Samsung Galaxy S4 VS iPhone 5 Overview of Specs & Thoughts - S IV Versus iPhone 5

**Apple vs Samsung: A Comparative Analysis**

As an Apple fan, I have to admit that my loyalty to the brand can sometimes make it challenging for me to appreciate the innovative work being done by Samsung. However, as someone who values innovation and technology, I believe it's essential to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of companies like Samsung, which are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of smartphones.

**The New Galaxy S4**

I recently had the opportunity to get my hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S4, and I must say, it's an impressive device. The first thing that struck me was the screen size – at 5 inches, it's a bit larger than the iPhone 5's 4-inch display. However, when you consider the resolution of the S4's AMOLED display, which is 1080p and has a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch, I'm not surprised that Samsung has managed to make the screen look sharp and clear. In fact, the images displayed on the S4's screen are going to be much sharper than those shown on the iPhone 5.

**Build Quality**

One area where I expect the S4 to excel is in terms of build quality. While the plastic construction may not appeal to some users, it's essential to consider that Samsung needs to keep the device light and compact in order to make it comfortable to carry around. However, when compared to the iPhone 5, which also has a plastic body, I'm not sure if the S4 will offer any significant advantages in this regard.

**Specs and Features**

When it comes to specs and features, the Galaxy S4 is certainly an impressive device. The phone will be available with either a 1.6 or 1.9 GHz processor, depending on the region in which you purchase it. This means that users can expect fast performance and efficient battery life. Additionally, the S4 has a 13-megapixel camera, which is significantly better than the 8-megapixel camera on the iPhone 5. The new camera capabilities will include Burst Mode, which allows for 100 photos to be taken in just two seconds.

**Software**

One area where Samsung excels is in its software capabilities. Unlike Apple, which has been known to release updates incrementally and without significant fanfare, Samsung has been working hard to develop new features and functionality that set the Galaxy S4 apart from other smartphones. These include advanced gesture controls, such as eye-tracking, which allows users to control certain apps and make gestures without having to touch the screen.

**Infrared Sensor**

Another innovative feature of the Galaxy S4 is its infrared sensor, which can be used for remote control purposes or even for tracking fitness metrics. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with our smartphones and could potentially open up new possibilities for smartphone users.

**Health and Fitness Apps**

Samsung's focus on health and fitness is another area where the company excels. The Galaxy S4 comes equipped with several built-in Health apps, which aim to motivate users to stay active and healthy. These include tools such as a step counter, a calorie tracker, and even a stress-sensing feature that can detect when you're feeling stressed or anxious.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, while I may be an Apple fan at heart, I have to acknowledge the impressive work being done by Samsung in terms of innovation and technology. The Galaxy S4 is a compelling device that offers several features and capabilities that set it apart from other smartphones on the market. Whether you're interested in the latest camera technology or cutting-edge software features, the Galaxy S4 has something to offer.

**A Wait-and-See Approach**

As I waited for my hands-on experience with the Samsung Galaxy S4, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. How would it compare to the iPhone 5? Would its advanced camera technology and new software features be enough to convince me that Samsung is the superior choice?

Ultimately, only time will tell if the Galaxy S4 lives up to my expectations. In the meantime, I'll be keeping a close eye on this device and providing you with an in-depth review as soon as it becomes available.

**The Verdict**

While I may not have been able to show you the Samsung Galaxy S4 in this video, I'm confident that it will be worth waiting for. With its impressive specs, innovative software features, and focus on health and fitness, this device has all the makings of a truly exceptional smartphone.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys everything Apple Pro here and I'm really excited to make this video actually Samsung has just announced the new Galaxy S4 now seeing how I don't have one I can't really show you guys it but I do want to share some info and thoughts and general specs of the new Galaxy S4 and sum it up to the iPhone 5 which we have now now being an apple person this whole Channel being devoted to Apple my fans do expect me to be totally devoted to Apple and I am but Samsung in general is a very Innovative company and when it comes to Innovation Apple has been lacking lately with whichever way you face it that's the truth and the Samsung is bringing some amazing Innovation with the new Galaxy S4 so I just wanted to share the new S4 with you guys and see how it holds up compared to the iPhone 5 now here's the device itself at first you will notice of course the screen is huge it's 5 in up from 4.8 so just a little bit there but when you look at it compared to the iPhone 5 you're just wow of course you could argue both ways for some it's going to be too big for some they do enjoy a bigger screen so they'll be a bit biased but I got to say big screens for me are definite plus I enjoyed it when the iPhone 5 screen went up just a little bit compared to the 4S um now it is a bit lighter than the S3 but still compared to the iPhone 5 it is heavier 130 G versus 112 now the screen being an AMOLED display is alone better in deeper colors than the iPhone 5 but when you look at the new resolution which is 1080p it's just insane it's now a 441 pixel density versus 326 on iPhone 5 so images are going to be Sharp sharper going to look clear and they're going to look amazing and also the screen will be an energy saver seeing how it is an AMOLED display now the housing will still be plastic of course they do have to keep it light somehow I'm with the iPhone 5 on build quality I'm sure it still will be better than S4 but seeing all I don't have it yet I can't speak for that but from my experience with the S3 the build quality was good not great now the S4 itself will have tons of new technological capabilities spec-wise the Galaxy S4 looks amazing on paper however how that will translate to real life we don't know just yet we'll have to see but it will have a choice of either 1.6 or 1.9 GHz processors depending on which region you buy the device in it will have an upgraded 13 megapixel camera versus the 8 on the iPhone 5 that's one of the biggest points on the new Galaxy S4 it'll be able to take so many pictures in Burst Mode I do believe it was 100 photos in two seconds which is crazy now it will run the latest 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software versus 6.1.2 to on iOS so it'll definitely have all the newest features with the newest operating system now it will also have the new aspec Wi-Fi capability which allows for faster Wi-Fi downloads naturally it will have new NFC connectivity which most new Samsung smartphones do also have now where this phone excels is in software Apple has been lacking in software developments they just do the same old same old very incremental small updates which really ties me off because I know that apple is capable of so much more yet they hold back progress in favor of profit now some of these new software features which I can only tell you about not actually show you include taking video using the front and rear-facing camera at the same time to get both your reaction and the actual stuff that you're filming which I personally think is a very Innovative new feature now there is also new gestures that you can control with your eyes for example if you're watching a video and you do look away the video will automatically pause so that way you don't miss anything you can operate certain apps and make gestures without even touching the screen by basically swiping your palm or your fingertips over the screen and the executive during the presentation he did mention that this was for when your fingers are dirty for example when you're eating so pretty awesome feature also there is an infrared sensor in the new Galaxy S4 which you can use for a remote control and there's many other uses for it the Galaxy S4 will also Focus heavily on keeping you in shape there are several built-in Health apps and many new accessories in order to motivate you to stay in shape there's also a built translation app for spoken words and text and that's just some of the new things available so all in all I'd be lying if I did say I wasn't excited for the new Galaxy S4 and I'm sorry I couldn't actually show it to you in this video but I will do a full review just as soon as I get it and how it compares to the iPhone 5 do hope you learn a little bit about the S4 have a great day guys
