March Book Haul!

**My Exciting Book Haul!**

I'm so excited to share my latest book haul with you guys! I've been fortunate enough to receive some amazing books from publishers and friends, and I just can't wait to dive into them. As a mystery enthusiast, I've always been fascinated by stories that keep me on the edge of my seat, and this new batch of books seems like it's going to deliver.

The first book I want to talk about is "Ask the Passengers" by A.S. King. My friend Rebecca gifted me this book after she was getting rid of some old books, and I couldn't resist picking it up. I've heard mixed reviews about this book, with some people finding it creepy and mysterious, while others have given it a thumbs down. However, my dad is a huge fan of mysteries, so I'm excited to give it a try. I don't know much about the plot yet, but the cover art looks intriguing, and I'm looking forward to finding out more.

The next book that caught my eye was "521" by Holly Boschur, which was sent to me by Random House Canada as part of their ARC program. This is a first-time ARC for me, and I'm thrilled to be one of the lucky ones who gets to read it before its release in May 2015. The premise sounds incredibly unique - set in a dystopian India where there's a gender selection ratio that's been skewed, and now men have to compete for women's hands in marriage. What really drew me to this book was the writing style, which is a mix of prose and verse. I love how the author uses words to create a spotlight effect on certain parts of the text - it sounds like a really cool and innovative way to tell a story.

I also received an ARC for "Volition" by Lily Paratus from another publisher. I don't know much about this book yet, except that it's set in New York and is classified as new adult fiction. I've heard great things about this author, so I'm really excited to dive into the world of Volition. The cover art looks stunning, and I love how the title has a certain edginess to it - it definitely piques my interest.

**A Sneak Peek at My Upcoming Schedule**

I wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's going on with me in the coming weeks. As finals approach, things are getting busy, and I'll be focusing more on my studies than creating content. However, I promise to still upload videos - just not as frequently as before. I'm planning on sticking to a Tuesday and Thursday schedule for now, but who knows? Maybe after summer arrives, I'll get back into the swing of things.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey everyone its alien and today I'm going to be doing my March book haul so this is just going to be kind of a little baby book haul because I actually didn't end up buying any books in March which is so exciting I'm very very proud of myself it took a lot of willpower but I did it I probably will buy a couple of books and April just kind of reward myself for getting through finals and everything but yeah I didn't buy any in March which I had said and my februari book haul that I didn't want to buy any and I'm very very happy with myself but that being said I was gifted a couple of books and then I was sent a couple from the publishers so I'm going to talk about those right now so the first book I was gifted and my dad actually got me this book and that is the girl on the train by Paula Hawkins he had just heard a lot about this book and I think my aunt had recommended it to my mom for me to read and then he decided to get it for me so I'm really excited I've heard really great things about it I've heard it's kind of like gone girl I didn't really out I didn't really like gone girl that much but I think it's cuz it was kind of I found it to me like a little bit too lengthy and I was getting just kind of impatient but this one isn't too long at all so i should like this one more I'm hoping I'm really excited to get into it because I have heard that it's pretty creepy and like mysterious and stuff and my dad really likes mysteries so I kind of want to get into mysteries more so yeah I'm excited about this one the next book I was gifted is from my friend Rebecca she was getting rid of some books and she asked if I wanted any of them so I picked this one up and this is ask the passengers by a s king I own this will be the third AF King book that I own what I haven't read any of them and I'm very ashamed to say that I do really want to read them I just haven't yet for some reason but yeah I don't really know what this is about at all I just know that she started reading it and she didn't really like it she thought it was really weird but it could be good weird so we shall see you I was so excited when I saw this next book in the mail because I had requested it from the publisher not really thinking that I was going to get it but I did end up getting it and it is the first arc that I've ever gotten and that is 521 by Holly bochur I was sent this by Random House Canada so thank you so much random house for sending me this I am so excited I'm currently reading it and I'm about 120 pages and it's not too long at all it's like 240 pages roughly so I'm pretty far in I'm hoping maybe to finish it tonight it's really good so far it's very interesting and unique and that's kind of what intrigued me the synopsis sounded so cool and with dystopian I believe this is first off as dystopian standalone which is very hard to find in dystopian second off the whole entire premise of it is completely different it takes place in the year 2050 to yeah 2052 in india and it's basically after a really long time of gender selection there are now five 5 men for everyone women so these men have to go through this competition to kind of win this girl's hand in marriage so then they can like kind of get the ratio back up it's like this Walden city it's really really really crazy and I'm gonna link the Goodreads page down below so that you guys can go and see the synopsis and everything because it's honestly so nuts and it just sounds so cool and it really is really unique and different so far because parts of it are written in verse and parts of it are written in prose and it's just kind of the mix of it and the whole like idea of the writing like the words actually like do what they say like where is it I want to find an example to like you can see right here with spotlight like there's actually arrows so it looks like a spotlight like just little things like that in this book are so so cool and reading this book so far has just been such an experience it's really awesome definitely recommend it so far i will be reviewing this i'm a spoiler-free review and i will really release that closer to the release date this comes out in May it's May 12 2015 that this comes out so so excited this last book I was also sent by the publisher and that is volition by Lily paratus I am not really exactly sure what this book is about but I just found out that it took place in New York and that it's a new adult and I was just absolutely sold so I really really excited to read this and figure out what it
