Drift Corvette -Picking Up The Chassis and Mounting the Powertrain | Field Prep Ep14 | Donut Media

Here is the rewritten text in a well-structured article format:

**Working on the Rear Window of the Anderson Composite Hatch**

I'm currently working on installing the rear window of the Anderson composite hatch. I've drilled some holes, put in rib nuts, and figured out how it fits. It's looking good - it's self-tapped into place, and with some washers and foam, it lays down nicely and maintains its shape.

Next, I'll be applying the soft side of velcro to ensure a secure fit. This is where we get creative - it's all about getting that perfect fit. And let me tell you, it's going to look great when it's done!

**A Visit from Sutra Brad Dan's FD Car**

But for now, I'm taking a break to show off Sutra Brad Dan's FD car, which is looking pretty cool with its new leather seats. The super bro and wide-body are definitely exciting features.

We're going back to the shop to pick up the chassis, and it's time to get the car ready. First things first, we need to stuff it into the garage. Ah, yeah - tubs - we're getting the car up on the lips right now, taking it off the chassis dolly. It's coming along nicely!

**Preparing for the Dip-Mounted Subframe**

Now that we have the subframe done, it's time to put the dip-mounted subframe in place. But first, let's try out fitting the bar wall without scratching it. Okay, so now we're going to get the dip mounted in the subframe to the transmission and torque tube, then put the motor in.

We've got the subframe done, but it's time to put the dip in and see if it all fits on the torque tube. Just drop the engine down onto a dolly - I'll grab this whole Johnny over here, set that long dong on this dolly with the subframe and hope it's high enough that we can lower the car onto it.

**Getting the Car Ready**

All right, well it's on the rear subframe now. Crazy bolts so it holds the front of the front subframe in place. Let me get these pedals ready and put them in the car. I'm going to put some blue thread locker on all the hardware for this project.

Before I put the air motor fuel pressure regulator, I'll also be putting my holley fuel pressure sensor in - right here it's gonna be cool because the holley is actually going to log our fuel pressure and if anything goes wrong or whatever you know there's stuff that we can do knowing what the fuel pressure is.

**Steering Column Installation**

I'm going to put the steering column in next. Just got the hardware for it, painted it up - shove it in the house. But wait, just broke in the ball! We're starting to fit some of this inner fender and we're gonna put the Anderson composite trunk on and some fenders and stuff.

**Modifying the Wing**

I want to see what kind of modifications we need to do to the wing, so I've got my three to six power wing from Japan - it's straight from Japan! It's looking pretty sick. And it looks like it's going to rub the quarter panels if I don't have any spacers on it.

**Getting the Spacers and Stickers**

Luckily, Spoiled just sent me some fans and an insane amount of sticker stuff - it's actually perfect because I hate just having to add height that I need for the link to not hit the quarter panel. Double one foosball yeah! Should be nice and smooth.

**A Special Note**

I don't know if this is the only C6 Corvette with a three to six power wing, but I'd love to see it! Let me know in the comments - thanks for watching, and make sure you stay posted for the last few episodes. We're getting close, and we're going to do a sweet reveal once the car is all done. Don't miss that!
