Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Benchmarks _ USB OTG _ Fingerprint Scanner

hi there this is Ranjit and I have the Samsung Galaxy s5 mini and I just unbox this device about two days ago but if you look at the box Samsung just says that it has a 1.4 gigahertz processor but it did not specify the mortal number and the GPU on that so we'll be looking at the configuration

I also ran some benchmarks on it so I'll show you that and we'll also test the USB OTG functionality and the fingerprint scanner on this samsung galaxy s5 mini in this video so let's first talk about the configuration and for that we will use the CPU set application and I'll just save it and this is the DOS version that means it's a dual SIM variant and as you can see it's running on the Snapdragon 400 chipset that is clocked at 1.4 gigahertz

and regarding the GPU it sports a Adrina 3:05 GPU coming to ram it has 1.5 gigs of ram and sports of a 4.5 inch screen and that's a Super AMOLED screen which has a resolution of 720p HD and the battery is a 2100 milliamp hour battery

and these are the sensors we do have gyroscope accelerometer magnetic field so looks like Samsung has not skimmed on the sensors provided it has all the important sensors that are needed

so that's regarding the configuration I also ran a quite a few benchmarks and I save this course so let me show you that now and we'll start with the the quadrant

and here we got a score of 10,000 103 for this s5 mini and that is very close to the scores that we generally see with Snapdragon 400 chipset devices

now if we move to antutu here we got a score of nineteen thousand three hundred seventy seven which is actually pretty decent in my opinion

I also ran this Geekbench 3 and here we got a single core score of 382 and a multi-core score of 1263 it's a quad core processor

and I also ran this lina mach 2 which is for graphics and here we got a score of 55 49 that's all 56 FPS

I also tried to test this USB OTG functionality with this device and let me actually show you and it is kind of disappointing out of the box it's not supporting USB OTG nothing happens if you do that

I also try to make it work with external apps like this nexus media manager but here also it does not detect usb OTG so it is very surprising to see that this device does not support usb OTG which is kind of a disappointment because it's supposed to be a flagship mini phone from Samsung

so disappointing to see that we do not have any USB OTG support now coming to the fingerprint scanner this s5 mini has a fingerprint scanner and here the performance was actually very good as you can see it actually works very well

and it actually works a lot better than the regular s5 for example if I just do it anyway even tilt it and do it like this it works for example with the regular s5

so the fingerprint scanner implementation is very well on the samsung galaxy s5 mini so that's it for now for this video

and if you have any other specific topics that you would like that I cover in my future videos of the galaxy s5 mini do post about them in the comment section thank you for watching this video
