Today at CES (day 2): Corsair released all the things, Razer Linda, sony projector and more
CES Coverage: Day Two Roundup
The second day of CES has come to a close, and there's been no shortage of exciting announcements. Let's dive into some of the highlights.
Gaming Peripherals Galore
Corsair is taking gaming peripherals to new heights with its latest wireless offerings. The K67 wireless keyboard boasts a sleek design and can be plugged in for added convenience. Additionally, the company has released a massive wireless mouse that rivals wired mice in performance. However, there's still a wire connecting the mouse to the charging pad.
Another notable release is Corsair's all-in-one liquid coolers, which come in two sizes: 360ml and 240mm. These powerful cooling systems are sure to keep your components running smoothly. On top of that, Corsair has unveiled an Ax 1600 power supply that packs a whopping 6000 watts.
Tempered Glass Cases Abound
Corsair is also showing off its new tempered glass cases, which promise to bring a touch of elegance to any gaming setup. Furthermore, the company's Spectre case features tempered glass and promises to provide unparalleled airflow.
TV News and Announcements
LG has decided not to release its previously announced TV at CES, opting instead to showcase a rollable 65-inch TV that can be used as a yoga mat or whatever you need it to be. Sony, on the other hand, is taking the high-end route with its new $50,000 projector, which boasts an impressive 120-inch image and HDR capabilities.
Acer's Thinnest Laptop Takes Center Stage
Acer has announced the world's thinnest laptop, measuring a mere millimeter in thickness. While there isn't much to say about this device beyond its slim design, it's sure to turn heads.
Razer's Lynda Laptop: A Weirder Announcement
Razer has released a more unique device with their Lynda laptop, which features a cell phone processor and promises to provide standalone VR experiences. However, the lack of detail surrounding this product leaves us wondering what exactly Razer is trying to achieve here.
NZXT's Motherboard: The Weirdest Announcement Yet?
NZXT has made waves in the PC building community with its new Z 370 motherboard, clad in NZXT-like armor and available in a range of color options. It may not be the most conventional release, but it certainly looks stunning.
Qualcomm's New Blue Control Chip
Qualcomm is bringing out a new blue control chip that promises to increase battery life for Bluetooth devices by a significant margin. This could be a game-changer for Apple EarPods users and those looking to extend their device's battery life.
Lenovo's Smart Display: A Tablet with AI Capabilities
Lenovo has released a smart display called the Lenovo Smart Display, which boasts an impressive screen size and Google Assistant integration. While it may seem like just another tablet, its ability to understand voice commands takes it beyond the realm of mere display technology.
That's all for now from CES 2023. Stay tuned for more updates as the show continues!
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay I think I'm ready for day two of CES coverage oh yeah and I think a good place to start is with just like pure gaming peripheral goodness Corsair has really been going to town in the CES they released a whole slew of new like wireless peripherals I think they've decided that Wireless is the future now they've got a wireless keyboard called the k67 was it 265 it's the K 60 something and it can also be plugged in they've also got the wireless massive they've released that they said is really good it's as good as a wired mouse just without the wire and then they've also released a wireless charging mouse pad so it's a mouse pad that you plug into I guess your PC and then it charges your wireless mouse when you use it now in theory that's a really good idea but it's still got a wire connecting the mouse pad to your PC so there's still a wire involved so it's not really wireless anyway they've also announced or actually I think they've finally released their new series of all-in-one liquid coolers now I've reported on the like rumor around them before but it's a 360 ml ride one and then there's a 240 millimeter radiator one as well and then they also announced a power supply an ax 1600 I it sounds like hyperbole but it's not it's a thousand six hundred watt power supply that's apparently very good and yes they also kind of sneak peek a new case which is all tempered glossy and then they also like everything as these days to be honest and then they also released a new kind of Spectre case which I think has tempered glass I think that's the difference okay let's move on to some TV news there is more peripheral news but TV news LG has decided that they're not gonna have the TV that they released a couple weeks ago be their big announcement for CES so they've shown off I think it's a 65 inch TV that's roll-up Irbil so means you can kind of like use it as a yoga mat or whatever and then Sony decided that they're gonna release the most goober fancy projector ever it's a $50,000 projector that stands kind of in front of your wall and it beams the image up onto it it's actually really cool looking but it's obviously very expensive it can be MUP a hundred and 20 inch image which can go up to 2500 bits of brightness and has HDR and is 4k and all of the good stuff and it's marble-topped for some reason and apparently it's also got a really complicated sound system in it as well but it just it honestly looks like kind of a cabinet you would store like your grandmother would store liquor in but just with more brushed aluminium and now moving on to laptops Acer has announced the world's thinnest laptop apparently you can also shave with it it's tiny and yes there's nothing more significant about it and then razor has announced a pretty weird laptop and it's called the Lynda as far as I can remember Linda sells mattresses don't they but anyway it's called the Lynda and it's like a laptop with like a Nintendo style II like doc in it and you can just like plug your razor phone into it and then your phone becomes a laptop now it wasn't really made particularly clear whether the laptop like boosts the performance of the phone I'm sure it does because they do say in the blurb that like then your snapdragon 835 phone becomes an android laptop I really hope that the innards of the phone isn't all that the laptop does performance wise because that would be a bit lame and seemingly pointless but they're all excited about it because you can like use the phone as a trackpad or as a secondary screen or whatever I don't know they really like releasing really odd laptop prototypes is the word at CES and then having Linus steal them so let's see what linus decides to do with linda and then let's move on to VR for well the second day so apparently sony says they're gonna have over 280 VR titles by the end of 2018 now let me know in the comments below if you're actually interested in VR because the only people I ever hear speaking about VR is like the developers bringing out stuff for the AR and anyway HTC wasn't done with their lamely named HTC probe ive thing they've actually also announced a wireless adapter for the for the valve which i think is quite cool I think that's way more exciting than the Pyro's vine because essentially it means that huge like like Avatar s ponytail connection with your computer isn't necessary anymore and it's all very low latency and stuff apparently and then oculus is bringing out like a more budget-friendly VR thing which is made by zoomy zoomy which is that chinese cell phone manufacturer and it has like a cell phone processor in it and is like a standalone thing so yes again let me know in the comments if you're actually interested in that kind of thing and then moving on to pretty much as the weirdest announcement up until this point at CES in my opinion NZXT is bringing out a motherboard for some reason super weird it's a Z 370 motherboard that's clad in very NZXT looking armor it's actually honestly it's actually a beautiful looking motherboard and you can get it in all kinds of different color combinations to match your case in the way that you do with NZXT products it actually yeah I'm surprised at how good it looks to be honest now these next two stories don't really connect but they're both interesting Qualcomm is bringing out a new blue control chip thing which apparently has a huge increase in battery life for Bluetooth devices so if you are an Apple earpods guy you can now Apple Airport for longer at a time and don't have to worry about the battery apparently they don't really say anything about it affecting its performance or anything and then lenovo has released a smart display they call it it's like this small thing about that size that is a screen in it and you put it down in your house and you speak at it and then it plays your iTunes at you or you know you can have a conversation with Google assistant if you want you now Lenovo they kind of I don't know it seems as though they think they're being really innovative with this thing but it's just a tablet it's like oh it's like a smart display that you have but it's it's a tablet if that's all they're announcing is a tablet that they've just given a weird name I think I pretty much covered everything for day two of CES if you like the video do like and subscribe and if you think that some of your friends need more kind of CES information in their life but they're too lazy to read through all the articles themselves do share this video with them because you know the more you know I guess anyway thank you very much for watching and see you tomorrow for day three
