Unboxing and First Look: Monster Inspiration Headphones
The package that arrived at our doorstep was quite substantial, with a large plastic case that was designed to protect the headphones from damage. As soon as we opened it up, we were greeted by a soft material that would enclose the headphones while they are in the case. This was followed by a mesh pocket where you could store your cords if you chose to use them. Monster is very generous with their accessories, and included three cords with this set. These cords featured Monster's tangle-free technology, which is something that we're always on the lookout for.
The first cable that caught our eye was a simple 3.5mm jack with control and volume buttons. This cable featured the classic Monster sound signature, and it looked like it would be durable enough to withstand daily use. The next cable was similar, but without the control buttons. Instead, it had just two audio jacks for plugging into your device. Both of these cables were made with a high-quality material that felt sturdy in our hands.
Now that we've talked about the accessories, let's move on to the main event: the headphones themselves. As soon as we put them on, we could tell that quality and attention to detail had been paid to every aspect of their design. The aluminum ear cups felt solid and substantial in our hands, and the metal construction gave them a premium feel. Monster branding was visible throughout the ear cup, and it looked sleek and modern.
One of the standout features of these headphones is the ability to customize them with different bands. This is where things get interesting, as you can upgrade your standard silver band for something else. We were impressed by the quality of the leather ear cups that fit snugly over our ears, providing a comfortable seal that blocked out outside noise.
As we delved deeper into the headphones, we found a small switch on the side that allowed us to activate the noise isolating feature. This required batteries, which was a bit of a letdown for some users. However, when you did have it enabled, it made a noticeable difference in terms of sound quality and isolation.
Finally, we took a closer look at the inner workings of the headphones themselves. The ear cups were lined with soft leather that fit comfortably over our ears, providing a secure seal that blocked out outside noise. We also found branding on the left side of the headphone, which helped us to keep track of which one was the left and right.

headphones do bring to the table and this is the kind of first time monsters started to do this with their headphones and i am a big fan of it so we're just going to go into some of the boring stuff first i am very sorry so we have a note of inspiration from the head monster just some information featured with a nice white microfiber cleaning cloth and you're going to see the same material on the case which is the next part of the headphones and then if you go through this little booklet here and this is just what i'm assuming you're going to see some pictures of other headbands that you can purchase on monster's website so we're going to set that to the side and dig in a bit further so we have this nice case that you definitely can feel will be protecting your headphones but it does kind of have a harder outside and then the last thing on this case is it features a nice silver anodized uh carabiner and you could attach this to your backpack or belt to carry around your headphones so we're gonna set this aside and take a closer look at what's inside the case right here so now we're going to go ahead and dig on into the case right here have it reopened and these are the headphones themselves so we're going to keep digging in and we're going to set these to the side just for a brief moment and we are greeted with this nice soft uh kind of material that will enclose your headphones while they are in the case coming in a bit further we have this nice mesh pocket and this is what will hold your cords if you do choose so so monster is very generous and they include three chords in here and we're going to take a look at what each chord brings to the table here and with these chords they feature monsters uh and this is something that you're known for tangle free cord so it has a nice flat thick style cord which again is hard to tangle and it's something that i do look for in every monster product so this is the first cable and it features the control talk volume up volume down play pause skip rewind all that the next cable right here features just a single part of the control talk and this is just play pause skip rewind all that stuff and the final cable does not feature any kind of control talk it just has your simple audio both of these simple audio jacks now we're going to talk about the inspirations themselves so now that all the boring stuff is out of the way let's take a look at the star of the show we're gonna start at the ear cup right here and from first hold of these headphones you can tell that the quality and time was really put into these it's a nice aluminum feeling and it's actually metal throughout the ear cup right here so we have some monster branding right here we have the ear cup again then we have our 3.5 millimeter jack coming up top here we have some inspiration branding letting you know what kind of headphone it is so now this uh this is the part where you can start to customize the headphone these are the bands that you
