Airpods Pro Vs Pixel Buds 2 - Which is Better?

**Google Pixel Buds 2 vs Apple AirPods Pro: A Detailed Comparison**

As a user of both devices, I'll provide an in-depth comparison of the Google Pixel Buds 2 and the Apple AirPods Pro.

**Audio Quality**

I'm currently wearing the Google Pixel Buds 2, and this is what you can expect from them. Testing, testing, one two three... Can you hear my voice loud and clear? Yes, I'll be including the stadium crowd effect noise in the background starting out in three two one...

The audio quality is quite good, but I wonder if it might sound better. I'm now wearing the Apple AirPods Pro, and this is what you can expect from them. Testing, testing, one two three... I hope they sound pretty good.

They should be a step up from the previous generation, and yes, I will also be including the background noise and we're gonna see how they do with that. Ready, get set, go! Alright now we have background noise of a stadium, and hopefully it sounds pretty good still. You can just hear me talking...

**Features and Cool Things**

Both devices have wireless charging on them, and both have LED indicators on their case. They both do have touch functions for the Google Pixel Buds, which have a touch pad on the side with swipe gestures that are really nice. The Apple AirPods have a squeeze pad that has their own touch functions also.

They both do have ear sensors on them, and they both connect automatically when you pull them out of the case. They both have their own kind of software integration - the Apple AirPods having it for iOS, and the Google Pixel Buds having it for Android.

**Software Integration**

For the Google Pixel Buds, you can go here to adjust pretty much everything. It shows the battery, adaptive sound, this adjusts the audio volume based on the outside noise, ear detection, and more settings. One thing I really wish they had is ambient mode on them just like on the Apple AirPods Pro.

**Personal Opinion**

After using these two side by side for the last week, I'd say this is my conclusion: They are both high-quality devices. They both sound really good, but they both have good battery life in my opinion. I prefer the Apple AirPods Pro over the Google Pixel Buds mainly because they have noise cancellation and ambi mode - those are the two features that I really love.

The case of the Google Pixel Buds 2 is very small and compact, and easily fits in my pocket personally. But I just think the Google Pixel Buds 2 have better competitors like the Galaxy Buds Plus - they have ambient mode and pretty good noise cancellation, and they fit better in my ear too and sound better.

**Conclusion**

But one thing for the Google Pixel Buds is I do really like the touch functions - I really wish that the Apple AirPods and the Galaxy Buds had those. You just swipe to increase the volume, and it's really good feedback other than that they pretty much get beat in most of the other areas.

That's my opinion. Thank you all so much for watching this video! If you haven't yet be sure to get subscribed and if you'd like to check out these products the links will be in the description. Make sure to subscribe and peace.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what is up youtube welcome to the customventures alright so today i'll be comparing the airpods pro to the google pixel buds 2. i will be using the ca scoring method 2.0 to compare these two also all links to these products will be in the description also if you have any ideas on how i could improve my videos be sure to leave them in the comments and i'll be sure to go over them and check them out getting right into the packaging of the two they both come in little white boxes both having images of the headphones on the front for the sides on the airpods box they have apple logos for the pixel buds they have a google logo on one side with the image of the case on the other side on the back of the box the airpods have headphones in the case for the pixel buds they have image of a woman wearing pixel buds opening the two you get the pixel buds case right away for the airpods you get a little designed by apple and california insert and below that insert is the air pods pro in the case removing those you get extra ear tips for the pixel buds and below the extra ear tips is a charger and a manual for the airpods you get two pairs of extra ear tips and a charging cable now for the design of the case they both come in decently small cases both easily fitting in my pockets the pixel buds are covered in a matte texture that feels really cool the texture is really hard to explain but it feels really high quality the airpods have a shiny finish on them they both have led indicators on them the airpods only have one on the front the pixel buds having one under the plastic towards the bottom and one in between where the earbuds go they both have buttons on the back for the pairing the airpods pro charge via lightning cable where the pixel buds too charge via usb type c they both have wireless charging also they both have pretty satisfying lids personally i think the lid on the pros is a bit more satisfying pixel buds are slightly thicker than the airpods pros but they are about the same length and width wise now for the design of the earbuds they have pretty different designs when it comes to the earbuds the pixel buds looking like a mentos when they're in your ears where the earpods just have their infamous stem they both do have the in ear design so you can change out the rubber ear tips the pixel buds also have a little stem that helps to position the earbuds better in your ear they both have multiple ear sensors on them the pixel buds having one on the inner part and the inner part where the ear goes the airpods pro having one on the inner part and on the underside one thing to notice is the pixel buds have other grilles that help to add depth to the music so they don't depend on the main driver the airpods pro also have a few of these to help with their depth also for the touch functions the airpods pro have a squeeze pad on the side of the stem with haptic feedback with the touch functions on the airpods you can change it from the music and the and you can adjust the ambient slash noise cancellation for the pixel buds the little white mento shape thing is all touch sensitive for the touch functions and google made them really good for their touch functions you can change the song pause it some in google assistant you can also adjust the volume by swiping horizontally on them which is actually a really nice feature i find myself using this feature all the time when i'm at the gym and i just don't want to get to my phone so i just do a little swiping swipe works really well when it comes to the design of the earbuds i personally would pick the pixel buds now for the price of the two the airpods pro go for around 250 us dollars but with my link in the description you can get them for 20 bucks off the pixel buds 2 coming at 180 us dollars the pixel buds costing 70 dollars less than the airpods pro now for the audio quality of the two alright so after listing the two side by side for the last week i'd say this is my conclusion they both sound really good they both are very accurate and they're pleasing to listen to they both have good bass good highs good lows and they're both very crispy personally i prefer the sound quality on the airpods pro a little bit more than the pixel buds too i don't know what it is i think it just it just sounds a little bit more punchy and just sounds a little bit better to me in my opinion also another thing to notice is the pixel buds they don't have a very high max volume like the volume equivalency is like the air pods are like halfway and the pixel buds would be like to be the same as the airpods they would be like almost to the very top on the volume and that's kind of a downside to me i wish they would be a little bit louder and i also do wish they could have like an equalizer in their app that would help a lot but overall i prefer the air pods over the pixel buds for the audio quality now for the battery life of the two the airpods can get around 5 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case the pixelbuds 2 can get around 5 hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case now for the connectivity of the two alright so now we'll be testing the pairing and the connectivity between the two headphones we'll be testing them between ios and on android so we're going to start with the airpods pro first open the case hold button down press connect and you're paired just like that you also get your little display thing now for the pixel buds open the case hold the button down right there and then they are paired now we'll test the connectivity speeds between the two we're gonna start with the pixel buds ready get set go all right that's pretty quick airpods pro now for on android this is google pixel 3. all right here we go you just open the pixel buds on these ones hold the button down you get a little thing on the top right here and you're connecting now they're paired so kind of like ios integration with the airpods just on android now for the airpods pro hold the button down wait for them to pop up for some reason my airpods pro don't want to connect to the google pixel right now but essentially you just pair them through here just like you would like the pixel buds on ios now for the my quality of the two all right so at yours right now are the google pixel buds two and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope you can hear my voice loud and clear and uh yeah i'm just gonna tap the side of the earbud just to make sure it's coming from the microphones on board the pixel buds and yeah it seems like they are also i'll be including the stadium crowd effect noise in the background starting out in three two one through pretty well but i wonder if it might sound better all right so in my ears right now are the airpods pro and this is my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good um they should be a step up from the previous generation and yeah i will also be including the uh background noise and we're gonna see how they do with that ready get set go alright now we have background noise of a stadium and hopefully it sounds pretty good still and you can just hear me talking and uh yeah so testing testing one two three turn the volume up even more as high as it can go and uh yeah let's go now for the features and cool things they both have wireless charging on them they both have led indicators on their case they both do have touch functions for the pixel buds they have a touch pad on the side and it has these swipe gestures that are really really nice the air pods have a squeeze pad that have their own stay with the galaxy buds or the airpods pro also for ios the airpods pro have their own little software integration with the ios pretty much you can change the name noise cancellation transparency you can adjust the tap and hold functions on the earbuds ear tip fit test automatic ear detection microphone any other settings you also have you also have location services and integration with icloud now for my personal opinion after using these two side by side for the last week i'd say this is my conclusion they are both high quality devices they both sound really good they both have good
