"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enanother day another leak this is saff from Super saf TV and we have a hot new leak of the Samsung Galaxy sa and what makes it hot is that it comes from serial leaker Evan blast who has a very good track record for providing some very accurate leaks now this is the first leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S8 from both the front and back previously we've had just the front and we've had some renders but this is an actual image and it does follow a similar design language to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge where it has a metal frame as well as curved glass panels on the front and back now the first thing that you'll notice from the image is that there is no physical home button for a fingerprint sensor there was initially some rumors that this is going to be embedded within the display but from this leak we see a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device near the camera a little bit of an awkward position I would say because you're going to have to kind of reach over to it and although it'll be okay for some it's very close to the camera as well so you're probably going to get lots of fingerprints on the camera so this is not something that I'm too Keen about so I do hope that this isn't true and we are going to be getting on the front but remember Evan blast is very very good with his leaks so this may be the case with the pixel and other LG devices it's usually around this area here which is a bit more reachable but it looks like we might have it quite high up on the S8 however one big advantage that this is going to bring is a super large display with minimal bezels now this has been leaked and rumored for a very long time but we're looking at roughly about 83% coverage on the front so that's going to be very very high very small bezels on the top and bottom and potentially an 18.5x 9 aspect ratio so this is slightly different to the 16x9 we've already heard that the LG G6 is going to have an 18 by9 or 2x1 ratio so this is going to be slightly taller now this is going to allow for a larger display size and the current rumor is that we're going to have two versions one 5.8 in and the other 6.2 now this seems quite Lar but remember that because of the smaller bezels it shouldn't increase the size of the devices too much and both of these are said to be curved so looks like we may be losing the flat version of the Galaxy the other thing that we get from this report is that we may have some form of force touch technology for these displays so this is similar to 3D touch on the iPhones where you can push down a little bit harder to get a few more options and things like that and the resolution is likely to be quite HD so there was some early rumors saying that we might be getting a 4K display this doesn't look likely for the Galaxy S8 version we may be getting it for the Note 8 if we do get one now this report also claims that the launch date is going to be the 29th of March this is earlier to what we had heard previously but it may be that the impact event is going to be on the 29th of March with the actual device release around the 18th of April so not too far away and we should be hearing about the S8 officially in about 2 months time and in terms of the internals we're going to have Android noua with the snapack Dron 835 or the Samsung xus processor depending on where you're from this is said to be 11% faster in terms of processing compared to the S7 23% faster Graphics but at the same time 20% more efficient and that brings us onto the batteries we're looking at 3,000 Mah an hour and 3,500 Mah an hour for the larger version so not a huge increase in terms of the battery size but this may be because of the problems that they had with the Note 7 where they tried to pack in a very large battery in a very small body and it caused all of these issues with the curving on the sides Etc the report also claims that we're going to have 4 GB of RAM so no increase here early rumors were suggesting that we might have six or even eight but we are going to have a 64 GB base model this is something that we had with the Note 7 and it'll definitely be nice for having the extra storage and you will still be able to expand that with a Micro SD card slot taking a closer look at the image you can see that we have a USB type-c port and there is still a 3.5 mm head phone jack so we're not going to be losing that anytime soon by the looks of it there is a single bottom firing speaker that we can see from this image but we may have a dual speaker setup with the headset this is yet to be confirmed and for the cameras it doesn't look like we're going to get du cameras this time around because there is just the one camera on this leak this is likely to be 12 megapixels with an F 1.7 aperture but improved Optics there may also be a new search functionality so for instance if you want to take some images of something you want to buy then it's going to find those for you maybe some trainers or something like that this is also rumored and the front-facing camera is likely to go up to 8 megapixels compared to 5 megapixels what we had last year still with an f1.7 aperture it looks like the iris scanner is going to make its way from the Note 7 to the S8 and we also likely to have Samsung's version of Google Assistant don't know why they don't just use Google Assistant because
