The Art of Organizing: A Peek into Detroit Borg's Desk Organizer
Hello and welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share with you a little secret that not many people know about me. You've probably seen me unboxing and using all sorts of iPhones, iPods, Apple accessories, and more in my previous videos, but have you ever wondered where they're all stored? Well, today, I'm going to show you exactly how and where I keep everything organized.
It all happens to be contained in this small little desk organizer with a little drawer and a bunch of Cubbies on top. So, let's start from the back and see how neatly I've been able to organize and keep everything out of the way. First, we have my iPad case since I only use it when I'm traveling or when I'm using it. It keeps it in the back. Next to it, I have my iPad keyboard dock and my wireless Apple keyboard. These are always within easy reach for me.
Moving on to the other side, we have two 120 gigabyte Western Digital portable hard drives. I use these for backing up all my files and storing extra storage space. Now, let's talk about the iPods. We have here my third generation iPod Touch, first generation iPod touch, and they're in cases. I keep them stored in cases when I do my videos. You might notice that some of them are still in their original packaging - those are the ones I haven't used yet.
Moving on to the other side, we have my 3G iPhone and my first generation iPhone. These are always within reach for me. Next to them, we have my fifth generation iPod Classic. This one's special because it started my Apple obsession, and I'm grateful for that. It might look a bit awkward with its cover over the scroll wheel, but I don't use it often enough to bother with taking it off.
We also have some newer models like the iPod mini, iPod Classic six gen, Apple remote, aluminum iPod Nano 6 gen, iPod nanel fifth gen, and more. Some of these even come with nice crystal cases that add a bit of style to my desk organizer. And, of course, we can't forget about my iPad and iPhone accessories - these include USB drives, flash drives, FireWire adapters, the Nike sensor, marware pouches, docks, power adapters, and more.
But wait, there's more! We also have some fun stuff like headphones, a flip minnow adapter, extra cables, and lots of earphones. These are all part of my vast collection of Apple accessories, and I'm always happy to share them with you in future videos.
Let's take a look at the pile I just pulled out from my desk organizer. As you can see, it contains a bunch of accessories that I've accumulated over time. We have some USB drives or flash drives, FireWire adapters, docks, power adapters, and more. Some of these items are still in their original packaging - those are the ones I haven't used yet.
First off, we have a bunch of USB drives or flash drives. These are great for storing extra storage space or transferring files between devices. We also have some FireWire adapters, which allow me to connect my old devices to newer computers. And then there are the docks - these come in different types and sizes, but they all serve the same purpose: keeping my devices charged and ready to go.
We also have a bunch of power adapters that fit different Apple devices. These are always within reach for me when I need to charge something quickly. Next to them, we have some iPod Shuffle accessories - these include docks, lanyards from older generations, and even a radio remote! The latter is still a bit of a mystery to me - it's supposed to get a radio signal to my iPod Classic, but I haven't tried it out yet.
As you can see, there are plenty of adapters up here that fit different devices. These include the DVI to mini DVI adapter, USB cables for my flip minnow, headphones, and even an extra power adapter or two. And, of course, we have lots of earphones - I've lost count of how many pairs I have, but they're always a welcome addition to my desk organizer.
But before I wrap up this article, I want to give a special shout-out to one item in particular: the iPad VGA adapter. It's an old friend that I still use from time to time, and it never fails to bring back memories of when I first started using iPads.
That's all for today, folks! I hope you enjoyed this peek into my desk organizer and got a better idea of how I keep all my Apple accessories organized.
