The Cooling System of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT Overclocked Edition

The cooling system of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT overclocked edition is absolutely huge, as shown in an exploded view on their website. It's impressive how they cooled this down using the wind force technology.

One thing to note is that both cards have RGB logos and fans, but the 5700 XT has a fan stop feature. The RGB logo on the 5600 XT is not present on this card, which is interesting.

Overall, the card feels heavy and well-built, with a great quality fit and feel that Gigabyte is known for. The new design of the RX 5000 series has a sleeker look, but some people might find it bubbly. The 5600 XT does not have RGB lighting.

This card is specifically designed to be on par with the 5700 XT, which makes it an interesting choice. AMD recently released an update for a list of cards, including the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT overclocked edition. I grabbed this card because it was on the list and I wanted to test its performance.

I'm planning to do a full review of the card, starting with testing it in stock mode. If possible, I'll also update the BIOS to see if it improves performance. It would be interesting to compare this card to the 5700 XT, which I might get in the future to test directly.

For now, I've opened up the box and shown you the card's components. My buddy recently bought a Sapphire RX 5700 XT, and he mentioned that the fans on his card are smaller than expected. I'm curious to see how this card performs compared to other models.

Overall, I think Gigabyte has done a great job with this card, and it feels like a quality product. The build quality is good, but there's one thing that caught my attention - the fan design.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello people and welcome back to the last game hunter today of course like any other day I'm excited and the reason for that is well pretty much all of my gear except for one small thing is here but that small thing can be done later so that's kind of cool but it's not gonna stop me from getting the build started so what I'm talking about of course is some parts that were needed for my new gaming computer yeah the unfortunate part is I wanted to do an open box on everything so it's like a kid in a candy store gimme gimme gimme I'm not being able to get it cuz mommy said no so guys I'm a grown man I don't think that way yep I do so like any grown man the toys just get more expensive I guess it's the words people say the boy doesn't grow up right so what I'd like to introduce to you today is my new video card the guys I want to introduce you to the gigabyte 5600 XT the guys I've been waiting for this for quite a little while now the card was literally backordered I don't know if I waited three weeks for it I had so longest time I've ever waited for anything but in our wonderful day and age that we're in right now we have to expect that as this is not a priority but for me to get my computer built it sure was so anyway let's sit back relax and if you're not subscribed to the channel you're gonna want to cuz you're gonna want to see this new computer guys I'm going all out the best I can for you guys and for me of course it's always for me it's for me mordin yeah it's good for your viewing pleasure and let's open this up take a look at it and see what you get when you buy the gigabyte 5,600 xt 6 gigabit overclocked edition that's right and this guy is on the new radar I'll explain that soon moment I've been waiting for that's cool gigabyte kind of shiny it into the box there so and another gigabyte shiny into the box there this is a box inside the box inside oh there's something in here protective thing oh my god all that for this this whole entire thing for that well that's a pretty big card I got to say I mean nothing small about that let's take a look at it qualified gigabyte sticker qualified so I guess if it was any other piece of tape keeping it closed it wouldn't be qualified like wouldn't want msi on a gigabyte or aces nothing those are bad brand names in this okay moment of moments well that's interesting look how small the fans are I'm not used to that gigabyte of course our TVs right here power connector fan header full gigabyte back aluminum plate which is great it stops that sag there's a nice little cover on here to protect the PCI Express slot and we have one HDMI and three display ports it seems to be the way things are going now it's DisplayPort with higher and monitors for your frame rates and so on so one thing I want to compare this to here we have the 5600 XT and here we have the rx 580 that are using all my bench tests and so on um pretty I guess way of looking at it this technically is being replaced by this if we have to go hand and foot because I would say the Ark's 5900 would be the 5700 if we want to look at it that way now we know that this card destroys this card we get it but this card still holds a really good ground and if you're looking for some cheap gaming around the 250 Canadian mark don't hesitate on our it's 55 80 because they do work very well but what I'm trying to get look at the size difference here what are the fans sizes this is what I expected I expected three of these instead we got three of these so I have no idea how that's going to work yet the card seems shorter like a narrower stance to it I don't know if that is just me it's a little maybe it's cause of the length so it's a tiny bit this is a tiny bit taller this card is is definitely beefier like thicker the cooling system is definitely absolutely huge if you've ever looked at one of these in an exploded view on their website I'll leave a link to their website if you want to see that but it's pretty crazy how they cooled this down and this is called your wind force technology in both these of course have the RGB gigabyte logos here this one has a fans stop this one does not not sure these light up I don't know if these two grooves are well I guess we'll figure it out later but there is the overall look it feels absolutely amazing it's definitely a heavier card by any means much heavier card it's the quality I expect the fit and feel of a gigabyte card they always feel good to me I've always enjoyed the look especially since the 480 up that was the I guess the redesign where they didn't look all bubbly and it had this a nice sleek look the look that I seem to like I don't think there's any RGB here at all the 5700 I believe has that you know category if you want to mount it this way in a computer this lights up in this case it's just here but this looks like an overall great card I guess this is the Andy Radeon rx 5600 XT overclocked addition by gigabyte so this is the card that I chose for certain reasons we'll get into that in another video and I'm just surprised that the fans are so much smaller now my buddy recently bought himself a card and it was about the same length everything and the same thing he commented that the fans were actually smaller and I thought that was interesting so I want to see how that works out for us so anyway it was just the open box video of the card and let me break down my comments hey guys so what do you think about the card I personally think that the card well as far as gigabyte goes I mean gigabytes or my boys you know I'm saying they make good gear I found the quality and the fit finish and build was there for sure a little messed up about the fan sighs that kind of caught me for a bit of a loop I know my buddy bought 5500 and talked about the same thing but I figured 5600 must be different than that but no looks like they're built on the same cooling idea or the principle of it of the gigabyte Radeon 5600 XT overclocked edition now there was a specific reason I mentioned that in the very beginning as to why I bought this card why did I not buy a 5700 or 5700 XT well this particular card was able to do the upgrade to be as a good performer to be on par with the 5700 now a few weeks ago or a couple weeks ago AMD launched a specific update for a numbered of cards so basically about 10 different cards so each manufacturer I guess got a card or a couple men a couple cards or whatever the case was this card was on the list and I grabbed it I haven't done the BIOS update yet from gigabyte so what I'm gonna do of course in a video I'm going to test the the card the way it is stock then probably I think there's a switch or a thing for boost mode or something I'll give that a shot and then we'll do the BIOS update hopefully it stays alive and then we'll give it a shot and see what the difference actually is now I may be able to get a hold of a 5,700 card in the future to actually try and put it up against the see how that actually works out so I know you guys seen a video before I opened the 5600 or sorry 5700 XT from sapphire should be able get a hold of that card and do a full on bench result and see what happens so let's see what happens in the future there now I can get this computer together for you guys and show you my gaming PC finally so I'm gonna get it together show you guys what I got why I did it a couple little mods that I've done to the seven hundred case to do a few things and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did so guys do not subscribe hit the bell for up-and-coming whatever's and don't forget to Like share and take care everybody stay safehello people and welcome back to the last game hunter today of course like any
