So, something I really like about Deepgram that actually surprised me and is different than any other place I've ever been to is the transparency.

I've worked in startups my whole career in Tech startups, and so when I came here, it was one of those things where it was just amazing to get access to the video recordings and to the slide decks which sounds maybe like something that you would expect, but to me it's just something that I found Deepgram goes above and beyond for. So, it's something that I really appreciate about the company. I joined Deepgram because it's a such an exciting place to be right now, the field of AI is exploding, and Deepgram is super well positioned to transition from having a great market share in automatic speech recognition and all the research that supports that to go into becoming a foundational AI company.

I think it's in the right place at the right time for all the research that's going to be needed to make this successful. Here at Deepgram, we have many Affinity groups, and it's really interesting to learn which groups there are but also finding that we have a lot relatable in the membership of those groups and with that comes a lot of opportunities to learn from those groups both with speakers inside but also guest speakers that we have who come in and you know teach us all these great things and all this history about those groups. Something I love about our culture at Deepgram is that we are all learning from each other at all times, our space moves so quickly and there's so many smart people here who can explain fun interesting new things to you.

I love catching up with my co-workers about what's going on in research or product or in data labeling new things that we're trying in the go to market space, so that's been great. I love working with such a team of talented intelligent people we're all based around the world and so I think we really have a good communication with each other although we're working remotely in different places and I'm able to really set my schedule how it works best for me and it's a big reason why I'm able to be so productive at Deepgram, and I appreciate that flexibility that I get.

Today's joint project has been great, I've worked on so many things in my short time here, um since then I've worked on things like language detection really exciting working on things like code switching which allows us to transcribe languages audio with multiple languages. I'm really proud of the results at Deepgram we think about benefits in three ways through supporting our team members in their holistic health, their work-life balance or blend and through continuous learning where do I see the future well by enabling seamless communication between humans and machines.
