Unboxing the Google Nexus 7: A Comprehensive Review
Hey there, YouTube! It's your boy Saf here on Super Saf TV, and we've got another unboxing for you guys today. We're excited to finally get our hands on the new Google Nexus 7, also known as the Google Nexus 7 2 or the second-generation Nexus 7. This tablet has been delayed, which is largely due to Google's decision to release it in the UK almost a month after the US release. However, it's finally here, and we're eager to dive into its features and see what it has to offer.
Unboxing the Tablet
Let's take a quick look around the box itself. As you can see, the Nexus 7 comes in a nice blue color that's slightly different from last year's gray model. The branding is still minimalistic and sleek, which we appreciate. Now, let's get the tablet out of its sleeve. Ah, this was quite an ordeal last time around, but it looks like Google has made some improvements to make it easier to remove.
The box contains two units of the Nexus 7, so let's take one of them out and set it aside for now. We'll also dispose of the paperwork, which is basically just a quick start guide and warranty information that nobody actually reads. Moving on, we have the micro USB cable and AC adapter, but make sure you check your region to see if you get the correct adapter. Now, let's take a closer look at the tablet itself.
Feeling the Nexus 7
As soon as I picked up the Nexus 7, I knew it was going to feel great in my hands. It fits perfectly and looks absolutely awesome. The device is lightweight and easy to hold, making it perfect for everyday use. Now, let's remove the plastic cover and take a closer look at the design.
Powering On
As we power on the Nexus 7, it looks incredibly nice. You can see the screen lighting up, and the device springs to life. The front-facing camera is still present, but I have to mention how great it feels in my hand. We also have the 3.5mm headphone jack on the right-hand side, which is a nice touch.
Looking Around
While we're waiting for the Nexus 7 to boot up, let's take a closer look around the device. You'll notice that there's no left-hand side, which makes sense considering how slim and compact the tablet is. The top features a power button and volume rocker, while the bottom has the micro USB port.
Taking a Look Back
Now that we've powered on the Nexus 7, let's take a closer look at its design. You'll see that there's a rear-facing camera capable of filming 108p HD video. This was not present in last year's model, so it's nice to see that Google has made some improvements.
Screen Time
Now that we've taken a closer look at the Nexus 7, let's talk about its screen. The display features an incredible 323 PPI resolution, which is the highest pixel density on any tablet out there – not just limited to 7-inch screens. This means that the images you see will be incredibly sharp and detailed.
