iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak Update + 6.1.3 Exploit

iOS 6 and iOS 7 onto the Jailbreak Update: The Latest Developments

Hey guys, it's Apple Pro here, and I'm coming at you with an update on the iOS 6 and iOS 7 jailbreak. It's been a while since the last one, but that's because we haven't had too much progress information from the actual evader team and other people working on the onto the jailbreak. However, now they have released some new details, and it's actually really exciting to know that it is still being worked on and we're not actually being abandoned.

One of the things that's been discussed lately is iOS 6.1.3, which was initially thought to be untethered. I did tell you guys that there would be no jailbreak for this version, but it seems like someone has been working on an untethered exploit for it. However, this person only has it working currently on the iPhone 4 and it's not working properly. Despite the limitations, they do say that it could be possible to find an untethered exploit in iOS 6.1.3, which is great news.

On the other hand, the evaders team recently stated that they weren't making much progress with iOS 7. It's understandable that they're not making super fast progress because of the technical hurdles they need to overcome before they can find an exploit in the new firmware. However, it's worth noting that some old exploits from iOS 6 did carry over and might still be used in the upcoming jailbreak.

The most interesting part of this update is that the evaders team released an ETA for iOS 7 onto their jailbreak. This is unusual because they haven't done this before, but now with iOS 7 coming up, they're confident enough to say that within 3 to 4 months after the release, they will have an untethered jailbreak working and out to the public. However, I don't believe this ETA, as it's always been longer than what they say, and it hasn't been 100% accurate.

Even if the evaders team does manage to surprise us with a jailbreak for iOS 7, posx Ninja has stated that it wouldn't make sense to publish a jailbreak before the official release of iOS 7. This is because Apple would likely patch the vulnerabilities beforehand if they were able to get their hands on them. So, we won't be seeing a jailbreak for the beta version.

Looking ahead, everyone's excited for the upcoming iPhone 5s and 5c, especially the 5c. We're all curious to know how much functionality and power Apple can squeeze into a plastic cheaper budget iPhone. With an unsurmountable amount of rumors surrounding it, it's likely that we'll see some exciting features in these new devices.

In other news, I had a bit of a personal mishap yesterday - I was in a car accident, and if you unlocked your phone with me within the last couple of days, I wasn't able to complete the order. I'm sorry about that, but I do need help from all of you if you have an iPhone that needs unlocking from AT&T or any Australian carrier. If you'd like to support me, there will be links to my unlock service in the video somewhere below. Thanks for watching guys, and we'll wait and see what happens next with this jailbreak update.
