You know each one has only one individual color but for what it is I think it's great so like I said all you have to do is basically hook it up to your computer micro USB in the side here I'm gonna go ahead and turn it off and then when you plug it in when it is off it will come back on after it's plugged in because now it's actually on power from the computer and once it's connected you're able to use the software and again this software isn't the most well defined or refined software you'll find out there but it does the job.
The cool thing is that you can basically choose your font and it has to be a small enough font to fit into this area you can choose the size you can type in a couple lines let me hold let me open it up here so here's the software basically it shows you the LCD screen. It's actually longer than it is when you see it on the actual device because it does allow for scrolling but it actually allows for scrolling quite a large amount of font I'm going to go ahead and remove what I have here oh and like I said it does allow you to actually load in external bitmaps on the right side here if you go to auto you can load in an image and in this case I have my subscriber count and it just plops it right in there so you can make that change in any sort of photo editing app like Photoshop or photopia.
But what I'll do is go ahead and type something in hi everyone please subscribe because technical goodies is awesome and you want to so once that's done and again you can actually choose you know some of their pre-made icons up here if I wanted to I can put a little thumbs up here um you can't change these at the top but you can load in your own. So what I'll do is I'll go ahead and I'll make this one come from the left and I'll make this one here we'll make it pile so basically fall from the top and pile uh make sure at the bottom left you have USB 0 selected because that's what it's plugged into and then we are going to send so it's updating and there you go hi everyone sorry it's going a little slow I should have made it go a little faster and please is Su subscribe you get the point geez.
So what I should have actually done is gone ahead and I'll go ahead and put the speed up a little a little higher to about six and I will have them just both coming from the left. I mean you can experiment if you pick one of these up we'll go ahead and send that back to the device there we go hello everyone please subscribe do all that stuff that everyone always asks you to do would be cool but anyway yeah I just wanted to kind of jump on and show you this little sucker I think it's pretty cool um I don't think I'll be wearing it in public so I won't use the name tag feature um but I definitely might put it here on the desk.
One thing I do wish that it had was the ability to kind of automatically update it like leave it plugged in and have it automatically update with the subscriber count or something like that that'd be cool but it doesn't seem like that's supported but for the low price that it is I'm gonna go ahead and pick one up actually I've been trying to limit my purchases lately so I now have the should I get another one of these wheel of death so we'll go ahead and spin this sucker should I buy more of these little name tags sit on it all right well maybe I will maybe I won't.

on the desk here that kind of showed some stats from the channel and I found this there's a lot more expensive options but this was like under 15 bucks let's check it out what's up everybody this is Carl from technical goodies and today we are taking a look at this little sucker right here kind of a little kind of found this while I was looking around for some sort of digital sign to have on my desk you know I've seen a bunch of videos where they have it in the background with their large subscriber count but I didn't feel like paying over 100 bucks for a little LCD screen so I stumbled across this little bad boy and what it actually is is a name tag it's got a little pin and it's also got a magnet on the back here so you can see you can put take this off and put it on the back side of your shirt if you wanted to wear it as a name tag but I'm going to use it as a little Marquee for my desk which I think is pretty fun so basically it's under 15 bucks here's the stuff that it comes with it comes with this pretty standard cheap electronics box comes with a pretty standard cheap electronics handbook and a CD of all things I don't even have a CD player so I ended up downloading the software off the internet and it comes with a micro USB charger because this is chargeable you will have to plug it into the computer because they do provide a software that allows you to be able to update and change what it says and if you imagine seeing any sort of larger sign like this in a shop window or a fast food restaurant and sometimes they'll have things dropping down or sliding or standing still or laser beams coming in you can do all that stuff with this I typically like to have it a little bit more basic like I have it now but but I'll pop up the software here and just give you a quick little tour of what it's like and how it updates so as far as the little name badge goes here I believe it's about 11 by 40 wide and surprisingly enough it looks really nice I'm hoping it comes across here on the video but I was actually quite surprised it's pretty darn good I know they have red they have blue they have a green one you know each one has only one individual color but
