this is the 991 Turbo S exclusive series and it is a limited edition only 500 of these were made 200 convertibles as well meant for the US market so the convertible version is even more rare but this Coupe is way cooler of course in this golden yellow metallic absolutely stunning and uh it is a viewer's car we got a message asking us if we wanted to drive it uh and of course we do so Yan came out today with his Turbo S and we're going to review it I'm going to show you around it show you all the details that make this special and that make this an exclusive series car and then we'll take it for a drive towards the utaban for an alaban blast so it is a 991 Turbo S and it was introduced to celebrate 25 years of Porsche exclusive now they changed the name uh back then as well when it came out so uh the first Porsche exclusive car was a Turbo S life B in 1992 and then in 2017 25 years later they changed the name to Porsche exclusive manufacture that's also why you get this little badge here and uh this car is sort of a celebration of that and 11 hours of handcrafted goodness went into this car to get it the way it is it is not just a limited edition to sell limited edition cars they actually did quite a lot on this car to make it well an exclusive series car and there's only really only one choice for paint because this is golden yellow metallic and it is absolutely stunning it's a shame that we don't have any sun today but it looks stunning even in this light I love it it is well it is gold but it has like a a copperish u to it which is really really nice agot gray and Cara white were also available but I mean come on you have to have it in this golden yellow paint we've got carbon stripes on the Bonnet well the entire Bonnet is carbon fiber of course and it is uh clear coated so you don't feel that with a nice surround for the Porsche logo but the car looks so beautiful in this spec we've got the Turbo S Arrow kit as well with this inflatable front splitter here that uh is deployed when you go to Sport Plus or you can do it with a button as well little winglet in the bumper here the black headlights it just all works together really well and then the stripes continue on the carbon roof here super nice we've got carbon mirror caps little carbon triangle here as well and uh the air intake surrounds our carbon we've got Yan's Instagram here if you want to follow him TR R LSS on Instagram and then at the rear we've got this Arrow kit spoiler that also automatically raises but you can push a button and this is one of my favorite Parts on the 991 Turbo S this spoiler with that like Wing here and then the carbon part that lowers down into it and it fits so snug in there is it's so cool I love that uh we've got a carbon rear diffuser as well these stps in this matte black are uh for the exclusive series as well with those little holes in there very nice Turbo S Badge Of course exclusive series here on the uh rear deck lid apparently this already takes like 5 hours to make with beautiful golden exclusive series on there as well and what else we've got wheels of course these are 20in wheels for the what's up for the exclusive series and this is also the first time that they used this laser technique which was new so they painted these wheels in golden yellow metallic then they painted them in black and then they used the laser to cut out the black basically and to leave this uh pin stripe of golden yellow Center locks carbon ceramic brakes 305s at the rear so cool 245s at the front and then let's take a look in there you can't really see anything of course but we do have Turbo S 3.8 exclusive power kit so the power from this 3.8 twin turbo goes from 580 Ah that's Martin in the 718 spider RS sounds good power goes from 580 horsepower to 607 so 27 horsepower bump and then Torque from 700 to 750 and I think that covers the exterior bit so you get all the carbon fiber with that golden yellow it's so so so good absolutely lovely so check out this Bonnet that weighs absolutely nothing beautiful that looks so cool I love the fact that Yan actually uses this car so it's basically like his daily whenever he wants to drive a fun car he takes this um so he's done 61,000 km in the last 6 years he bought it in 2018 uh from the dealership exclusive series door sale as well and then this gorgeous carbon fiber with this golden weave in there and golden logos as as well absolutely stunning interior as you can see everything is golden yellow stitching we've got these stripes on the seats as well Turbo S Embroidery on the headrest we've got these stripes in the headliner as well to mirror the stripes on the car with in those little dots you can see the golden yellow again it's been done right this uh stitching on the steering wheel as well and everything just yeah it it all comes together which I really really like we also have a wait let me just remove this one so we also have an exclusive series ref counter as you can see with the stripes across again that is a cool touch yeah this thing is amazing so let's start her up now as you've seen probably we've got some sheepies here so uh I'm not going to rev it we'll do that uh a bit later okay so here we go pdk gearbox and uh it is as glorious as ever also available with this car a customade watch which they also only made 500 of I believe and they were $112,000 and it had touches all the car so like wheel design and the rotors of the watch were designed to mirror this car and I believe it also has golden yellow touches and stuff like that so yeah really really cool a custom luggage set also available for this car for the exclusive Series so I mean honestly they they really did try their best to make this car feel special and to give you some proper like extra stuff and of course everything that's limited goes up in value so I'm sure that's the case with this car as well and all the stuff that came with it okay so we're in sport mode right now because then you have these little Pops in the exhaust this this Rumble oh but Sport Plus of course is full attack mode but you don't get the burbles then so oh wow it's been a while since I drove a 991 Turbo S but it is still I mean still 6 years later this is such a fast car and it is such an effective like point and shoot things with four wheels it is so crazy the way this car feels have to slow down here a little bit of course you also have Porsche active suspension management the Porsche Dynamic chassis control uh the carbon ceramic brakes the rear wheel steering it basically has everything that Porsche had back then and they just threw it at this car to make it such a crazy thing it's such a fast car but it maintains that that tactility that makes Porsche so great it it just it turns in so well and even though it's not as agile or as like exciting to drive as a GT3 or anything like that it still is it's is a freaking weapon oh that is an aggressive lunch control that is 2.9 seconds 0 to 100 claimed by Porsche we did 2.8 of course so soundwise let's open the windows sport sounds pretty good I mean po it sounds angry it sounds like it wants to go fast that's basically it and then if you leave it in normal mode an automatic it just becomes this Cruiser and it's super comfy it's relatively quiet it's amazing the the things this car can do man you kind of forget about it you know you drive it and you're like oh this is an amazing car and then the 992 comes out and you're like oh wow this is even more amazing but I will say this the 99 ones they do feel a bit more analog a bit more connected smaller lighter I quite like that actually but before we the autoban let me show you petrol Vibes these things you've seen them before on our Channel we absolutely love them we've got them here in the workshop we've got them in the Sim room upstairs as well this is the Ford GT as you can see we have it against this wooden wall now so you have a different effect compared to the wo so let's get going 200 is nothing for this car this is 200 this is like cruising mode but should be able to get a gap here so that's Full Throttle quick down shift and then it just hooks up and takes off that's 300 that's 200 to 300 in no time at all this thing is a rocker chip I can't really see the digital Speedo so I have to look at the analog one so I know that that was just just over 300 but my goodness very friendly sir thank you you get some hazards for that that's kind right he just he watched me coming and he was like ah you go man let's go there we go I mean this car is so fast that like 100 to 200 you can see it in the list it's amazing it's an amazing time it's it's a very fast car but the numbers they only say so much it's a weit to kind of get a relative performance to other cars but the way that this car does it is so incredible because it feels like it it takes no effort for this car to put down these incredible numbers it truly is it still truly is one of the best daily supercars ever built if not the best Sport Plus we also have the sport response here so if you click that you get 20 seconds of Maximum attack regardless of the driving mode seems like it's a little bit less busy on the other side so we'll head that way there are some policemen over there so we'll see if we will get pulled over but I mean it's not like we're super inconspicuous you know
