The Day Before the End of the World: A Charity Stream for Toys for Tots
Tomorrow is Thursday, December 20th, 2012, and we're going to be live streaming on Twitch.tv/boox for charity. We're excited to announce that we'll be raising money for Toys for Tots, a wonderful organization that brings joy to children in need.
We were originally planning to buy some toys ourselves, but we missed the deadline. So, instead of just buying a few gifts, we decided to donate all our money straight to Toys for Tots. We're doing it all in one pot, which means anyone can donate any amount they like - $50 cents or more. This way, even if you can only spare a little, you can still make a difference.
One of the things that excites us about this stream is that we want to be able to track exactly how much money is being raised. We'll have a chip in box below the stream where you can donate, and after you do, or even if you just want to come hang out on our website without donating, you can enjoy a nicer layout. It's going to be an all-day kind of thing, so feel free to drop by whenever you like.
We'll have tons of giveaways and free stuff for just hanging out in the chat. We're not expecting everyone to stay for the whole stream - we know people are busy - but it would mean a lot if you could join us. If you do decide to stick around, you can keep the chat active by supporting us, which will help attract more people and make our community even more special.
We're particularly passionate about this charity stream because of what's happened recently in the world. There have been so many tragedies and heartbreaks, and it's easy to get caught up in all the negativity. But we want to focus on the good things - the charities that are doing amazing work to make a difference in people's lives.
Toys for Tots is one of those organizations that we admire greatly. They do such important work bringing joy to children who might otherwise go without it. We know that our donation will go towards something truly worthwhile, and that feels amazing. Plus, if you donate, you'll get an exclusive item - a brand-new, never-before-seen design from K, which is only available to donors. It's a small token of appreciation for your kindness.

to just because you know there there's so much evil in the world there's so much things to be heartbroken and to cry over but I think it's it's good to focus on those good things the Charities and all
