Avance code Vons okay. So we are currently uh somewhere. We are in Dakari well. I'm dakaring GT4 and GT3. Behind me are I think. I mean inspiring others to go off-road. So the Dakar's are raised right now that's as high as it would go. The 959 goes higher than that really yeah yeah really if you put the knife of mine has like a raised mode and I'm pretty sure it's higher than that. I'm going to show people how disgusting it is just kill some more later. Is that the lacquer? Yeah but these wheels these wheels look at that. It is the dirtiest GT4 and most scratched I've ever seen. I mean you know you've accomplished it something hmm.

Day three of my dacho trip in the south of France. Back on another Mountain Pass having an absolute blast on a new road that I've never heard of before. We are just exploring today simple as that. Have Alex Penfold with me somewhere and uh Misha is back with me again today again somewhere I think they're behind me. I'm not sure but we're currently looking for some photo locations to try and put this somewhere off-road today to take some nice pictures of it enjoy the roads and just explore which is actually what this car is about. South of France you can explore for weeks on end there are so many incredible roads here.

So today, I've actually left the suspension in the hardest setting because on the corners gets a bit uh tricky sometimes in this obviously this wasn't designed to go fast around a Tarmac corner. So right now I've got the suspension in its hardest setting and it is helping it's so fast though these roads. Just can't get enough of them. Need to come back in my GT3 down here. I mean, I'm just in the middle of nowhere but actually only one hour from Monaco. Wouldn't think it.

I am missing my GT3 and on the other hand, it's so fun on this because if you've ever been to this area you know in France General they like putting very big speed bumps everywhere. So it's been really nice not having to care at all about speed bugs here we are at the top. Amazing Road look at this oh off-road I can just there we go don't even have to think about it straight into the rocks I just love that rocks right? Yeah, don't hit that one on the left.

Oh thanks thank you finishing off today. We are continued up that mountain pass got to the top here and it is spectacular like all of it so far actually but this one was extra special how it looks and these tunnels Moon Rock tunnels on the on the bus extremely photogenic we are stopped and spent the last I don't know hour and a half taking pictures. I at the moment just love everything about this car oh okay French speed bumps oh yes no problem I'm going to need to adjust myself a lot when I jump back in my GT3 doing quite well with the attracting attention so far even the lovely lady on the back of the scooter your picture that lady even blew me a kiss for letting her across that you should always let people cross the road very nice sf90 yep back in Monaco finishing off today's Vlog by a quick blast up a back road quite bumpy however no problem in the Dakar just the camera shaking around I've got my friend Misha in front of me who is a fellow 992 GT3 he has well we have the same exhaust I did not know my car sounds like that we both have the uh titanium exhaust it is cool here we go good to be back thank you Thai corner all blinded by the Sun and I've lost Misha we can do a few more turns okay why not a few more turns Sun is setting beautiful and now I miss my GT3 man that car is just perfect there's not a better car in the market I'm sorry no I would not take an RS over this this is the one to have this evening's uh sunset location we have the same exhaust same car hearing it when you're coming up then man it's Madness as I said best money ever spent in a car we were just saying before that we both would not change our 902 GT3 for an RS yeah I think that's a topic for maybe like a different conversation yeah that is for another one but in the quick terms yeah this is the best that it does it all yeah track daily yeah mountains Comfort everything space yeah and actually after spending like four days with the RS I started to feel that it's just too much it's too much for everything and I think this looks better it's like cleaner lines it's it's more of like this beautiful 911 silhouette like this yeah yeah you can be semi-discreet because you can't when people can't don't know anything about cars yeah for them it's like a 911 yeah exactly there's so many 911s out there so when they see this they're background Monaco and super cool up here it's nice right thank you day two of my Porsche DACA road trip and today apart from trying to catch up on some sleep this morning I'm now heading up pass thanks to Misha who is currently waiting for me on the top in his GT3 this cold browse it's an elevation of just over a thousand meters and the roads coming up to this were just spectacular it was a good 40 minutes of twisty roads and now I'm officially on the pass so today is just getting out having a bit of fun on a cool twisty Road in the Dakar screams when you bring it up to 7000 RPM or seven and a half thousand RPM before it goes into the red line super impressed with the sound they've managed to make this hot outside today and uh putting these big all-terrain off-road ties to the test on some hot tarmac but so impressed with how this car is doing this versatile is the word for this car I mean don't get me wrong you know bouncing around a few corners and if you start to slide but in a very fun way in a rally car way it's it's ridiculously impressive now on to the final bid back to back hairpins so this is just on the other side from the colder torini which is a very famous Road there is a a nice crowd on the top and a guy going up on his electric skateboard foreign one thing I've been really enjoying is just literally throwing off-road like this not having to worry oh is it safe am I gonna touch the front lip just throw it off the road there's the guy on his electric skateboard all the way out the past that's impressive that that small skateboard oh there was a cyclist on um my side of the road lucky I wasn't going too fast then what I wanted to do is capture Mr driving back up here to do a sound check because for me it's also super interesting of course both having the same car same exhausts but we both had no idea it's that loud outside just from the titanium Muffler spectacular and now even more than ever I cannot wait to go home to drive my GT3 now I know it sounds like this on the outside I had no idea thank you Mommy foreign so how loud do you think your car was I don't know it's so hard to drive dude it's so you can hear like minutes away for sure yeah yeah like ahead of the car like I know that people can hear when the car arrives yeah totally not talking about people that are like behind no that's even crazy it's you know those those Corners so I'm driving ESC off really yeah traction control is still on right and you can't make it slide first gear I could hear you were in first gear in one corner first flat foot down 8 000 RPM yeah the car doesn't move crazy it's insane how much grip this has watching we should drive now I'm like I need to get out my GT3 and start pushing this bad boy yeah for sure I really do just not in Switzerland no foreign I know it says that but it's really expensive 9 11. so but it lifts another 30 millimeters yeah apparently if you put it into um rally mode it should go up now I have a nice portion of Switzerland if I can do this I think that'd be fine with it it's a Dakar so we found this uh area up here I'm gonna show you guys quickly you go there you go full send 50 kilometers an hour and we see how far I get out so he'll climb off-road Hill Climb yeah good I think we could do it do it I think it might be the last car portion Switzerland ever give me for sure for sure but so I think I'll pass
