smartphones and we'll be talking about those a little bit later but if we're talking just new pieces of tech that I've really enjoyed my favorite this year personally has to be this thing here one second this thing here no it's not Dumbo although it's very heavy and that is what people are calling a hoverboard segue to wheel self-balancing scooter I don't know what you whatever you want to call it I've had lots of fun using this and yes my review is still coming it's mainly because the weather is so bad outside but the review will be coming very very soon as well as a giveaway I've had a lot of fun using these I know there's been some controversy around them let me ground safety and the illegal use of these but they are a lot of fun if you ride them safely and I've really really enjoyed using mine and I can definitely see this technology picking up and having more variations of this we're not still can see any hoverboards as yet but being a huge fan of both boards this is soft the closest thing that we've got right now the other piece of technology that I really like is this thing here probably wondering what the hell is this poor woman yeah probably should have prepared this earlier anyway this is a z1 gimbal so you can simply put your smartphone into this and it will keep it completely stable and I've absolutely loved using this this is a zeg one smooth see design tech gimbal and I have this more coverage of this in my top cool take a video of October I believe it is so do go ahead and check that out if you want to see this in action as well as some example footage and what's what some of our this gimbal is at that you can put in pretty much any smartphone and it's gonna give you some super super smooth footage something which you simply cannot get and help so I videos but on the review side it's Philip Bloom Philip Bloom I absolutely loved his videos he reviews cameras and things and he's a filmmaker and he is absolutely awesome I definitely recommend you go ahead and check him out I'll link in the description below next question is from OTB tech 4k how long did it take you to get to the first 1000 subscribers I think there's about nine months I think eight to nine months I think it was I wasn't very consistent to start off with but in my first year of making YouTube videos I had no idea what I was doing I was just kind of making videos as I was going along it was around about after nine months when I got my first thousand subscribers and that's what really motivated me to start uploading more consistently and I think by the end of that year I did get to 5,000 which was absolutely awesome and just on that point just to mention that's one thing that the more you grow the quicker you grow as well so once you reach that one milestone you'll probably reach the next milestone twice as quick as you did that first one and that's the way YouTube work so keep working hard and keep going forward now let's move on to the next question how to shoot awesome car selfies you mean these super staff style car selfies well just get in a car look cool and take a picture there you go anyway let's just make this the last question and this is from
