A Weekend with La Familia: A Vlog of Love and Laughter

As I sit here reflecting on this weekend's events, I am filled with joy and gratitude for the love and laughter that surrounded me. My day began with a conversation with my kids about their excitement for our upcoming train ride, not just the actual train ride, but also the idea of buying David a new train to take on our backyard adventures. "Oh really you bought him the train" was met with delight and enthusiasm from both of them, as they eagerly awaited the next week's event.

As we settled into our routine for the day, I couldn't help but think about Mom's gift - a sturg train ride not just any ordinary train ride, but one that would bring us all closer together. "Cool thank you for that" was my response, and as we embarked on this new adventure, I knew that it was going to be an unforgettable experience.

However, our plans were soon disrupted by the realization that Mom's gift was actually a metaphorical sturg train ride - one of family bonding and quality time together. "Go you are a woman right" she said with a smile, as we spent the day exploring and enjoying each other's company. The ACs were on full blast, keeping us cool and comfortable, but also bringing up memories of past conversations.

As the day went on, we had some unexpected moments, like when my car needed a bath - literally! A can was pulled from a neatly organized pile, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of giving my ride a spa day. My friend Dan's arrival brought more laughter and excitement to the table, as we reminisced about past hangouts and made plans for future adventures.

One of the highlights of our gathering was a fun conversation with Kitty Maui - yes, that's his name! He seemed to be enjoying himself immensely, even when I had to take a break to prepare lunch. "Time to eat" he knew exactly what that meant, as we sat down to enjoy a delicious chicken dinner in gravy.

As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but think about how much I loved sharing this experience with my family and friends. It's not often that I get to say goodbye to my "peeps" in such a fun way, especially when it comes to vlogging - something I've been doing for months now.

I have to admit, though, that I didn't quite live up to my own expectations for this weekend's Vlog. Despite the enthusiasm and excitement of our gathering, I found myself struggling to find the energy and motivation to keep going. Perhaps it was just a side effect of the heat and humidity that seemed to permeate every corner of our little corner of the world.

In any case, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Dan for making the effort to come all the way from Paulsboro (which, might I add, is no longer an hour and a half away as it once was). And of course, thanks are in order to Mom for her thoughtful gift - even if it wasn't exactly what we expected.

at Target it was cheap too on sale like 30 something dollars really cheap not the most high quality table but you know what it works and it gives us room to put an umbrella in the middle boom got them four chairs going and we got plenty of room over here for people to chill in case you know one day we do have a party or something but yeah lot of progress and I'm definitely happy with the outcome we still have a little bit of work to do such as staple down the carpet but we'll do that's today or tomorrow or maybe even Sunday we have all weekend because the parentals actually got here last night Thursday you know just to get a head start because we're actually doing the train today Strasburg railroad at 12:00 we have tickets for I think the lunch car we've never done the lunch car before it's exactly what it sounds like you eat lunch on the train car well one of the train cars which should be pretty cool and shout out to friend Alicia Patton I believe we are finally going to meet you today setup besides the iPad Pro I'll talk about that a lot this weekend is this this bamboo monitor Riser look at this not only does it rise the monitor or raise it but it's a riser anyway um it gives me room underneath here to store things such as my 12.9 in iPad Pro and things on top like my Magic Mouse which I think just looks great there my pens including my apple pencil so when it's not charging which is right there my charging dock I can just drop it into here this is a place for a coffee mug I don't think I'll be using it for that just cuz I'm afraid of it staining but hey it's there if I need it for maybe even things like a glass of water and this is my fake plant that I got from Target last week I love it so guys there you go there's an early look at my iPad Pro setup I am quite proud of it and don't worry I will be featuring my iPad Pro plenty throughout the Vlog look at it rose gold is that not hot dear God this is the best iPad in my opinion that Apple has ever created just downright beautiful and performance is insane okay so I talked about this my unboxing but guys I'm so serious when I say this you need to experience the iPad Pro promotion display in person even if you're not some techy click I am I think you'll appreciate the jump from 60 HZ to 120 HZ you're essentially doubling your frame rate which just makes an incredibly huge difference it is my favorite feature of this new iPad Pro it's that good little bit of Squirt action all right so what's the uh plan for this weekend besides you having a look at this dramatically lit face sorry this is kind of scary looking anyway so today like I said we're going to the shbg railroad at 12: for the lunch card should be fun get plenty of video then throughout the day I guess we're just going to chill here maybe do house stuff and then we're going to Shady Maple morgas board tonight and then I think maybe probably between like 6:00 and 7: tonight we're going to the uh shaded Maple smorgas board I am indeed treating J puff to dinner if you guys don't know what a smorgas board is it's like a glorified Buffet like a lot of food um it's all like Homestyle cooked it's just incredible uh tasting food I love it and then I guess after that hopefully we'll hit up sheets for some cin poppers that sounds good then tonight I'll probably do rocket league with the peeps Call of Duty Grand Theft Auto whatever guess tomorrow night I will definitely not be gaming uh since it's our monthly hangout yes Dam MC cormick is coming over tomorrow night after work I cannot wait I haven't seen him in like a I just hope there's a lot of depth to it I don't know I just I just really hope it's not like constant punching and dodging I hope there's actually a strategy to this and I've heard it's more in depth than you think it would be uh so I'm intrigued unfortunately I never got around to playing the test drive or whatever they called it I forget already because I was at Driftwood one weekend then I was at Avalon the next weekend and then I I just I just get distracted on the weekends so I bought this for myself I figured why not boom hopefully I'll find time to play that today and in this package should be some speakers yes $15 two watt speakers okay so you probably think oh my God David's losing his mind how does he go from these nice audio engine A2 Plus speakers and the vanu transpar one speakers to crap like this well I hate to tell you guys this but I'm broke I'm officially closing my channel I'm quitting the internet and I have to get a real job so basic I'm I'm kidding I I don't even know why I go into things like that I'm I'm sure I fooled at least one person no I'm actually I'm actually doing quite well and I'm fortunate for that so thank you uh but you know what these speakers they light up that's all I care about and apparently the reviews that I read are actually kind of decent considering the ridiculous $15 price tag so basically you can plug these in via USB um for power which is perfect for what my setup is over here and you can get your audio through 3 and a half millimeter so yeah I got these speakers specifically for this setup allow me to explain real quick all right so basically these speakers are going to go maybe even under here I don't know that would look kind of crowded they're probably going to go on the sides of the bamboo stand and the USB power will be from from this little thing isn't that awesome it's just so convenient to have power up here in terms of both traditional power outlets and uh USB So in theory these should be plug and playay and the audio will come out of here which is already receiving video and audio thanks to my chomecast I love that little thing so yeah just another step in completing this new setup of mine also I have a smart cover coming today from Apple like an official smart cover for my iPad Pro 10.5 I'll explain why later all right so I'm going to unbox these real quick again they're probably crap but that's okay and I'll link them right below I mean if you guys want them again $15 speakers I just got them because they're small and they have lights and it's going to make my setup look pretty sweet so it's the arva or arva whatever sp16 I will link them right below on Amazon oh my God I have phones bigger than these speakers by the way I'm not really dissing them I'm just kind of joking around these could actually be pretty decent for the price packaging is a little gheo but you know what it is what it is guys you can't have everything in this world but then again this is coming from the guy with three iPad Pros which by the way can I just rant in a friendly manner real quick here we go some people are saying David you don't need that 10.5 in iPad Pro yeah I don't need it but you also don't need that pack of cigarettes you just bought this morning or that sixpack of beer you're buying tomorrow night or that video game you just bought yourself or this video game I just bought myself but isn't life all about enjoying yourself we're all going to die someday so it's not like we can take our money with us we're going to be buried six feet under we're cremated if you want to go that route which I'm actually a fan of really I am then that that's it we're living life what what is such what why why is it such a big deal that I buy myself a new iPad Pro and I hate to say this but is it jealousy because it's really none of your damn business what I buy myself I just happen to put my unboxings out for the world to say because that already has like 12,000 views and I love that thank you but just because I unbox something new that I spent my hard-earned money on doesn't give you the right to judge me and a lot of people seem to forget this I make my money back within weeks of any big purchases like that that iPad Pro is a business expense even these cheap speakers are a business expense I quite literally need to spend a certain amount of money every year and I can expect I'm not going to generalize but maybe I will just okay here we go I say this in the nicest way possible I think a lot of those comments come from children who don't understand how the business World works now I am all about transparency so I am going to tell you how much I spent on expenses in the past few years are you ready for this this is me being transparent not every content creator does this but I take a lot of pride in transparency default account I need to delete that I don't know what that is because I set it up my iPad Pro so it created something anyway so in 2015 I spent $10,000 and6 on expenses again that's like supplies um stuff you see in my videos like my MacBook Pro I actually got in 2015 so that's an expense uh my monitors keyboards m whatever so yeah uh 2016 I spent $1 13,28 big jump right I spent $3,000 in addition to 2015 I think that's pretty good and 2017 I've already spent $1,052 all of those are business expenses and if I did not buy things like the iPad Pro or eventually the next Mac Pro I would owe money on taxes you have to balance your income with expenses and again I can't expect everybody to understand that but please take my word when I say this I buy things for a reason I don't spend money just to spend money I'm a self-employed content creator I'm a business owner I need to spend money on certain things otherwise I'll be owing thousands to the government and believe me I used to back in the day until I got smart so there's my business advice and actually just life advice in general stop judging others it's my money not yours my iPad Pro not yours my house not yours my channel not yours so you get the point God I probably sound like an but it's just I'm I don't know I take I take a lot of pride in being transparent I'm extremely outspoken and yeah got I went from with speaker unboxing to ranting about my purchases but guys it's it's the truth just just relax you only live once the parentals are back with iPad and some of you may have mocked me for that but no when I buy a tablet that is over $700 I want a good quality Case Apple tablet Apple case and even with that said it's not technically a case it's a cover which is fine and that's another thing I really want the back to be um exposed oh God which I used to not be a big fan of but my uh 9.7 iPad Pro looks so good with the back exposed so this is the same exact idea but in 10.5 in form factor boom love it and this was 51 something with tax which isn't bad and I have a Raceway a cable Raceway Runway whatever they call it for cable management for my iPad Pro setup that was delivered by UPS over there so I will show that shortly yeah there it is not bad right not bad I like it I like it a lot I like it I got to publish the pages but I wanted to do something interesting today for you guys so this behind me yeah iPad Pro setup so I figured why not give you an early look there's definitely audio in both channels just the left one is more dominant than the right cor an entire desk set up to my iPad Pro and just creativity in general I wonder if I can change the balance on the monitor that could be the issue I'll look into it I'm just happy to have audio and this is another piece to completing my iPad Pro setup all right now let's move over to this setup guys I need to show you this you're not going to get like the true motion of the uh promotion display but you need to believe me this is the smoothest tablet I have used in my life again we're going from 60 frames to 120 frames per second this makes my MacBook Pro look bad this makes my LG monitor look bad this makes my other iPad and my other iPhones look bad so I really hope this is kind of like the retina display all over again and by that I mean I hope Apple incorporates promotion into all future Apple product designs because it is that nice even if you don't care about tech and whatever believe me this is something you need to experience for yourself it is like stupidly smooth and of course the same thing goes for opening apps it's just incredibly incredibly fluid if Steve Jobs are still around I think he would be proud of this because it is so nice okay I'm done obsessing over that for the next two minutes because I'm going to unbox this I have not purchased a smart cover since last March for my iPad Pro 9.7 so here we go finally I can actually use this more I don't have to be as careful add col very very nice and I think gray goes pretty well with rose gold I almost went with white but white gets incredibly dirty and I wanted to try something different so as always when you open up the case or the cover boom display goes on and you shut it the display shuts off love it nothing new but still convenient as hell look how classy that looks and it's so nice I love Apple products so much really like they they push the industry forward in terms of product design the tablet Market would not be where it is today if it wasn't for the iPad this has changed everything as has the iPhone as has the Apple watch as has the iPod so yeah it's no accident that Apple has dominated four product categories it's no accident just saying I love you Apple just had my leftover chili for lunch it's actually pretty good and I'm not usually a big chili person getting ready to cut the grass airpods are a necessity love my airpods sometimes I think Apple should be paying me for all the plugs I just give them randomly time to go get this grass cut and honestly it feels so much like Saturday it does not feel like Friday at all thought I was going to go that route because I'm not always a big fan of motion controls but in this case they work really well uh Pro controller compatible yeah so if you want to use a Pro Controller you can but I recommend using the joy-con and starting out on easy that is the best way of learning otherwise like I said you're just going to be very very frustrated and put down and you're just going to feel like you suck at the game but yeah it's surprisingly fun um it's somewhat in depth it's not the kind of game I see myself obsessing over but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I was is right there my charging dock I can just drop it into here this is a place for a coffee mug I don't think I'll be using it for that just cuz I'm afraid of it staining but hey it's there if I need it some techy click I am I think you'll appreciate the jump from 60 HZ to 120 HZ you're essentially doubling your frame rate which just makes an incredibly huge difference it is my favorite feature of speakers to crap like this well I hate to tell you guys this but I'm broke I'm officially closing my channel I'm quitting the internet and I have to get a real job so basic I'm I'm kidding I I don't even know why I go into things like that I'm I'm sure I fooled at least one person no I'm actually I'm actually doing quite well and I'm fortunate for that so thank you uh but you know what these speakers they light up that's all I care about and apparently the reviews that I read are actually kind of decent considering the ridiculous $15 price tag so basically you can plug these in via USB um for power which is perfect for what my setup is over here and you can get your audio through 3 and a half millimeter so yeah I got these speakers specifically for this setup allow me to explain real quick all right so basically these speakers are going to go maybe even under here I don't know that would look kind of crowded they're probably going to go on the sides of the bamboo stand and the USB power will be from from this little thing isn't that awesome it's just so convenient to have power up here in terms of both traditional power outlets and uh USB So in theory these should be plug and playay and the audio will come out of here which is already receiving video and audio thanks to my chomecast I love that little thing so yeah just another step in completing this new setup of mine also I have a smart cover coming today from Apple like an official smart cover for my iPad Pro 10.5 I'll explain why later all right so I'm going to unbox these real quick again they're probably crap but that's okay and I'll link them right below I mean if you guys want them again $15 speakers I just got them because they're small and they have lights and it's going to make my setup look pretty sweet so it's the arva or arva whatever sp16 I will link them right below on Amazon oh my God I have phones bigger than these speakers by the way I'm not really dissing them I'm just kind of joking around these could actually be pretty decent for the price packaging is a little gheo but you know what it is what it is guys you can't have everything in this world but then again this is coming from the guy with three iPad Pros which by the way can I just rant in a friendly manner real quick here we go some people are saying David you don't need that 10.5 in iPad Pro yeah I don't need it but you also don't need that pack of cigarettes you just bought this morning or that sixpack of beer you're buying tomorrow night or that video game you just bought yourself or this video game I just bought myself but isn't life all about enjoying yourself we're all going to die someday so it's not like we can take our money with us we're going to be buried six feet under we're cremated if you want to go that route which I'm actually a fan of really I am then that that's it we're living life what what is such what why why is it such a big deal that I buy myself a new iPad Pro and I hate to say this but is it jealousy because it's really none of your damn business what I buy myself I just happen to put my unboxings out for the world to say because that already has like 12,000 views and I love that thank you but just because I unbox something new that I spent my hard-earned money on doesn't give you the right to judge me and a lot of people seem to forget this I make my money back within weeks of any big purchases like that that iPad Pro is a business expense even these cheap speakers are a business expense I quite literally need to spend a certain amount of money every year and I can expect I'm not going to generalize but maybe I will just okay here we go I say this in the nicest way possible I think a lot of those comments come from children who don't understand how the business World works now I am all about transparency so I am going to tell you how much I spent on expenses in the past few years are you ready for this this is me being transparent not every content creator does this but I take a lot of pride in transparency default account I need to delete that I don't know what that is because I set it up my iPad Pro so it created something anyway so in 2015 I spent $10,000 and6 on expenses again that's like supplies um stuff you see in my videos like my MacBook Pro I actually got in 2015 so that's an expense uh my monitors keyboards m whatever so yeah uh 2016 I spent $1 13,28 big jump right I spent $3,000 in addition to 2015 I think that's pretty good and 2017 I've already spent $1,052 all of those are business expenses and if I did not buy things like the iPad Pro or eventually the next Mac Pro I would owe money on taxes you have to balance your income with expenses and again I can't expect everybody to understand that but please take my word when I say this I buy things for a reason I don't spend money just to spend money I'm a self-employed content creator I'm a business owner I need to spend money on certain things otherwise I'll be owing thousands to the government and believe me I used to back in the day until I got smart so there's my business advice and actually just life advice in general stop judging others it's my money not yours my iPad Pro not yours my house not yours my channel not yours so you get the point God I probably sound like an but it's just I'm I don't know I take I take a lot of pride in being transparent one is more dominant than the right cor an entire desk set up to my iPad Pro and just creativity in general I wonder if I can change the balance on the monitor that could be the issue I'll look into it I'm just happy to have audio and this is another piece to completing my iPad Pro setup all right now let's move over to this setup guys I need to show you this you're not going to get like the true motion of the uh promotion display but you need to believe me this is the smoothest tablet I have used in my life again we're going from 60 frames to 120 frames per second this makes my MacBook Pro look bad this makes my LG monitor look bad this makes my other iPad and my other iPhones look bad so I really hope this is kind of like the retina display all over again and by that I mean I hope Apple incorporates promotion into all future Apple product designs because it is that nice even if you don't care about tech and whatever believe me this is something you need to experience for yourself it is like stupidly smooth and of course the same thing goes for opening apps it's just incredibly incredibly fluid if Steve Jobs are still around I think he would be proud of this because it is so nice okay I'm done obsessing over that for the next two minutes because I'm going to unbox this I have not purchased a smart cover since last March for my iPad Pro 9.7 so here we go finally I can actually use this more I don't have to be as careful add col very very nice and I think gray goes pretty well with rose gold I almost went with white but white gets incredibly dirty and I wanted to try something different so as always when you open up the case or the cover boom display goes on and you shut it the display shuts off love it nothing new but still convenient as hell look how classy that looks and it's so nice I love Apple products so much really like they they push the industry forward in terms of product design the tablet Market would not be where it is today if it arms one easy mode though I mean this is nothing compared to the full game but I got to tell you the game is actually quite challenging hence why I just played it on easy mode all right so I'm generally pretty good at video games like I rarely find a game that I'm not good at um but I played this one easy like I said and honestly I think that's the best way of going about it because otherwise you're just going to be very frustrated especially you play with motion controls and in my opinion this is the way to do it I think it supports the Pro Controller I'm pretty sure and I thought I was going to go that route because I'm not always a big fan of motion controls but in this case they work really well uh Pro controller compatible yeah so if you want to use a Pro Controller you can but I recommend using the joy-con and starting out on easy that is the best way of learning otherwise like I said you're just going to be very very frustrated and put down and you're just going to feel like you suck at the game but yeah it's surprisingly fun um it's somewhat in depth it's not the kind of game I see myself obsessing over but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I was
