**Robo Snake 3D: A Modern Take on a Classic Game**

What is Robo Snake 3D? It's a full 3D version of the original game Snake and it's really pretty cool when you think that it wasn't that long ago that the only game most cell phones could play was Snake. But I mean, let me tell you this, Robo Snake 3D is everything Snake used to be and then some.

The concept of Snake is very simple: you're a snake who is constantly moving looking for food or in the case of Robo Snake 3D, batteries. The batteries randomly spawn in different places around the field and are kind of hard to spot because they blend into the surroundings. But there's a red glow around the batteries that really helps you spot them. As you eat more, your tail gets longer and the difficulty increases.

But there's also a twist in Robo Snake 3D in the form of climbable walls. There are two heights of walls, and one of which you can climb up to reach the taller wall after climbing down on a shorter wall. It sounds complicated, but it's actually a lot of fun. And then there are six different fields to choose from, each presenting its own set of challenges.

If you're partial to the old-style game, don't worry - there's also just one level with no walls at all, making gameplay practically identical to the original. The graphics in Robo Snake 3D are really fantastic, though. Everything is rendered in 3D, from the menu to the instruction screen.

Some people might be thinking that tilt controls would be a good idea, but personally, I think the touch controls are about perfect. Just swipe in whatever direction you need the snake to go. It's just so much easier than trying to use a joystick or something.

The really cool thing about Robo Snake 3D is how well it holds up against modern expectations. When was this game released? And what kind of cell phones could play games back then? Remember, you had to use a 258 and zero to move the snake around compared to this. Just swipe up, down, left, or right - it's just so much cooler.

While playing Robo Snake 3D, you'll notice there's a cool soundtrack that's kind of techno-like, which is exactly what you'd expect from a game like this. Overall, Robo Snake 3D brings together all the great elements of the original game but in a modern package for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
