Lenovo Unveils New Products at CES 2023

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, Lenovo showcased its latest range of products, including smart home devices, gaming laptops, and business-focused computers. The company's hot hardware segment featured a unique smart clock with Alexa built-in, which is designed to provide users with essential information such as time, temperature, weather, and more.

The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential features a digital screen that can be used to display various types of information, including notifications and calendar events. It also comes with a wireless charging dock, allowing users to charge their phone wirelessly. The clock is available in three colors: clay red, misty blue, and white. In addition to the smart clock, Lenovo showcased its Yoga lineup, which includes the flagship Yoga 9i model.

The Yoga 9i features a new design with rounded comfort edges, making it easy and comfortable to carry around. It also comes equipped with a 360-degree sound bar, Bowers & Wilkins tuning, and a one-touch key row for quick access to frequently used functions. The laptop also features a fingerprint reader, dark mode button, audio controls, background blur, and performance mode switcher. Lenovo's ThinkPad line was also showcased, featuring the X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga, and X1 Nano models.

The X1 Carbon is Lenovo's lightest and most portable business-focused computer, weighing just 2 pounds and under 1 kilogram. It features a 12th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory, and an OLED display with Dolby Vision. The laptop also comes equipped with an FHD camera for video conferencing and an integrated pen for annotating documents.

In addition to the X1 Carbon, Lenovo showcased its X1 Yoga model, which features a 4K OLED display, an integrated pen, and up to 16 hours of battery life. The X1 Nano is the company's lightest laptop ever made, weighing just 2 pounds and under 1 kilogram.

Lenovo also introduced its Z series of laptops, designed for gaming and content creation. The first model to be showcased was the Legion 5 Pro, which features a powerful Intel Core i9-12900H processor, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card.

The Legion 5i Pro is Lenovo's most powerful gaming laptop, featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card. Both laptops come with Nahimic speakers and a four-zone RGB keyboard with customization options through Lenovo Vantage.

Furthermore, Lenovo showcased its latest ThinkPad laptops, featuring AMD processors and OLED displays. The Z series includes a 16-inch model with a large OLED display, glass palm rest, full-size keyboard, and big speakers down the side. This laptop is designed for content creators and gamers who need a powerful machine that can handle demanding tasks.

Lenovo's commitment to sustainability was also highlighted at CES 2023. The company introduced new packaging made from sustainable materials, including bamboo and sugarcane, which are fully compostable and recyclable. Even the handles on the packaging are no longer made of plastic but instead made from a fibrous material.

assistant and this is an essential so it has this digital screen you can see right now it's making a face with the c-line base this is compatible with a few different bases it provides just essential things like time temperature weather date things like that and it also is compatible with our wireless charging dock so you can snap it right in you get a night light and then you can put your phone here wirelessly charge it okay there's also available clay red misty blue very cool let's move on to some notebooks here we have our yoga lineup the highlight of which is definitely the yoga 9i so the yoga nine eyes are flagship yoga convertible new to this gen is rounded comfort edges that make it very easy and comfortable to carry anywhere it also features a 360 degree sound bar with bowers and wilkins tuning okay on the keyboard we have a one touch key row so on the bottom we have a fingerprint reader right above that we have a dark mode button above that we have audio controls for applications like teams above that a background blur also for teams and above that is our performance mode switcher so you can switch between quiet automatic and high performance depending on your needs and battery okay catch it and now we have some think books to check out too so here we have 1416 13x and then the coolest one but plus gen 3. this is a 17.3 inch 3k 21x10 widescreen display and it also features a secondary display next to the keyboard an 8 inch touchscreen this is a content creator's dream it allows you to snap things to the bottom display which is treated like a windows display now you can just treat it like a a separate window screen you drag stuff down you also have some apps that might snap right over to it so here an example yeah it also can do a you have a keyboard i mean a key a calculator if you need to do anything like that and then also features a notepad so if you're a note taker during meetings you can draw all sorts of notes very cool and now we have some legion gaming stuff to check out right yes let's do it over here we have the legion 5 pro and 5i pro these are our most powerful gaming machines they're maxed out with the intel having a core i9 1290h and in the amd and ryzen r 9 50 900 hx these also have a rtx 3070 ti running at 165 watts up to 32 gigabyte of ddr5 ram gen4 pcie ssd slot and two two watt nahimic speakers four zone rgb keyboard with a customization within lenovo vantage and what color is this model so this color right here is storm gray and is also available in the new glacier white yeah it's beautiful awesome great thank you so much thank you mark we are continuing here with lenovo i have mike now to show us some of the really cool x1 products and a couple of new designs mike want to take it away okay thank you so we have first of all the x1 carbon our 10th generation x1 carbon um we've added a few highlight a few features for the hybrid worker uh the first one would be the up here on the top you see the little notch where we have uh added an fhd camera so very good for at home in your office we've also added a dolby voice with ai based noise cancellation to take out the noises of your kids or the vacuum cleaner from a display point of view we've added oled display and nearly all our displays are also isafe blue light low blue light certified okay on the lower half we added the 12th generation intel cpus the u15 and the p28 so great performance coupled with lp5 memory moving to the x1 yoga very similar features and really it's just a form factor choice do you want a yoga uh with a 4k oled option and a and an integrated pen for annotating and things like that or you have the low the lower weight um x1 carbon okay and then our lightest product we have is the x1 nano again same similar features with the cameras and the communications bar but the real change here is that we've added the p28 cpu in it so you get the same performance uh as the x1 carbon and then the x1 yoga so even in this super thin light two-pound machine you can get full performance out of the 20 watt power beautiful awesome and it's still under two pen it's still two pounds and under one kilogram in weight nice very cool and we have some new designs over here to see as well yeah so we're introducing the z series um for basically a new new um generation of consumers for um for thinkpad and as you can see um from the design it's a very different design we've really highlighted with the communications bar the camera enhancements also choice choice of materials choice of colors this one has a vegan leather top and a bronze anodized recycle ball or sorry recycled aluminum okay this one is just arctic silver recycled aluminum as well and then there is a black option as well recycled aluminum gotcha on the inside you can see very narrow bezels uh oled display option uh edge to edge keyboard trackpad nice big trackpad nice big trackpad with a trackpoint option don't have to have the two if you don't use the track point you can use the full area of the trackpad as well and then underneath is the amd latest amd cpus with a custom cpu made with amd for lenovo okay and then there's a 16 inch version with a 16.0 inch oled 16 by 10 display similar features with the camera with a bit nice big track pad glass palm rest full size keyboard big speakers down the side this is running an h-class cpu from amd plus the latest amd radeon graphics as well which are coupled together using smart shift so that it balances the cpu and gpu loads depending on what you're doing dynamically gotcha beautiful and you guys also did some cool stuff with the packaging correct yeah so sustainability is a big big focus of the the new people coming into the office and so we have new packaging using bamboo and sugarcane so this is fully compostable and recyclable and then of course the packaging that comes in is cardboard which is uh recyclable as well awesome even down to the handle is no longer plastic it's uh some
