I'm sorry for this car because it is so new 250 miles on the clock what a bitter road this is that's all these cars are about you find yourself a really nice little B Road with lots of sweeping bends I mean you just enjoy it and and the nice thing is you you're never gonna go stupidly fast don't get me wrong it's a pretty quick little car this but you can really push on and take yourself all the way up through the rev range and really drive the car and know that you're not gonna get into too much trouble and it's just the joy of driving for me that's what these little cars are all about and the soundtrack from that Akrapovic exhaust is just delicious they're low speeds it's so fruity that exhaust it's got this really lovely deep rumble and reverb - it's really really prophets I said it when I had the Ravalli you you drive one of these cars and don't have a massive Cheshire Cat grin within about five minutes seriously there's something wrong with you there's something medically wrong with you go and see your GP and have a check-up because these these cars just bring out the joy of driving in me I love them to bits.
The Cotswolds really are very pretty I love the Cotswold stone buildings and there's so many lovely little villages with beautiful high streets we can grab nice coffee or a beer or a giant onyx it's very cosmopolitan sadly won't be partaking in it in any of that today but a brilliant venue for this drive day from Bath huge thank you to them for inviting me it's one of those great opportunities to drive a range of cars sadly you never get very long in the car I've got this it's literally about a 10 mile route luckily it's roads I know and the thing I love about these little cars you can get in them and you can get comfortable in them really really quickly they just have this lovely kind of approachable nature to the mini they're not frightening or scary they're just really really good fun to drive she goes 4000 rpm indicators from the back the entrap of its bark just a brilliant little car.
Performance wise you got a little 1.4 turbocharged engine 180 horsepower that'll get you to sixty and six point seven seconds and the top speed of a hundred and forty miles an hour but honestly those headline figures aren't what these cars are about it feels way faster than that because it's so tiny as a car and the suspension setups really firm these dampers make a big difference actually they really do give you a nice racy edgy feel to the car and I like that a lot but it's about how it feels to drive and when you accelerate the noise and you just get it one with a car really quickly and it's certainly not shy of power that's for sure I love the fact that they can take these little five hundred body shapes and stick a whole bunch of power under the bonnet and just turn it into such a cracking little driver's car their boots are pretty decent size you've got to cut the seats in the back but we wouldn't want to try and get adults in there mind perfect for the petrol pup and the petrol pooch so you could easily daily this but honestly having a McGarrett and save it for a Sunday morning blast as that's what this car does so well.
So then guys what are my final impressions of this little Abarth 595 SS well pocket rocket that's the best way to describe this little thing it's got the biggest grin generator ever they're just brilliant things and making you feel so connected to the driving experience is such a visceral thing driving one of these I love it to bits yes the seats are a bit hard yes the driving positions a little bit quirky but you forgive all those things very very quickly you turn the ignition on and you're sticking in sport mode and you give it a bit of Yahoo run up this great bitter road I love this is called fish hill and it's a brilliant bin around this yo-you it rapidly fearless oh I love it to bits.
I need to say whose thank you to the guys at Bath UK for inviting me today for letting me get access to this car it was a big queue of people wanting to drive this guide so new literally not on sale yet as certainly as of today but it will be very very soon and I recommend it highly it's brilliant and he pulls like a train up this hill as well so anyway guys hope you enjoyed that if you have them so please give me a thumbs up comments below are always welcome maybe you haven't done so already please subscribe to petrol petrol plenty more content to come.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys and welcome to petrol pet and welcome to the beautiful Cotswolds well today I'm here with a bath UK and behind me is a very special little 595 this is the SS it's the first one in the UK it's mine for the next hour I thought you might like to take a look around it I can't wait to drive this little thing in 2009 the original SS was a tuning kit for the new Abarth 500 160 bhp lowered springs and upgraded brakes the new 5 9 5 SS will sit as the range-topping a bath with 180 horsepower Brembo brakes with vented front discs hide behind 17-inch Super Sport alloys in a new racing white finish it has a mechanical limited slip diff as standard the 70th anniversary range is characterized by a special anniversary badge and the number 70 on the seats inside of a stunning carbon backed sibel 70 sport seats finally the cony suspension makes the SS a truly sporty little number well guys welcome to the five nine five SS ii the bath I've driven now very important in this one we have the sport button and well that does does I cut the things but it's gonna give me a little bit more noise from that very very fruity a crap of inch exhaust now have driven a little about before I drove the 695 Ravalli and I really loved it I had that car for a week and I really didn't want to give it back I'm very excited about this one so basically we've got the same bhp as the Raval a 180 bhp I am actually in a part of the world that I know very very well because it's staying in a place or the whole events base in a place called the fish hotel which I'll stay that many many times on the farm estate and it's very beautiful up here so we've got some great roads to put this car through its paces straightaway is that familiar sound the thing I think I loved so much about the Ravana this is a great little hill this fish hill it's mighty steep as well you know me with my cycling girls I love to cycling back together the little Ravalli was such a cracking little car and this thing is it's got some very special pieces I've already mentioned the really nice suspension setup I love the white wheels drill discs really kind of sporty racy feel to it and then these seats not only do they look absolutely brilliant but they are super supportive really really nice they are quite firm but when you're buying a car like this see though for me I'll for you you've got to go for they look like and they do look absolutely face to face good everything's turning right Wiki here we go yes to about 4,000 rpm and it just barks away when you narrow line she's just such great fun and the driving position you know it it's you just get used to it the steering wheel needs to be closer to me because I have to be quite far away for the length of my legs but then you have to reach the steering wheel but to be honest you forgive it very quickly because the the sporty feel of this little thing nastic 5-speed manual box really nice tight throw on there as well these brakes have got a nice feel to them I do have to feel a little bit sorry for this car because it is so new 250 miles on the clock what a bitter road this is that's all these cars are about you
