This week in the tech news: No Xbox one ☓ stock, cheaper GTX 1070s and Iphone X troubles

**This Week in Tech News**

Hello and welcome to what's definitely **the** this week in the news episode with my least ridiculous hair. This is just getting absolutely ridiculous, I don't know why everybody keeps releasing products having no stock available for it at all.

**Microsoft's Xbox Conundrum**

The first story starts off with Microsoft claiming that there might not be much stock available of the new Xbox thing that they're releasing soon. They're saying that some retailers are even not going to release it or gonna have it available on the first day of release because well, they're not gonna have any stock and it's only gonna start selling the week after. Which is kind of misses the point - why don't you just build on stock of something and then sell it and then bring it to this to the shelves? I don't really understand why you're doing this.

People seem to generally be quite excited about the new Xbox, it's gonna be retailing for about $500. And yes, apparently it's going to be pretty good if you can get your hands on it. So it seems as though the Apple iPhone 10 or X (however you get you plan on referring to it) isn't having the greatest week.

**iPhone Repair Costs**

Reportedly, it's going to be way more expensive than other any other iPhone to repair, which every iPhone is way more expensive than every other refer to repair. So I don't really know how much they're expecting you to pay for a broken screen, but supposedly it's gonna be a lot.

**Top-Secret Engineer**

Then some engineer that's reportedly working on the iPhone 10 and/or X brought his daughter to work and apparently forgot to tell her that you aren't allowed to vlog while in essentially a top-secret engineering facility. So she kind of did some some vlogging of her with the iPhone 10 and/or X, and well now the engineer been fired and this video has actually gone viral on the Internet.

Everybody's really excited about it, but apparently this specific iPhone 10 + or X contained a lot of information that was quite valuable to actual employees working at the company. Yeah, so that guy's not working there anymore and well at least his daughter got a huge amount of views out of the process.

**Cheaper Graphics Cards**

And now for some cheaper news on through all of that very expensive news you know with the Xbox one being quite quite pricey and the fact that you're gonna have to sell off your firstborn child just to repair the screen on your iPhone 10 + or X. Video of all companies has decided to actually drop the price on one of their graphics cards, which is pretty much unheard of.

I don't know the last time that that's happened, beginning of the year maybe I'm not sure. Anyway they've announced that they're gonna be dropping the price of the GTX 1070 from $400 to $399 (sorry for the foundress Edition) down to $320 something dollars, which is quite a big price drop and a bit of a dick move to be honest.

Because Vega 56 just has no place to hide now Nvidia is being weirdly vengeful towards it first of all they release a new graphics card that's competing directly with it and that's probably gonna defecate all over its grave. And now they're dropping the price of the previous competitors are even lower, so yeah there's just nothing left for it to do except not be available anywhere.

**That's All Folks**

Anyway, with that it brings me to the end of the shortest ever episode of this week in the tech news. I'm sorry that it's not as overly long as it normally is but work scheduling doesn't allow for me to make it as as painfully long. Anyway thank you very much for watching if you liked the video do like and subscribe to the channel share it with your friends if you don't want them to talk to you anymore, and yeah I think that's pretty much all the blogging I can do. Thank you for watching!
