**In-Depth Review: BitFenix Nova Mesh TG Case**
Building a system with the BitFenix Nova Mesh TG case was an experience that would have been different if not for its unique design and tempered glass front panel. In this review, we'll dive into the specifics of the case's performance, both in terms of temperature management and aesthetics.
**Tempered Glass Front Panel: A Mixed Bag**
The tempered glass front panel is a notable feature of the Nova Mesh TG case. However, it also presents some challenges. The lack of proper LED diffusion creates hotspots on either side of the glass, which can be visually unappealing. Moreover, the overall design may not appeal to everyone, making it a bit divisive.
One aspect that sets this case apart is its excellent build quality. It's clear that BitFenix has invested significant time and effort into crafting a solid product. The interior of the case, in particular, is noteworthy – it offers an impressive balance of proportion and functionality.
**GPU Temperatures: A Surprising Finding**
When it comes to GPU temperatures, the Nova Mesh TG case did not disappoint. In fact, our testing revealed that the front panel's impact on CPU temperatures was relatively minimal, with a 10% increase in temperature observed. The high-quality fans installed in the front also play a significant role in mitigating this effect.
**Performance and Temperatures**
Our performance tests yielded some impressive results, considering the unique design of the case. We were able to build a system that would have been challenging to assemble in other cases due to the tempered glass front panel.
The overall temperature performance was satisfactory, with the GPU temperatures barely rising during intense gaming sessions. The CPU, however, saw a slight increase in temperatures, likely due to the heat generated by the fans.
**Aesthetics: A Matter of Personal Preference**
Ultimately, the aesthetics of the Nova Mesh TG case are subjective. Some viewers may find its unique design off-putting, while others will appreciate its individuality. As an American viewer, I can relate to the term "Marmite" – a yeast spread that people tend to either love or hate.
In conclusion, the BitFenix Nova Mesh TG case is a testament to the company's commitment to innovative design and exceptional build quality. While it may not appeal to everyone due to its unique aesthetic, those who appreciate its individuality will find it an excellent choice for building a PC.
**Recommendation**
If you're willing to take a chance on a case that may be divisive in its design, the Nova Mesh TG is definitely worth considering. With some tweaks to the front panel and color scheme, BitFenix might have created a more broad appeal product. Nonetheless, as it stands, this case offers an impressive balance of performance, aesthetics, and value.
**Final Thoughts**
Building a PC with the Nova Mesh TG case was a unique experience that showcased the importance of attention to detail in design. While some viewers may be turned off by its design, others will appreciate its individuality. With proper tweaking, BitFenix has created a product that's sure to please those looking for an exceptional case building experience.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enoh so much glass today we're gonna have a look at the dawn TG a case with a huge amount of tempered glass by BitFenix now I really like this case but I'm also not entirely sure how I feel about it so we'll get into that a bit more later but before we do that let's have a look at the case and see what kind of features were working now when you start off with the front you get well a solid piece of tempered glass now gauging by all of the other cases that were announced at CES it seems like solid front panel cases are slowly going out of fashion because while everybody complains about high temperatures so I don't know BitFenix may have missed the bandwagon here a bit but if you move on to the left side you'll see that there's quite a lot of ventilation which has big enough holes in it for actual air to go through and then at the bottom of the front panel there's also a fairly big gap but hopefully the fans aren't too choked and you'll get decent kind of airflow in this case and then we're moving to the back of the case there's another tempered glass panel and you can see it's got this interesting square pattern on it now there's actually RGB LEDs in the edge of the case panel which light up these the this pattern when looking at the top of the case you've got some pretty good ventilation here it comes with either a magnetic dust filter or there's also like a solid plastic thing that you can put up to kind of like block all the airflow up there if you look under there you can put a 240 or a 280 millimeter radiator in that slot and it's kind of offset to the side so it shouldn't interfere with RAM clearance let's have a look at the front io which is actually really good you've got 2 USB 3 ports and a USB 3.1 type C port and then you also have a removable dust filter there's kind of space for 320 millimeter fans so you can actually put a 360 a i/o in the front of this case and it comes with two pretty good fans in the front that aren't RGB because well the front panel isn't transparent and then you've got an RGB fan in the back so with that let's move to the inside of the case and see what that looks like you get this kind of like two SSD caddy thing that you can attach to the full-length PSU cover I'm not a huge fan of the way that looks so I immediately took it out there's another one in the back of the case on the back of the motherboard tray so you can use that one instead the one in the back is a bit wobbly it sits there fine like it's not gonna fall out but it's not as sturdy as you'd like it to be when looking at the motherboard tray it's very open plans to this space for anny ATX motherboard in there and there's more than enough grommet and holes to route cables through and then under the power supply shroud there's actually space for two normal hard drives even with a big power supply like this 850 watt one you still have a lot of room for cable management and to stuff things in when it comes to the PCI Express slots there's very good clearance even for a big screwdriver and it comes with a vertical GPU mount the vertical GPU mount is actually very well designed because it sits quite far away from the glass so it shouldn't choke your graphics card finally there's a tempered glass on both sides like I mentioned on the back it's tinted really dark so it's very difficult to see cables through there but there is actually like a like a cable cover that you can use to hide all of your cables under there the two tempered glass panels are really thick they're very heavy one small issue that I have with them though is they've got these two captive thumb screws to actually screw them in place but there isn't any kind of like guidance rail or anything like that so it means that it's really difficult to line the panel up with the screw holes and actually mounted properly and every time that you unscrew it and unmount it the kind of side panel like it feels like you're gonna drop it on the ground so before I talk you through what it's like to actually build a system in here let's just have a look at what this system looks the building experience in this case was almost perfect it really was very good in there's only one or two small complaints that I had one of the biggest things for me with this case is that it passes the darvid case test with flying colors now if you don't know what the Dobbin case test is basically if you have a big CPU tower cooler installed you should be able to easily get your hand behind it and plug the CPU power cable into the motherboard now pretty much no cases that aren't full ATX cases pass this and this passes it with flying colors I have a 240 millimeter radiator with two fans on and the clearance is perfect it doesn't interfere with the vrm cooling on the motherboard and you can still get access to all the little like fan cables and stuff behind generally cable management is really good there's more than enough grommets there's no more than enough space to route everything how you want to route it because the backside panel is tempered glass you kind of want to try and hide your cables as much as possible and that's why they included that cable cage thing to screw down the problem with that cable cage is that it's a huge pain in the butt the side panel is really dark so I think if you just leave that off and don't cable manage it it should be okay but it kind of becomes a personal challenge at that point like I was gonna give up and then I was like no no no I'm not gonna let this damn thing defeat me so then I ended up getting it on fairly nice name it just meant that it took about another extra 10 minutes to build the system that wouldn't necessarily have had to happen on the note of the tempered glass how much does it actually restrict the front do we actually have decent temperatures yeah I was quite surprised there if you look at the GPU temperatures I mean it barely made any difference having the front panel on is supposed to off which is pretty impressive and I think a lot of it has to do with those two high quality fans that they have in the front I think they do kind of brute force the situation a little bit as far as CPU temperatures go there's a about a 10% increase in temperatures on the CPU so now that we know what kind of temperature performance we get what it looks like and what it's like to build a system in this case let's get to the point that I'm not so sure about with this case now this case is going to come to market for a hundred and thirty US dollars which is quite a lot it's very well built in my opinion especially for a bit Phoenix case usually their cases feel a little bit wonky but this one's very solid it's got an interesting RGB implementation there are a couple of problems with the RGB though in the front you know you they don't diffuse the LEDs well enough so you can kind of see hotspots in the glass on both sides and the look is kind of where my biggest issue is with this case because I don't really know how I feel about it I don't dislike it but I just know that it's gonna be divisive it's in my opinion it's a Marmite case now as an American you may not know what Marmite is but Marmite is like a yeast spread for bread that's very divisive like people either love it or hate it and I kind of think this case is a bit Marmite when Ana saw it the first time she was like whoa that case looks amazing that's like the nicest looking case I've ever seen you build a PC in although what I would say is I think the interior of this case looks really nice it's one of the best proportion case interiors I've ever seen I mean look at this shot here with this big graphics card it just fits in really perfectly although if you want to put the radiator in the front that would also fit in there there's just not really much wasted space I think the front makes the case a bit niche and the problem is that not only does it make it niche but because of how much glass there is it's one of the big contributors to the fact that this case costs more I have one suggestion for BitFenix an alteration that they can make to this case that would make it sell very well I think keep this one on the market because some people are gonna like the way it looks and if you like the way it looks you should seriously consider getting this case because it is very good but I think BitFenix if you take the front from the Nova mesh TG and you put it on here color match the colours of the plastic properly to the case and then take the the glass panel off the back and then leave that cable management cage out I think you'd be able to save quite a lot of money on the cost of this case so you should be able to sell it for about $100 maybe under $100 I think that would make a case that has significantly broader appeal than this one because honestly that interior is very very good although one thing that I would say is that I think it's pretty cool that BitFenix is confident enough to take an aesthetic risk like that you know a lot of case manufacturers try and make their products as bland as possible so that it appeals to everyone so I think it's cool that there is still something this unique out there you know being released in 2020 but there's some pretty tough competition this year I mean yeah at CES there were some pretty awesome cases announced let me know what you think of the actual appearance of it but I'm honestly very pleasantly surprised by the build quality and just how well thought through this cases anyway thank you very much for watching if you liked the video like and subscribe to the channel for more
