available for other I phones as well so you guys know that I have really loved the Rhino shield crash guard bumper for years because it is very minimalistic but has drop protection of 11 feet and I've made several videos in the past demonstrating that there are times though when it's nice to have something more protective and that is where this mod case comes in this case is really interesting because it starts how it adds a bumper but it can be transformed into a standard case with interchangeable back plates you can also customize the colors of the buttons or even customize the rim of the bumper if you want a contrast of color and then to top it all off if you like iPhone photography there is a lens adapter accessory that you can purchase to connect lenses to this case as well so it's really the whole package in protection so let me show you how it works so let's start off with showing you the bumper and how it installs and how it looks I find that installs easiest if you put the two corners in like this and then slide it over and it should install pretty easily then you can make sure that the rim is in place and I really like how this looks with this white contrast against the black and actually it's my favorite still this way as minimalistic as possible if you want to just keep it as a bumper instead of a full case you do have the option for a glass screen protector that we have here and I will show you what this looks like on with b-roll and you've also got a back protector as well so if this does hit the floor and if it hits the back or it hits the glass on the front it should still be just fine your overall protected so it's got a really nice grip to it I think that the volume buttons feel really really nice I don't know if it's something with the surface area of this larger button but I find it just a little bit harder to press but it still is very responsive I haven't had any issues with it so do take it off all you need to do is to hold at the corner and you can see that you can see these little teeth these little wedges it's quite easy to remove set it down and then after this it's very easy very little resistance to pop the phone out putting this case on and taking it off has not caused any damage or wear to my band at all in my phone this is the Space Gray model so I'm not worried about damage if you take a look at the inside of this bumper right here you can see we've got that honeycomb shape that helps with drop protection it give us a bit more of shock absorption and then you can see we've got these little notches so that is how these rims stay in place and also these back plates and you've got a very wide option of these back plates this one is kind of see-through you can see I've got a white one that's the same I've also got a marble white and a clear which came with the case so one will come with the case and then you can purchase others separately so if you're really into customization like I am this is probably the case for you so to pop out these buttons it's very simple just press them just like that and then you can choose from something else like these nice yellow ones oh there we go and I'm going to grab this back plate install it so you can see right here it says Rhino shield and you need to align that with the Rhino shield on the bumper as well this just helps you make sure you're applying it in the right orientation so then you just slip it in start sliding it over and just make sure that it aligns with all of the notches and there you go it is now transformed into a full case so if you're worried about bumpers and not having back protection this really does it for you so then it's the same thing to get this inside I find it easiest just to slide the two corners in and then slide it over and there it is so in order to take it off it's actually pretty easy you do that same thing you hold it up just a little bit and this is not going to stretch out the band in any way put your finger through and then just pop it out and then again it just comes out really easy with no resistance now the coolest part of this case I think is being able to install these lenses which you can purchase separately so here is just a little lens adapter just pop that in there it's nice and soft right here so it's not going to scratch your phone and then I do the same thing just slipping it in and there we go so now I want to take a peek at these lenses show you how to apply them you just need to pop off this little cap right here grab your phone you can see that there are little rings in here to help screw these in place just align it there you go let's pop off the lens cap and now we've got a nice wide angle camera as opposed to what is the field of view normally you can see that adds a much wider angle this one is probably my overall favorite lens especially if I go out blogging not only can I see a lot more of the environment that I'm trying to show but you can see a lot more of me as well it also comes with a lens hood in the box so this is a nice little kit and you can see it's this one right here the point 6 x HD wide-angle lens then we've got the macro and also it's combined with 8.65 x wide-angle lens this one's my next favorite this is really neat because if you in screwed is you've got the macro lens and I love taking nice up-close pictures then we also have a fisheye option and a super wide angle option which I believe is 165 degree field of view so if you love taking pictures with your phone this is also an option with this case and you don't have to get another case to make these lenses compatible which is really nice so I've also got my iPhone 8 plus right here so you can see what both of these look like so this is the black marble and the white marble and what I really like about these cases is that they add minimal bulk they're not as super slim fit case but I've played with a lot of different cases and these don't add too much bulk to them even with the backplate on I also want to note that whether you have it as a full case or just as the bumper you can set it down and it's going to wireless charge so the case does not interfere with wireless charging so as I wrap up I'm over all showing this to you guys because this is really really neat I like rhino shield and I love customizability and this just adds so many things all in one so just in the box you're gonna get your frame and your buttons you're gonna get a rim and a backplate and then everything else if you want to get different back plates or different colored rims or different colored buttons you can go and purchase those separately at rhino shields online store it's the same thing with the lens adapters and the lenses it's got a really snug fit it's super light these have not damaged my phone in any way you get over 11 feet of drop protection which I have tested myself in the past and it's also really cool that its food grade BPA and bps
