I have this obsession with phones, I don't know what it is, but I just love them. They're just so cool to me for some reason. I just like the ones that are just different and really cool, and I just... I don't know, and I have this whole list of phones that I wish I could own.

I can't do that, though. I don't have all the money in the world, and I'm not one of these big YouTubers who has all this money to just buy every single phone. So I have to select my phones carefully because I don't have that much money to blow.

The ones that I think are really cool are like one-off phones, like ones that are just out of the norm. They're just really cool, and they're the first of their kind. They're just all really really cool to me in this series, we'll be going over those. The first phone in this series is the Red Hydrogen One.

Okay, we got the packaging right here. I bought this refurbished for $200 US dollars. I can't really afford to buy these when they just come out and have to wait for them to get cheaper.

Essentially, and this packaging is really high quality. We got a little emblem that's like embedded into the packaging says "Red Media Machine" Hydrogen. It's really high quality feeling this texture is really really nice. It says "Hydrogen" on the side, there. A little rundown of the product on the back. Hydrogen on this side. This is probably from the refurbished company right.

There. Red Media Machine opening it up. Hydrogen media machine beautiful and there's the phone. Oh that's so cool Holy crap. This is massive this is a behemoth of a phone holy moly this is so cool underneath we get a little manual I believe we've got our Red emblem looking thing here oh I ripped it no I ripped it okay that's unfortunate I ripped it but it's okay.

Att warranty and safety information that was not worth ripping. We get a power brick right here. I believe it's 12 watts not entirely sure pretty thick USB C which at the time is kind of ahead of its time and we get a high-quality USB C to USB C cable that says "Red" on it.

Whoa this is really really cool. All right we got the phone right here, and we get to remove the plastic here we go sorry from the bottom right here very very nice look how perfect that screen is take out the back very very nice oh look at that, and the back camera now that it's beautiful the carbon fiber the aluminum the Red Media Machine logo here beautiful.

All right we're gonna get some juice into this thing oh it already has some this is an Android phone made by the company Red Digital Cinema. They make very high-end camera and camera gear like their cheapest one is $15,000. This phone was announced on May 18th, 2018, and it officially released on November 2nd, 2018.

The main selling points around this phone are around the imaging they do happen to be a high-end camera company so I would assume that that would be the case. That's why this thing has a 3D display that uses diffracted backlight to create 3D depth on the OS. They have dual front cameras and dual rear cameras, there's also pins on the back that are meant to integrate with Red accessories.

This is a massive phone it is really distinct and overall just different. It like has these finger grooves on the side that you don't really see on any other phones, and it has just a really rugged design. It's made of aluminum glass, and there's even some carbon fiber on the back. It does happen to be the soft-touch carbon that feels really high quality.

It also has all these fun noises when you turn on and off the phone they have a really distinct vibration motor that is really aggressive overall the 3D mode is kind of weird and it just gives me a headache, and that is crossed off my bucket list. There also based off how well this video does will determine when my next bucket list phone video comes out like if you guys like it I'll be sure to make more if not it'll be a little bit slower but that's okay.
