Propel Star Wars Battle Drone Unboxing - T-65 X-Wing Starfighter & Tie Advanced X1
New Propel Combat Drones with Star Wars Branding Now Available
Hey everybody, this is Neil Hughes with Apple Insider and today we are taking a quick look at the new propel combat drones that have been branded with the Star Wars franchise. As you can see here, these come in limited-edition boxes that are wax-sealed on the sides and they're pretty fancy. The retail price for these drones is around $170, and they are now available for purchase in stores.
One of the coolest features about these boxes is that they are re-sealable, which means that every time you open them up, they play a different audio clip. As you can see here, when I try to open it one-handed, it does some pretty cool stuff. It's like having your own personal Star Wars experience right in the box.
As we take a closer look at the drones themselves, we have the propel T65 X-wing combat drone and the Star Wars TIE Advance X1 Battle Drone. Both of these drones are designed to look like their respective Star Wars characters, with intricate details and design elements that will appeal to fans of the franchise. The boxes are wax-sealed on the sides, which adds an extra layer of protection and authenticity to the product.
When we open up the box, we find a host of accessories and props that come with each drone. These include spare parts, propellers, and prop guards, as well as manuals that provide detailed instructions for use and maintenance. It's clear that propel has put a lot of thought into creating an immersive experience for fans of Star Wars.
Each drone comes with its own controller, which allows you to control the actual drones in the world or virtual drones in a game. This is made possible by propel's app for the iPhone, which allows you to use your physical controllers to control both real-world and virtual drones. This means that you can get comfortable flying before taking to the skies, and it also provides an additional level of realism and immersion.
Propel has stated that they will have more information on these drones in the coming days, including a special guest appearance by Florio. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out our price guide, which makes it extremely easy to find the best deals on Apple products updated daily.
