The Our Komodo S Arcade: A Three-Wheeled Electric Vehicle that's Turning Heads
As we glance at this three-wheeled electric vehicle, it's clear that there's a lot going on here. We've got motorcycle handlebars, with the throttle located right here on the right side for reverse, and up here on the handlebars, we've got regen braking. This technology reminds me of the BMW i8, which I spent the weekend with about a year ago. The Our Komodo S Arcade is made by a company out of Eugene, Oregon, and this isn't the first time they've created something like this, but it's definitely their latest and greatest version.
Compared to its predecessor, this latest model has been heavily modified. They've shaved down the weight from 1,700 pounds to just 1,000 pounds, making it significantly lighter and more agile. Additionally, they've dropped the price pretty significantly, with the Our Komodo S Arcade now costing $11,900. As an electric vehicle, we can expect a lot of torque off the line as soon as we hit that throttle. However, I'm told that this prototype version only has 60% throttle capacity. Despite this limitation, it's still incredibly impressive how quickly and smoothly this thing moves.
One of the standout features of the Our Komodo S Arcade is its suspension system, which makes it look like something straight out of an Indy car or F1 car. This setup also contributes to a remarkably smooth ride, especially considering the vehicle's low profile. The fact that we're being dragged along by the motors up front adds to this effect, making it feel even more thrilling to drive. It's clear that this vehicle is designed for high-performance and handling.
Despite its sleek and futuristic design, the Our Komodo S Arcade feels surprisingly safe. This is likely due to careful consideration of safety features during its development. For example, we've had issues with hydraulic brake systems in the past, but these were largely related to prototype testing. In this case, our Komodo is a fully functional vehicle that has been tested extensively.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Our Komodo S Arcade is its acceleration. With 0-60 mph coming in around 7 seconds, it's clear that this vehicle packs a punch. Even the prototype version manages to hit 0-60 in about 10.2 seconds, which is still incredibly fast for an electric vehicle. Whether you're cruising through the city or trying out on open stretches of highway, this thing can have a lot of fun.
In addition to its impressive acceleration, the Our Komodo S Arcade also boasts some unique features that set it apart from other vehicles. For example, it's got windshields that go all the way up and over, allowing you to look straight up at the sky without any obstructions. This is similar to the Tesla Model X, which has a similarly impressive design element.
After spending time with the Our Komodo S Arcade, we can see why it's generating so much buzz. Not only does it handle incredibly well and accelerate quickly, but its futuristic design makes it a head-turner wherever you go. With its low profile, smooth ride, and stunning appearance, this three-wheeled electric vehicle is sure to be a hit with car enthusiasts around the world. Whether you're looking for an exciting new way to get around or simply want to see what the future of transportation might hold, the Our Komodo S Arcade is definitely worth checking out.

off we've got motorcycle handlebars here got the throttle right here on the right for reverse up here on the handlebars this one's importantly that regen braking so while you're driving he gives some of that life back to the battery it reminds me a lot of the BMW i8 in the weekend that we spent with that a little over a year ago because you can't really bring this thing anywhere without people stopping you for pictures or asking me what it is or how they can own one or where they could ride it this is made by a company out of Eugene Oregon and this is not the first time they've ever made something like this but this is definitely the latest and greatest from the last version of this one they've shaved the weight down from 1,700 pounds to a thousand pounds they also dropped the price pretty significantly now this thing costs 11900 it's an electric vehicle so we get a lot of torque off the line as soon as you get on that throttle but I've been told that this prototype version only has 60% throttle it's kind of hard to believe because it really moves when you hit it and you kind of get that that fun jolt back in your seat that effect is doubled by the fact that the motors are up here in the front so you're being dragged along by this thing the other really gnarly thing about the front wheels and the whole setup up here is the suspension which is totally why it looks like something off of an Indy car or an f1 car or something and it makes the ride really really smooth we're also really down low which helps with that stability it looks like a really crazy vehicle but it's really safe at least it feels that way but I should mention this was the second time that we tried to take the ARCA moto out during CES the first time we tried we had some problems with the hydraulic brake system the keep in mind these were prototype vehicles and our Komodo is not just some company that showed up at CES that we've never heard of before we had some faith in what they were able to do and we wanted to take the S arcade back out on the road so we got another chance later in the week this thing does 0 to 60 in about 7 seconds this prototype version is doing about 0-60 about 1002 40 who picked this fast hit that is fun you could have you could never leave the city and have a lot of fun with this thing but getting on an open stretch like that is highly recommended the other really cool thing about this vehicle is I rising a lot of the Tesla Model X you've got this windshield that goes all the way up and over you can look straight up at the sky but now that we got a chance to move let's look forward let's give this thing some gas or some charge where the hill Ohthis is the our Komodo s arcade it's a three-wheeled electric vehicle we're a little bit fungible
