iPhone 13 - Don't Wait

**iPhone 13 Pro Release Delayed to Last Year's iPhone 12**

In a shocking turn of events, it appears that Apple was going to make its way to last year's phone, the iPhone 12, due to battery life issues. According to John Prosser, a tech analyst and personal friend of the channel, the decision to not implement the 120Hz refresh rate on the iPhone 12 Pro was due to these concerns. With 5G being the first introduction of it, which was going to be a big drain on battery life, Apple decided to hold off on implementing the feature until they could resolve the issue.

This decision is not surprising, given that many competitors had already implemented 120Hz refresh rates in their latest flagships, such as the Samsung Galaxy series and the OnePlus. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, which was one of the first devices to feature a 120Hz display, was able to support this feature due to its larger battery size.

However, with the release of the iPhone 13, it seems that Apple has finally addressed these concerns and implemented the 120Hz refresh rate across all models. The dummy units of the new iPhone 13 have been leaked, showcasing a thinner design and bigger batteries to support the higher refresh rate screen. This is expected to result in improved battery life and overall performance.

**Camera Upgrades and Sensor Shift**

The camera upgrades on the iPhone 13 are looking promising, with rumors suggesting that Apple will introduce sensor shift technology for better stabilization, reduced noise, and improved low-light performance on the ultra-wide-angle lens. The current ultra-wide angle lens on the iPhone 12 has a aperture of f/2.4, but MacRumors is reporting that it may be upgraded to f/1.8 in the iPhone 13.

This upgrade would result in better light intake and improved image quality, especially in low-light conditions. Additionally, the resolution on the ultra-wide-angle lens will also increase from 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels, providing a significant boost in image sharpness. It's worth noting that this upgrade is expected to be shared across all iPhone 13 models, not just the Pro line.

**Portrait Mode Video and New Colors**

The iPhone 13 is also rumored to feature Portrait mode video, which will likely be available in beta at launch. This feature was previously only available on the Pro line, but Apple seems to be expanding its reach by making it more widely available. The new iPhone 13 models are also expected to feature new colors, including a "Sunset Gold" hue that looks like a bronzy color.

**Matte Black Color and Touch ID**

There have been rumors circulating online about a new matte black color being introduced on the iPhone 13. This color option would be a welcome addition for those who prefer a more subtle design. However, it's worth noting that there are conflicting reports about this feature, and it may not make it to the final product.

Additionally, Touch ID has been mentioned as a possible feature in the iPhone 14, but not on the current models. This is because Touch ID has become a priority for many consumers, especially with the rise of mask-wearing. Apple seems to be focusing on other biometric features, such as Face ID, and may introduce Touch ID in future models.

**Release Date and Availability**

The release date for the iPhone 13 is expected to be September 14th, 2021, which marks the typical third week of September when new iPhones are revealed. The exact details of the new models' availability have not been confirmed yet, but it's likely that pre-orders will go live shortly after the announcement.

As for whether or not consumers should wait or upgrade to the iPhone 13, it ultimately depends on personal preference and needs. While the older generation of phones may still offer great value, the features on the new iPhone 13 are certainly enticing. If high refresh rate is a top priority, it's worth considering the iPhone 13 Pro for its impressive display and performance.

But if budget is a concern or you're not particular about having the latest and greatest technology, waiting for older models may be a more affordable option. Ultimately, the decision to wait or upgrade is up to individual consumers, and we'll have to see how these rumors pan out when the iPhone 13 is officially released.

iphone since the iphone 10 which came out back in 2017 it's where the selfie camera and face id are always stored the endless ming chi quo back in march predicted that the iphone 13 will have a smaller notch that means they're getting a little more screen real estate back utilization of that extra space comes down to the new version of ios otherwise it's just going to be like wasted pixels i'm curious to see if the current notch bothers any of you out there if a smaller notch is gonna be viewed as an upgrade for me though just having a notch is a notch at this point it doesn't matter what size it is i will say though if shrinking it can actually show me a battery percentage the upper right hand corner then then i'm all for it so the software it's ios 15 obviously you run on older phones going all the way back personally this is the first beta that i haven't done in like five or six years there's just nothing really compelling to me right now that makes me want to risk the bugs and dealing with with beta and developer previews having said that though perhaps there's something new a hidden feature in ios 15 that only will reveal itself when the iphone 13 comes out i'm not holding my breath at least something to hope for so it's been speculated like i don't know probably to death uh that when maxie got introduced last year it would usher in the portless iphone which does not appear to be making its way this year probably seems about two generations or more away so apple's got to do a few things before that happens so apple's got to catch up with proper fast charging and data transfer through magsafe then i think we'll be probably ready to to ditch that port all together until then though lightning ports staying around give up all hope for usb type c which i don't think we are ever going to see on an iphone if you watch my videos you know if there's one hill when it comes to the iphone i will climb up on and plant my flag is that that phone needs a high refresh display for the price they are charging 60 hertz ain't gonna cut it and it looks like the 13 pro is going to 120 hertz all the screens they're very least 90 hertz just not 60 anymore uh this rumor has kind of been on again off again for at least the past year but it does look like it is going to be here make its way to the pro models i still say inexcusable to not make its way to the regular models um but high refresh rates are amazing if you haven't used it on the android side i think they're make the experience so much better and smoother and every time i go back to an iphone it's very apparent to me that the refresh rate is just not up to par the flagships on the outside chance that this somehow does not make it into the iphone 13 pro line i could not give the phone a bigger wait until it comes than promotion display it's probably a personal thing it matters a lot to me maybe it doesn't to you but if it's not here i say still sit outside next year i am not by in the iphone 12 pro max so better stabilization for video less noise and low light for the ultra wide focal length seems like a winner all around the biggest rumor though right now is an improvement to the ultra wide angle lens so right now the aperture on the ultra wide on the iphone 12 is f 2.4 but mac rumors are suggesting the aperture is going to go this is a big change it's f 1.8 on the iphone 13 so again the just in case you didn't know the lower the aperture the more light the lens lets in resulting in better looking images in low light uh also looks like we're getting a bump on resolution which is crazy long overdue from 12 megapixel on the wide to 48 which is obviously you know four times as much which should make your photos even sharper uh the article also suggests this upgrade is going to be shared across all iphone 13 models not just the expensive pro line so i'm here for that uh also expect portrait mode video to make an appearance on the new iphone 13 most likely though to only be in beta at launch similar to how portrait was uh and deep fusion so apple seems to be adding new colors to each generation of iphone 13 looks to be no exception it should be a new reported by a combination of everything apple pro uh and max weinbach both of which i think have pretty reliable track records and if you're a fan of the mini phone then here's a big reason not to
