**Playstation 5 Unboxed: First Impressions**

I'm here with a usbc on the front, see if I get that on camera, usbc and a usb, so there's one of each there. I'm guessing power and maybe reset right here or power and pair who knows optical drive because I'm telling you right now if they think that digital is going to be the winner, I hope they're sadly mistaken. Us collectors need to stand up for that gamers rise up, or gamers #hashtag no digital I don't know, collectors will be collectors, and that's just it man. I want to put this next to a Series X so bad, so let's take a look at the back of it. I gotta say though that is really flimsy. Do you see that? Let's see if I can bring it closer there and take a look at this. That is disgustingly flimsy; it looks like I'm playing with some sort of Alienware. So on the back, you have your standard laptop power supply plug-in right there, HDMI network, and two more USB 3s.

So not a whole lot to it. Um, I gotta say I'm gonna be I know this is gonna be a horrible thing to say, and I don't know how an Xbox feels at this point, so I can't say that an Xbox feels better or not. But plastic feels really cheap. Other than that, there's a lot; there's a decent oomph to it. So it's not you know this light piece of junk, I mean it's not heavy but it is massive. People were talking about the Series X being so big and how hard it's going to be to put in a gaming setup or whatever. I think they need to rethink what they were saying shooting their mouths off.

Playstation fanboys, I'm sorry this thing's massive, and I would just zip it at that point because this ain't small; maybe they're gonna make you know how they do uh revisions later and then there's a smaller one, and so on. But at this point, no this thing is not small; it has a bit of weight to it. I don't like the plastic on the outside; I find that I don't know I mean it's not like you're going to be walking up doing this but when you're looking at something you want to review or check it over for the first time, you're going to feel things, and I don't know that just feels really chintzy.

Other than that, it doesn't feel horrible, and I mean like really what kind of supports really going to be here anywhere? I know what they're going for; they're going for this towery look, and then the lighting coming down. So I guess there's got to be some flex there at least it's not going to crack or break. I mean I hope not but it is what it is.

Is there a reason to own this other than some new titles that you may not get, and I say may not who knows um that's the thing right; is the PS4 still valid did this just kick the poop out of the vs of the PS4 who knows so what we're going to do in the next video when I do a video next on this is we're going to do side-by-side comparisons with the same game, PS4 versus the PS5. before christmas but i know how it is they do this christmas lunch or this holiday rush and it's just so hard and with the pandemic it's gotten worse because you can't even line up the buy one it's just been an absolute nightmare but anyway let's check and see what's in these things and find out what we got so guys sit back relax if you're not subscribed to channel i do recommend because i do get to come across nice toys like this to play around with and check over and also the wonderful world of gaming and the wonderful world of pc gaming and custom pcs so let's check it out blue huh blue almost the same blue huh let's see what happens let's see what we got oh it's kind of like the uh vr box where when you open it the flaps open it the flaps come up just like the vr i remember unboxing the vr a while back and haven't even been able to use it for the whole two and a half years that i've owned it and now you're greeted with a box inside the box that's all white with just the black playstation logo kind of clean kind of nice good thing to have the sleeve on i get why they do that so if they do a limited edition or whatever they can change what's inside the box all i have to do is change the outside sleeve so at least now nothing is taped or or sealed anymore it's just that outer sleeve so i guess we should open this first okay so right away you're greeted with your playstation 5 manual or operations or you know anything goes wrong please contact if it catches on fire at first guys i thought the power cord was wrapped by an elastic and i'm like how cheap is that but it's actually a beige twist tie so you're gonna probably hear my dog in the background again he doesn't know how to stop barking sometimes so we're working on that so what's in here oh there's something oh okay so now you get your hdmi cable uh weird huh guys not one playstation logo on that anywhere it's a very generic cable that's weird because usually they have a playstation logo or like with xbox they'll have an xbox logo on it trying to show that it you know at least their quality their their stamp product or whatever and it just doesn't have it and then in this bag again i don't know what any of this stuff's for because i've never seen one i don't even know if any of it does i guess it's some sort of stand because that's rubberized looks like the playstation probably locks onto here so yeah there in the picture shows something like that so there's your stand which i'm probably not going to bother using it's just kind of cool to know that it's there that actually is an added bonus because the original the ps4 did not come with the stand and and that upset me because i want to have my ps4 vertical like my xbox one uh for my game room purposes because it just looks a lot nicer and i can't because i can't buy the vertical stand anywhere so if you guys know where i can get the vertical stand please let me know because i can't find them just leave a a email link or something to me so in here we have another cable again freaks me out because it looks like it's uh an elastic but it's not it's a brown remember those old garbage bag ties the older people are definitely going to know and there's not even playstation logos on this usbc cable it's just generic i'm finding this really uh oh no no there's just a usb logo i find that like almost like you're cheaping out on something here and maybe they have to like when i get a chance to open an xbox one uh or xbox series x we'll find out who's who here because this just feels kind of like a cop-out like a total cop out um i know it's it's little things but it's the little things sometimes that just just you know the little added you're paying good money for these things and the little things sometimes just make that difference is the cables high quality well i hope so right but they don't have the playstation logo on them let me know down the road if you get one of these and you open it and i have playstation engraved logos in them i want to know about it because that just tells me that they threw it in there to get it out for launch and then they came out with their product later that just upsets me now we're going to look at the controller this will be my first wow that has weight that's kind of cool look at this so you have your uh regular type of uh i guess that uh almost like plastic foam uh wrap but then it's see-through and a part of it which kind of weird because you would think that that would be like showing the controller but showing the back of it you think it'd be showing the front of it or something so let's take a look at what this looks like wow you know what i'm an xbox boy but this really feels good this really feels good um the one thing that i'll give sony credit for is the battery is built in for recharging even i believe on the uh series x they're double a batteries and the charge things are an add-on i don't know why microsoft continues to do that but they do now i guess in a sense it it's better in the long run that i don't have to try and take this apart to hardwire or unblock or plug in a battery because there's a lot more work to that and according to how this looks you're not taking this apart there's no screws so this is not going to be coming apart easily so it's going to be all haps locks and that's something of course we're going to see on youtube at some point but at this point this is not this is a sealed unit and that makes it really hard to do anything after market on but it's a gorgeous controller it feels gorgeous this is the best playstation controller by far it feels really good and for me to say that is a lot uh i've never liked the playstation controller a whole lot oh that feels really good huh i'm almost almost sold almost sold like that is that's really good the only thing i find kind of odd here and i i guess i won't know until i really start playing with it the d-pad the whole thing moves i i don't know you think they would have been uh individual uh buttons but that's kind of weird but i mean it still may be for the best i guess i don't know that that's that's interesting and that is something yet to be uh checked out so now we know what's in there so that's what's in the uh contents box so let's just get this out of the way because i really really really want to see what this thing looks like now i'm wondering too is it massive like this box is huge is it massive like i don't know what is bigger again i've never seen uh an xbox series x for real i've never seen one of these for real like it's just that big that big i had to get my wife down here i know it sounds sad this thing's got a bit of weight to it and uh believe it or not i was having trouble getting out of the box um and just for people that don't know it's due to my car accident not not because i'm uh you know weak that's i'm strong oh smell isn't everything though all right let's take a look at this
