Flagship killer FACE OFF! _ Xiaomi 14T VS Xiaomi 14T Pro

The 14t Pro: A Closer Look at Samsung's Flagship Device

In this article, we'll take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Pro (also known as the 14t Pro), a variant of the flagship device that boasts improved performance and features. While the phone's specs are similar to its predecessor, the 14t, there are some key differences that set it apart.

Performance: The 14t Pro handles better graphics and sustained performance over longer periods in basic testing. In single-core and multi-core tests, the 14t Pro scores higher than the regular 14t. Additionally, the GPU score is also better on the Pro model. These improvements make a significant difference when it comes to gaming and other resource-intensive activities.

Camera Comparison: The cameras on both devices are similar, but there are some subtle differences. The 14t Pro features a 50-megapixel main lens using Sony's IMX 906 image sensor, while the regular 14t has a 50-megapixel main lens using a different sensor (although the model number is not specified). Both cameras also have a 50MP f/2.0 telephoto lens and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. The images taken with both phones are vibrant and well-exposed, but there's barely any difference between them. However, the 14t Pro has slightly better detail on its ultra-wide camera.

Video Recording: Both phones can record 4K at 60 frames per second, which is more than enough for most users' needs. While they're similar, the 14t Pro offers one key advantage: it can also record video in 8K up to 30 frames per second, although this doesn't necessarily result in better quality.

AI Features: Samsung has announced some AI-powered features coming to both devices in October, including Circle (a search feature), AI subtitles, and an AI interpreter. These updates will be available via over-the-air updates, so users can look forward to improved functionality and capabilities.

Pricing: Unfortunately, the 14t Pro is not yet available for purchase in the United States. However, once it does launch, we'll have pricing information available. In the meantime, fans of Samsung's flagship device will need to wait a bit longer to get their hands on this new model.

Conclusion

The 14t Pro offers several improvements over its predecessor, including better performance and graphics capabilities. While the camera differences are subtle, the 14t Pro has slightly better detail on its ultra-wide lens. However, these benefits come at a higher price point, which may be confusing for some users. The lack of availability in the United States adds another layer of complexity to the situation. For now, fans of Samsung's flagship device will have to wait and see how this new model performs before making a decision about purchasing it.

The Differences Between the 14t and 14t Pro

As mentioned earlier, the main differences between the 14t and 14t Pro are performance, graphics, and power. While these improvements make a significant difference in certain situations, they may not be noticeable for everyday users. In reality, both phones perform on a similar level, with the exception of the 14t Pro's additional features and capabilities.

The Camera: A Closer Look

When it comes to camera performance, both phones are relatively similar. The main cameras capture great detail and dynamic range on both devices, although there is slightly better image quality on the 14t Pro. However, this difference may not be noticeable for most users. The ultra-wide lens also performs similarly well on both phones, with the exception of a slight improvement in detail on the 14t Pro.

Video Recording: A Comparison

The video recording capabilities of both phones are similar, with the ability to record 4K at 60 frames per second being sufficient for most users' needs. The 14t Pro offers an additional feature – 8K video recording up to 30 frames per second – which may be appealing to some users who want to capture high-quality footage.

AI Features: What to Expect

Samsung has announced several AI-powered features coming to both the 14t and 14t Pro, including Circle (a search feature), AI subtitles, and an AI interpreter. These updates will be available via over-the-air updates, so users can look forward to improved functionality and capabilities.

The Price: A Question Mark

One of the biggest questions surrounding the 14t Pro is its price. While Samsung has not yet announced pricing information for the device, it's likely that the Pro model will cost more than the regular 14t. However, the exact difference between the two prices remains to be seen.

Availability: The 14t Pro in the United States

Unfortunately, the 14t Pro is not yet available for purchase in the United States. However, once it does launch, we'll have pricing information and availability details available. In the meantime, fans of Samsung's flagship device will need to wait a bit longer to get their hands on this new model.

Conclusion

The 14t Pro offers several improvements over its predecessor, including better performance, graphics capabilities, and additional features. However, these benefits come at a higher price point, which may be confusing for some users. The lack of availability in the United States adds another layer of complexity to the situation. For now, fans of Samsung's flagship device will have to wait and see how this new model performs before making a decision about purchasing it.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis is the xiaomi 14t and this is the xiaomi 14t pro and on the surface of it they both look really similar the 14t of course being the cheaper alternative to the 14t pro but which of these phones should you pick up and the bigger question is why why do we have two of these phones first off these phones just by looking at them do look fairly similar so let's go through what is the same and the design of these phones are pretty much the exact same the 14t has a more flat boxy back to the phone whil it's the 14t pro has a slightly raised 3D curve back and it does feel a little bit more premium thanks to the aluminium alloy frame which makes the weight slightly more at 209 G compared to the 14t at just 195 G they both have the exact same three camera housing on the back and the exact same 6.7 in 144 Herz AMOLED panel that supports hdr10 and Dolby Vision the screen to body ratio is even the exact same at 93.3% and they both have a peak brightness of 4,000 nits I have to say those displays really do stand out and they're really quite vibrant and I've really liked them in the short space of time that I've had with these phones in terms of battery again they both share the exact same 5,000 mAh battery and xiaomi says that these should be able to do 1,600 life cycles and the only thing separating these two phones when it comes to battery is its charging speed the 14t offers 67 W charging and no wireless charging here whereas the 14t pro can go up to 120 WS charging with 50 W wireless charging although you don't get a power brick in the box with these phones which is maybe a bit disappointing they both also have the exact same IP rating at ip68 so getting them wet shouldn't really be an issue something else that these phones both share is their Ram they both come with 12 gigs of it and UF S4 storage and the only difference here is that the 14t pro can go up to 1 TB storage whil as the 14t is capped at 512 there is an actual difference between these two phones though and that is the chipset that is powering each of them so with the regular 14t you have a mediate Tech dimensity 8300 Ultra and on the more powerful 14t Pro it's housing a mediate Tech dimensity 9300 plus which essentially is the equivalent to the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 now both of these phones do look quick and sharp in everyday tasks and the only difference here is going to be on those heavier performance related tasks so for example the 4K video exporting is quicker on the 14t pro and if you're gaming and you're thinking about picking up one of these phones then the 14t pro will handle better graphics and better sustained performance over longer periods in some basic testing the 14t pro had better scores in both single core and multi-core and that's the same for the GPU score as well these phones have confused me a little bit because why would you have two phones with such similar specs going up against each other it doesn't really make much sense I feel like if you're going to buy one of these for something like gaming then buying one over the other you're not going to get much more performance and it isn't going to be leagues ahead and as I mentioned dayto day these phones really do perform on a similar level you're not exactly going to see a huge jump here so the question I have here is that is the price jump between the 14t and the 14t pro really worth it let's move on to the cameras and there's more that's pretty similar here as well well let's have a look at that 14t first off and this has a 50 megapix main f1.7 lens using Sony's IMX 906 image sensor a 50 megap f1.9 Leica telephoto lens and a 12 megapix lier ultrawide f2.2 lens and then we jump over to see the cameras of the 14t pro and it has a 50 megapix main f1.6 lens using the light Fusion 900 image sensor a 50 map F2 lier telephoto lens and a 12 megapixel f2.2 like a ultrawide lens and from the pictures that I've been taking with both phones there really doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the two and when I was taking these photos both cameras were using the like vibrant style and I actually really do like the images that this phone can produce the ultra wide is slightly lacking detail on the 14t where you get just a little bit more on the pro the main cameras actually capture great detail and dynamic range on both the 14t and 14t Pro and as I said I really like the pictures out the camera here the two-time zoom camera again the captures here are pretty solid with good contrast and good dynamic range these phones perform fairly well in low light photography but if you were to push me for one that looks better then I would say the 14t pro here just takes it it has a little bit more detail especially on the ultra wide camera the main lens they do fairly look the same but for me these actually do a decent job video recording again they're really similar they can both do 4K at 60 frames a second which I think is exactly what you need when it comes to a phone so you can slow it down if you need to and the video comparison between the two of these phones they do look really similar and it's hard to pick out one that is better than the other here the 14t pro though can do one thing the 14t can't and it can take video in 8k up to 30 frames per second and I mean the 8K video here doesn't look amazing I don't think any 8K video looks amazing so that sweet spot for me is 4K 60 but it's nice that you can do 8K if you really need it there are some AI features coming to the 14t and the 14t pro so in October you're going to be able to start using things like Circle to search then you have ai subtitles and AI interpreter amongst a few other AI features that will be coming via an overly air update overall I just think I'm a bit confused as to why we have the 14t and the 14t pro these phones are just so similar that it doesn't really make sense to spend the extra money to buy the 14t pro over the regular 14t unless you really want that extra power the differences between the camera are not really enough unless you're really looking for them and the only other maybe to get the 14t pro is wireless charging and a slightly more powerful chipset I think having two phones is a little confusing for people that are looking to pick these up and if you are looking to pick these up and you live in the states then unfortunately they are not coming to the US but let me know what do you think of the 14t and the 14t pro I don't have pricing for the 14t and the 14t pro yet but as soon as we get it if you have a look down below there'll be a pin comment that will tell you exactly how much these cost before you head off make sure you subscribe to the Android authority YouTube channel and if you do that then I will see you in the next video Ithis is the xiaomi 14t and this is the xiaomi 14t pro and on the surface of it they both look really similar the 14t of course being the cheaper alternative
