BEA BOOK HAUL 2016.
**Book Haul and Anticipated Releases**
I recently had the opportunity to attend a book convention and came across some exciting new releases that I couldn't wait to share with my audience. As a fan of reading, I was thrilled to see so many great books on display, and I couldn't resist the urge to take them home with me.
One of the first books I picked up was "Frazzled" by BA, which is the debut novel of a young author. I was immediately drawn in by the adorable black-and-white doodles throughout the book, which added an extra layer of charm to the story. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and neuroses myself, I found it relatable and engaging, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this talented writer.
Another book that caught my eye was "The Bookish Babe" by Faye, which is a middle-grade novel about a girl named Abby Blue navigating the ups and downs of middle school. I was impressed by the author's unique style and the way she incorporated doodles throughout the book, making it feel like a personalized journal for readers.
**Publisher's Picks**
I also had the opportunity to meet with publisher Hopper, who is publishing Faye's debut novel. It was exciting to see that they were taking such an innovative approach to marketing and promoting books, including using tote bags and stickers featuring the book's title and cover art. The tote bag I picked up featured the phrase "I Read YA" on it, which made me smile.
Hopper also shared with me some of their upcoming releases, including "The Book Shimmy" by Scholastic, which features a unique logo and design that's sure to appeal to fans of young adult fiction. They also had a collection of tote bags featuring the titles of various books, including "Replica", "Stranger in Yellow Brick", and more.
**Awards and Recognition**
In addition to the new releases, I was thrilled to see some exciting awards and recognition on display at the convention. I picked up a tote bag from Simon & Schuster that featured the phrase "Readers Read Books" on it, which made me feel like I was part of something special.
I also came across a poster featuring the title "Tells of Peculiar" by Penguin, which caught my eye due to its unique design and matching cover. The poster read "Read Before You Blink", which made me curious about the book's premise.
**Collectibles and Memorabilia**
In addition to the books themselves, I was also excited to see some fun collectibles and memorabilia on display at the convention. I picked up a coaster featuring the title of "Shadowhunters" by Simon & Schuster, which I knew would be a great addition to my bookshelf.
I also came across a poster from First in Line that featured the phrase "I Read Blink Before You Did", which made me smile and wonder what the book was about. Although I'm still waiting for reviews of this book, I couldn't resist picking it up and adding it to my growing collection of books.
**Conclusion**
Overall, I had an amazing time at the book convention, and I left with a huge haul of new releases that I couldn't wait to dive into. From "Frazzled" by BA to "The Book Shimmy" by Scholastic, there's something for every reader on this list. Whether you're a fan of middle-grade novels or young adult fiction, there's sure to be something here that catches your eye.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhere's a pillow my name is Emma and today I'm going to be giving you guys my haul for ba of 2016 this is my first video ever I got a ton of free books and some extra goodies that I really want to show you guys so we're just gonna get right into that whole because there is a lot of stuff on here now there is no particular order for the way that I'm showing you guys this book I really wanted to do it like I got these books the first day I'm using ebooks the second day in these books the third day but there's too many on here I remember the orders so we're just gonna show you all the works like that the first thing I'm going to be showing you guys is replica by Lauren Oliver just take a minute to appreciate how crazy awesome this argost package I mean look you open it and there's the book and then you know slowly to the other side so replicas is really interesting because halfway through the book about we have a total switch a point of view tying the same story so we run up gathered from other people talking about it in publicist and authors and that you can either read one full book and then read the other or you can alternate chapters where you chapter one image Emma and chapter one of Lyra chapter two of Gemma and chapter two of Lyra it sounds like a super interesting concept alone so I'm really interested in this book for that but the plot of this book seems really intriguing to we follow a girl named Gemma who is one half of this book and her father basically runs an institute that has been getting a lot of backlash lately for running some really crazy experiments that nobody has any idea what they are about and so on Emma's mission to find out really what her father's hiding she meets a girl named Lyra who is one of the girls who are inside of the Institute and basically they team out together to find out what the sexual Institute is from demmas perspective and what is like outside of the Institute from Lyra's perspective it sounds really interesting a high-energy fast-paced really really epic story and I'm really really excited for it I've only read one Lauren Oliver book previously and I was really satisfied by panic but the hype around replica has been so crazy this past PDA that it sounds like it's gonna be really really good you guys about this ha is another one that is packaged beautifully it says open me with a heart on it and it's really nice so I wonder what this art could be it's heartless by Marissa Meyer ruthless was definitely one of my most engines being arcs for be a get in this arc was absolutely crazy there were only 90 being released the first day when I got it and they did set up Alliance was just a massive people and I was like I'm LM getting this book I can't do it there's too many people luckily I got it and I met Marissa Meyer she signed it by saying to Emma off with your head Marissa Meyer and so I'm really really excited for this book long story short this is basically the tale of how the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland turns evil to give you the actual synopsis it follows a girl named Katharine who was in this world she really just wants to live a normal life she wants to be a baker and then with her best friend but the king of morons has shown some interest in her and obviously everyone wants her to be married off to the king so on the night of the ball where everyone is suspecting Katharine to receive the Kings proposal she meets the court Joker named Jess and they instantly fall in love not against Julia but like it's why a we all know insta-love they fall in love and crazy shouldn't happen so basically they are entering this forbidden romance as Katherine is being pursued by the King of Hearts and it just sounds like it's gonna have it really heartbreak again because obviously the Queen of Hearts doesn't come out very very nice I just wanted you to see how this romance kind of ties into the role of the right queen that we know today it's done so so great I'm really excited for it definitely another one of the most anticipated arcs of the entire week and I'm just so happy I have it now next thing I want to show you guys another really interested arc that I didn't even know was going to be a PDA but it is Gemini these peoples who illuminae by amie kaufman and jay kristoff know i didn't know this until this morning actually when I was reading the synopsis but it actually tastes like that a different point of view from illuminates I'm assuming all three books are going to be at different points in the story with different characters no spoilers for illuminate but Jonah does take place on the aftermath of illuminae where we need a girl named Hannah who is on the hemmond doll her hip Heimdall Pinedale ship I don't really want to see more about this I really don't want to spoil eliminate if you have a run illuminate you better read illuminate but Gemini just sounds so awesome I love the cover and I'm just so excited to dive back into this world and dive back into this book with all these cool emails and photos and just everything I loved about illuminate I'm really excited to see it in a new point of view from Gemini so the first enemy I actually went up to dinner with I'm Samara his publicist Meredith and a bunch of other booktubers that I love by the end of the dinner after all the good food and good conversation Meredith brought out a couple of books that are being published this year from Soho teen that I'm really really excited to show you guys the first of those books being it wasn't always like this by joy pebbles Peppa pribyl joy people I know this book existed until I received a copy of it but it's actually already out now as of this video being uploaded so you're interested you can definitely run out towards the noble and crevice immediately it wasn't like this follows a girl named Emma whose family and group of people that she was staying with took it out like so previously that would make them immortal and so there is this organization called the Church of like that sets out to kill anyone who's taken me a lick sir luckily Emma and her friend that she's in love with named Charlie survived but her entire family is dead so I meant Charlie have been in the rods in the Church of light for an extremely long time with them being immortal at all and Emma discovers there are a string of murders of girls that look almost exactly like her that suggests that maybe the Church of Light is closer than things like this book just sounds so epic I mean I'm nervous with how short it is because it sounds like it needs a lot of pages to get through everything that's going on but I have really high hopes for this just because this is not this is so so great and as soon as I finish this book because I'm definitely gonna be running it soon I will let you know what I think thinking of items of error the next book I have on this list is history's all you left me by item salera which comes out in January of 2017 he also signed it and said Emma thanks for being a badass about us he said that twice ok autumn and forgive my Twitter busy with every Shadowhunters to be possible team Alec forever Adams Almera PS I have to pee so badly so get me out of here I love this man mysteries I love me apology boy named Griffin whose childhood love has recently died and he's feeling really depressed his OCD that just keeps getting worse and worse and worse so a grave struck in Griffin goes off in this journey to find Theo's boyfriend before he died in college and they kind of had this unlikely friendship that reveals in both of their groups of being in love with the same person it sounds really intense I think something we're happy to know where I'm just gonna cry and like there's not gonna be a happy moment in this book but it sounds really really great I'm so excited to Rita and it really would implore you all to pick up more happy than not and then history is all you left me once it's out because I'm on this list is the Sun is also star by Nicola Hyun I haven't read nucleons everything everything but I really really wanted to a little this covers so much look at it I heard that they actually had to do all of these string work properly and then they put it onto a camera and like put onto a computer so just the effort that went into this cover is amazing in itself the sounds also Starr sounds really interesting it's all about this girl named Natasha whose family is about to be deported back to Jamaica from New York City when she meets a boy named Daniel who's going through his own kind of thing Daniel is the good student the good son but he's I've been able to pursue any of the dreams that he really wanted to feels like he's kind of living this false life until he meets Natasha on the day that she's being deported so I'm assuming it's a to point of new kind of story about these two people falling in love in the unlikeliest of situations I hear nothing but good things not Nicole Ian's work and I really really enjoyed talking to her when I did meet her but her new book sounds so awesome it sounds like the best contemporary of a composite I get this supper it comes out in November I'm really really excited to read it and I hope you guys are too the next one on this list is holding the universe by Jennifer Niven actually met her and she signed this one as well Shira Emma you are wanted Jennifer Neumann and another like her she had it blue is blue like the cover so holy of the universe I'll be honest I've heard some controversy around this I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to receive this book especially because I wasn't a big fan of all the right places holding the universe pause a girl named Libby who has been dubbed America's fattest teen and as she is reintegrating into society and going back to school she's finding that really difficult not to because of her physique but of how everyone believes they know her from like I'm assuming like new stories and whatnot of being America's fattest teen I'd also follow the boy names Jack who was kind of a popular kid he's got a lot of friends but it turns out that he's unable to recognize faces and even his family look like strangers to him so the nother unlikely love story with these two people who were kind of misfits in their own way find each other and find hope and love through each other and I'm definitely have higher hopes for this one than all the right places but I'm going into a pretty neutral I know it's super inches that paid it I'm definitely entreated to see what holds true in this book yes look at this listen another one that was highly anticipated for me which was furthermore by Tahereh Mafi it says Emma read on her Muffy I love her handwriting she's so cute oh my god I'd love to harm off you so much for the word father girl these Alexis whose father has gone missing and she has to delve into the world up furthermore to find him so in this world and furthermore basically not everything is what it seems down paper is a live left is right and wrong I just sounds like a really crazy confusing role that this girl alexis is going to go through and I love the cover I'm really really interested to see what this book hold and it was another one of my most anticipated books to get from bei is from in this list is the edge of everything by Jeff Giles this one follows a girl named Zoe whose father has recently died and they're in the middle of this gigantic blizzard where her brother is dying in a cabin and so silly and her brother are rescued by a boy named X and so I feel access kind of like the stereotypical brooding hero he never really knew love he's misery and hate and pain and so really what I can gather from this is that Zoe next team up together to escape this blizzard and escape the world there and it sounds like a really cool concept and definitely interested to see where it goes and I was like planning on getting this book I was kind of just handed it with another arc but it sounds really cool I really enjoy the cover and I'm relation to see how they're going to get out of this place called the lowlands the UNESCO this is my sister Rosa by Justine Lara Paulus steer this is another argument at the end of Silveira dinner by his publicist and it's basically an Australian novel that's being published in America which I'm really really interested about my sister Rosa is all about this voice Shay whose family is now moving from Australia to America and they're on the plane and shades for sister Rosa isn't your stereotypical little ten-year-olds girl she believes that Rosa is a psychopath she's had a really rough time in Australia but she hasn't killed anyone and she's afraid that in the heart of New York City that's where the psychopathic tendencies he knows that her are really going to flourish so though that she's struggled from on to be a normal teenager but also protect Rosa from the world and protect the world from Rosa I hadn't really read a book like this before I am really really interested to see what directions it's going to go in especially as somebody who's been studying like criminal psych in forensic psychology why not it sounds like a really really great book for me and I've been hearing some buzz about on booktube so I'm really really excited for this one Phoenix for my list is archival hearts by crystal southern men this sounds like another really great cute summer contemporary by a boy named Henry who wants nothing more than to fall in love she's trying to find the right person throughout high school but you just haven't found her yet until it girl named Grace walks into his new book club I'm so grace has greasy hair and she has oversized boy clothes and not anything that Henry had really expected to be his dream girl but grace and Harry are put on to edit these school paper together and this unlikely friendship kind of arises through that and maybe grace I'd be more than what she seems on the exterior like I said another cute contemporary I think is in me really really interested I hadn't really heard anything about this book the cover is really pretty minimalistic though so I like that in itself and if you've heard anything about any of these books so far I'd really really love to know the next one on this list is actually a chamfer sampler for it because of the peculiar by ransom Riggs so this one is also signed to Emma from ransom riggs and I had a really great time meeting him I actually haven't finished it's home for peculiar children yet I really really want to I just it's not so high oh I TV are hollow City and library of souls I still had a read but tells of the peculiar is basically all the different fairy tales that were actually in the peculiar world obviously this is really really sure and not like a very long chapter sampler in itself but I think it's really interesting that now we get all of you different fairy tales that we've heard about in the story I don't know if I have to finish the books to read this so if you finished all of them and know more about tales of the peculiar than I do please let me know because otherwise I won't dive into this until I finished this series I will really eventually I promise I just I have to push through and say I'm gonna go out I'm gonna buy hollow City and I'm gonna read hollow City and then I'll eventually read tales of the peculiar be an expert on this list is girl and pieces by Katherine Glasgow this is another art that I wasn't like crazy map getting but it was not the same I was like hey why not huh from what I can gather with this book is a girl who's suffering from depression who was enacting a lot of self-harm because of all the things that are going on in her life and it's time just like another coming-of-age story and about growing it to your own skin the synopsis itself sounds very very triggering personally I think I'll be okay with it but honestly some of the things that are just in the synopsis made me really wary of telling people like I got this book it's another great mental illness recommendation I'll definitely we're gonna Avenue just see where it's gonna go and I'll give you an update on if it's actually as triggering as I think it is at first plans though the synopsis is a wall graphic it might actually be that the rawness of the story it makes it a really true representation which I'm always always in for so I'll little let you know why are my thoughts on girl in pieces once I get to it you're never going out a VA is fair in fat parts by Sarah Maria Griffin this is a steampunk novel and I still have not heard you punk novel other than the fronds of Isis so I was very very interested to get this arc this is all about a girl named Nell who is living in a world where after this disaster everyone is missing spare parts whether it be their leg their arm their eye but now is the only one who's living with a mechanical heart and her father is the person that is replacing all these body parts of people who miss them in this whole disaster and that's really locking out there from the synopsis but I'm very very interested in this alone especially because the steampunk genre is very attractive to me even though I have learned a lot of it yet I also just don't know of a lot of steampunk novels so I think spider-man parts is going to be a really really great book for me next one I have from BA three dark crowns by Andrew Blake or kinder Blake sure let's go with that this is not a story about three sisters who live in a world where they are meant to compute to be queen each of the three sisters has different powers that on the night of their 16th birthday they are meant to start competing to the death to be the queen of this land the other comment that is two out of the three sisters don't really have any control over the powers and so that puts the one sister who is already very powerful at an advantage so I'm very very interested to see where the story is going to go I think the family dynamic in it alone is very interesting because we don't get a lot of books about family interacting with each other in young adults but it sounds like a really epic fantasy I'm really really excited to read it and I haven't heard about this before going to be a but it sounds like a lot of people are really interested in this book so I definitely am going to be reading this one soon I'm really sorry that I'm like out of breath I can't bring out my nose and I'm losing my voice so it's just like a whole lot of things going on in my head that we're making filming really difficult but still trying next one I have is stealing snow by Daniel page which is a new retelling from the author of Dorothy must die since I was every time of The Snow Queen that you guys might have heard of is the inspiration for frozen the story follows a girl who's been locked into a mental institution when she decided that this isn't like she wants to live and she breaks out into the real world so snow who is the main character is Steve suspenseful institution she stressed into this world where apparently she's in charge of this kingdoms you didn't know bad has to go on this epic journey to find that Kingdom and it's all about it's actually real or is this 13 and why she was put into this institution it sounds really really interesting and I really enjoyed the first book in the Dorothy must die series so I'm definitely definitely excited to read this book the next one I have is a warped by Lev Grossman and this is actually a very short book but it is the full book such as to chapter Sandler I don't really know what this book is about the synopsis is pretty confusing to me Lev Grossman is the author of the magician's so I feel like what I can gather is that it has some kind of inspiration to his life before the magician's but this is also a great publication of his first novel which was warp and it was published in 1996 so I don't really know what's going on here many one has any clarification on what work is actually about I would love to know really from what I can gather it's all about this boy who was like living a normal life but through his dreams he is living another world I think don't quote me on that look the good race link that's in the description because I know I'm gonna be studying that like crazy once I got the time to but because there's so much hype around the magician's I can only expect that warp it's going to be equally as good Phoenix for half of this list is signs of you by Emily France this book is all about a girl named Riley who lost her mother previously two years ago and it's kind of found comfort and it's kind of getting over her grief through her friends Jay Kate and Noah now Riley actually thinks that she sees her mother in a supermarket and is afraid she's suffering from some sort of late term post-traumatic stress disorder but as it turns out Jay and Kate have both seen missions of people that they have once loved and lost before and it turns out no is the other one that how do you have one of these visions and he's become a little distant and so Noah actually disappears and the rest that we're trying to understand what is going on here why are they seeing these people that they've lost are they alive are they just all seeing these things what's going on here I believe there's a love triangle also in this book it sounds like a really really interesting concept and I'm definitely really interested to check it out if you find the book at this hopper be a is frazzled by book even bond but he's actually a publisher for HarperCollins and is publishing her debut novel which is frazzled Faysal is another middle breed that I have on this haul about a girl named Abby blue who is entering her middle school years this girl is very neurotic and if somebody who is very neurotic herself we can understand this but throughout this book it's all about the stories and they have these adorable little black-and-white doodles that bookie has done herself so not only really interested Sarita I've never really read a book like this before so it sounds super super interesting and I'm really excited to see what book he has to publish for her debut novel so then those aren't for the books for BA but they're gonna feel like totes and extra little goodies that I want to show you the first of which is this tote that says I read Y a I believe it is from Scholastic I seen these totes everywhere they're always at book conventions I'm a one-woman since book condom 2014 I think but I'm glad I finally got it the next hit I got is actually ever breeds tote because they always have the best totes and this one on the front it says the book shimmy which is like their tagline thing if you followed oh you found on it you probably know what a book shiney is and then only back we have all of these do titles being released by them to like replica walk on earth a stranger in yellow brick warm frost like night glass sword the female of species a thousandth floor of the crown escape from asylum B black key the outliers three dark crowns and unraveled and that has the epic reads logo at the bottom the last turn I have is this one from first in line was actually a trick that I saw y'all fast when I went last time and I was only just cuz on the back it says I read blink before you did I have no idea what I'm gonna fill in here because I came into the why a game pretty late but I want to know these back so badly and then I think I'm gonna take white cyber paint and write a book title here still not one applies but and the cops will not leave me what book would you put here you read what what did you read before me I would love to know then I'll know about the Scholastic booth I got a few Harry Potter things so I got this little shiny little postcard thingy for Harry Potter Murph secrecy up illustrated edition and on the back it has this picture of Fox I'm so so excited for this illustrated edition I cannot wait to read it and oh my god I'm just so excited for it and then I also have this bookmark for Harry Potter and the cursed child which is another book I'm so excited for so much Harry Potter's make happen again I just can't contain my excitement and then went to the Simon & Schuster booth which I got these Mortal Instruments rude tattoos I've been needin some room talk to you so I'm super super excited that I have a couple more I bet thing is I also got a coaster for Shadowhunters and has all of the standard clearance new covers here I don't know if you can see it yet I hope you can see it was in this position but I don't even actually look show myself up and oh my god look at the beauty I love this so much finally I have two more posters to show you the first being one that I found on a really random table that says readers read books fans read sequels which is totally true and this got a little messy and my luggage but I'm really really sad that I have this poster now and finally I got a tells of the peculiar poster from Penguin that is super shining it nice it matches the cover and I'm really really excited with this book so I'm have the checker sampler and the matching poster I'm gonna dress thysen through my be a haul of 2016 I have like 70 more be a book on videos coming soon though I'm really excited post for you guys let me know ahead of all these books what is your most anticipated are can also answer that question as to what book have you read before everyone else Anthony this video would thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see you soon for a new one byehere's a pillow my name is Emma and today I'm going to be giving you guys my haul for ba of 2016 this is my first video ever I got a ton of free books and some extra goodies that I really want to show you guys so we're just gonna get right into that whole because there with the same person it sounds really intense I think something we're happy to know where I'm just gonna cry and like there's not gonna be a happy moment in this book but it sounds really really great I'm so excited to Rita and it really would implore you all to pick up more happy than not and then history is all you left me once it's out because I'm on this list is the Sun is also star by Nicola Hyun I haven't read nucleons everything everything but I really really wanted to a little this covers so much look at it I heard that they actually had to do all of these string work properly and then they put it onto a camera and like put onto a computer so just the effort that went into this cover is amazing in itself the sounds also Starr sounds really interesting it's all about this girl named Natasha whose family is about to be deported back to Jamaica from New York City when she meets a boy named Daniel who's going through his own kind of thing Daniel is the good student the good son but he's I've been able to pursue any of the dreams that he really wanted to feels like he's kind of living this false life until he meets Natasha on the day that she's being deported so I'm assuming it's a to point of new kind of story about these two people falling in love in the unlikeliest of situations I hear nothing but good things not Nicole Ian's work and I really really enjoyed talking to her when I did meet her but her new book sounds so awesome it sounds like the best contemporary of a composite I get this supper it comes out in November I'm really really excited to read it and I hope you guys are too the next one on this list is holding the universe by Jennifer Niven actually met her and she signed this one as well Shira Emma you are wanted Jennifer Neumann and another like her she had it blue is blue like the cover so holy of the universe I'll be honest I've heard some controversy around this I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to receive this book especially because I wasn't a big fan of all the right places holding the universe pause a girl named Libby who has been dubbed America's fattest teen and as she is reintegrating into society and going back to school she's finding that really difficult not to because of her physique but of how everyone believes they know her from like I'm assuming like new stories and whatnot of being America's fattest teen I'd also follow the boy names Jack who was kind of a popular kid he's got a lot of friends but it turns out that he's unable to recognize faces and even his family look like strangers to him so the nother unlikely love story with these two people who were kind of misfits in their own way find each other and find hope and love through each other and I'm definitely have higher hopes for this one than all the right places but I'm going into a pretty neutral I know it's super inches that paid it I'm definitely entreated to see what holds true in this book yes look at this listen another one that was highly anticipated for me which was furthermore by Tahereh Mafi it says Emma read on her Muffy I love her handwriting she's so cute oh my god I'd love to harm off you so much for the word father girl these Alexis whose father has gone missing and she has to delve into the world up furthermore to find him so in this world and furthermore basically not everything is what it seems down paper is a live left is right and wrong I just sounds like a really crazy confusing role that this girl alexis is going to go through and I love the cover I'm really really interested to see what this book hold and it was another one of my most anticipated books to get from bei is from in this list is the edge of everything by Jeff Giles this one follows a girl named Zoe whose father has recently died and they're in the middle of this gigantic blizzard where her brother is dying in a cabin and so silly and her brother are rescued by a boy named X and so I feel access kind of like the stereotypical brooding hero he never really knew love he's misery and hate and pain and so really what I can gather from this is that Zoe next team up together to escape this blizzard and escape the world there and it sounds like a really cool concept and definitely interested to see where it goes and I was like planning on getting this book I was kind of just handed it with another arc but it sounds really cool I really enjoy the cover and I'm relation to see how they're going to get out of this place called the lowlands the UNESCO this is my sister Rosa by Justine Lara Paulus steer this is another argument at the end of Silveira dinner by his publicist and it's basically an Australian novel that's being published in America which I'm really really interested about my sister Rosa is all about this voice Shay whose family is now moving from Australia to America and they're on the plane and shades for sister Rosa isn't your stereotypical little ten-year-olds girl she believes that Rosa is a psychopath she's had a really rough time in Australia but she hasn't killed anyone and she's afraid that in the heart of New York City that's where the psychopathic tendencies he knows that her are really going to flourish so though that she's struggled from on to be a normal teenager but also protect Rosa from the world and protect the world from Rosa I hadn't really read a book like this before I am really really interested to see what directions it's going to go in especially as somebody who's been studying like criminal psych in forensic psychology why not it sounds like a really really great book for me and I've been hearing some buzz about on booktube so I'm really really excited for this one Phoenix for my list is archival hearts by crystal southern men this sounds like another really great cute summer contemporary by a boy named Henry who wants nothing more than to fall in love she's trying to find the right person throughout high school but you just haven't found her yet until it girl named Grace walks into his new book club I'm so grace has greasy hair and she has oversized boy clothes and not anything that Henry had really expected to be his dream girl but grace and Harry are put on to edit these school paper together and this unlikely friendship kind of arises through that and maybe grace I'd be more than what she seems on the exterior like I said another cute contemporary I think is in me really really interested I hadn't really heard anything about this book the cover is really pretty minimalistic though so I like that in itself and if you've heard anything about any of these books so far I'd really really love to know the next one on this list is actually a chamfer sampler for it because of the peculiar by ransom Riggs so this one is also signed to Emma from ransom riggs and I had a really great time meeting him I actually haven't finished it's home for peculiar children yet I really really want to I just it's not so high oh I TV are hollow City and library of souls I still had a read but tells of the peculiar is basically all the different fairy tales that were actually in the peculiar world obviously this is really really sure and not like a very long chapter sampler in itself but I think it's really interesting that now we get all of you different fairy tales that we've heard about in the story I don't know if I have to finish the books to read this so if you finished all of them and know more about tales of the peculiar than I do please let me know because otherwise I won't dive into this until I finished this series I will really eventually I promise I just I have to push through and say I'm gonna go out I'm gonna buy hollow City and I'm gonna read hollow City and then I'll eventually read tales of the peculiar be an expert on this list is girl and pieces by Katherine Glasgow this is another art that I wasn't like crazy map getting but it was not the same I was like hey why not huh from what I can gather with this book is a girl who's suffering from depression who was enacting a lot of self-harm because of all the things that are going on in her life and it's time just like another coming-of-age story and about growing it to your own skin the synopsis itself sounds very very triggering personally I think I'll be okay with it but honestly some of the things that are just in the synopsis made me really wary of telling people like I got this book it's another great mental illness recommendation I'll definitely we're gonna Avenue just see where it's gonna go and I'll give you an update on if it's actually as triggering as I think it is at first plans though the synopsis is a wall graphic it might actually be that the rawness of the story it makes it a really true representation which I'm always always in for so I'll little let you know why are my thoughts on girl in pieces once I get to it you're never going out a VA is fair in fat parts by Sarah Maria Griffin this is a steampunk novel and I still have not heard you punk novel other than the fronds of Isis so I was very very interested to get this arc this is all about a girl named Nell who is living in a world where after this disaster everyone is missing spare parts whether it be their leg their arm their eye but now is the only one who's living with a mechanical heart and her father is the person that is replacing all these body parts of people who miss them in this whole disaster and that's really locking out there from the synopsis but I'm very very interested in this alone especially because the steampunk genre is very attractive to me even though I have learned a lot of it yet I also just don't know of a lot of steampunk novels so I think spider-man parts is going to be a really really great book for me next one I have from BA three dark crowns by Andrew Blake or kinder Blake sure let's go with that this is not a story about three sisters who live in a world where they are meant to compute to be queen each of the three sisters has different powers that on the night of their 16th birthday they are meant to start competing to the death to be the queen of this land the other comment that is two out of the three sisters don't really have any control over the powers and so that puts the one sister who is already very powerful at an advantage so I'm very very interested to see where the story is going to go I think the family dynamic in it alone is very interesting because we don't get a lot of books about family interacting with each other in young adults but it sounds like a really epic fantasy I'm really really excited to read it and I haven't heard about this before going to be a but it sounds like a lot of people are really interested in this book so I definitely am going to be reading this one soon I'm really sorry that I'm like out of breath I can't bring out my nose and I'm losing my voice so it's just like a whole lot of things going on in my head that we're making filming really difficult but still trying next one I have is stealing snow by Daniel page which is a new retelling from the author of Dorothy must die since I was every time of The Snow Queen that you guys might have heard of is the inspiration for frozen the story follows a girl who's been locked into a mental institution when she decided that this isn't like she wants to live and she breaks out into the real world so snow who is the main character is Steve suspenseful institution she stressed into this world where apparently she's in charge of this kingdoms you didn't know bad has to go on this epic journey to find that Kingdom and it's all about it's actually real or is this 13 and why she was put into this institution it sounds really really interesting and I really enjoyed the first book in the Dorothy must die series so I'm definitely definitely excited to read this book the next one I have is a warped by Lev Grossman and this is actually a very short book but it is the full book such as to chapter Sandler I don't really know what this book is about the synopsis is pretty confusing to me Lev Grossman is the author of the magician's so I feel like what I can gather is that it has some kind of inspiration to his life before the magician's but this is also a great publication of his first novel which was warp and it was published in 1996 so I don't really know what's going on here many one has any clarification on what work is actually about I would love to know really from what I can gather it's all about this boy who was like living a normal life but through his dreams he is living another world I think don't quote me on that look the good race link that's in the description because I know I'm gonna be studying that like crazy once I got the time to but because there's so much hype around the magician's I can only expect that warp it's going to be equally as good Phoenix for half of this list is signs of you by Emily France this book is all about a girl named Riley who lost her mother previously two years ago and it's kind of found comfort and it's kind of getting over her grief through her friends Jay Kate and Noah now Riley actually thinks that she sees her mother in a supermarket and is afraid she's suffering from some sort of late term post-traumatic stress disorder but as it turns out Jay and Kate have both seen missions of people that they have once loved and lost before and it turns out no is the other one that how do you have one of these visions and he's become a little distant and so Noah actually disappears and the rest that we're trying to understand what is going on here why are they seeing these people that they've lost are they alive are they just all seeing these things what's going on here I believe there's a love triangle also in this book it sounds like a really really interesting concept and I'm definitely really interested to check it out if you find the book at this hopper be a is frazzled by book even bond but he's actually a publisher for HarperCollins and is publishing her debut novel which is frazzled Faysal is another middle breed that I have on this haul about a girl named Abby blue who is entering her middle school years this girl is very neurotic and if somebody who is very neurotic herself we can understand this but throughout this book it's all about the stories and they have these adorable little black-and-white doodles that bookie has done herself so not only really interested Sarita I've never really read a book like this before so it sounds super super interesting and I'm really excited to see what book he has to publish for her debut novel so then those aren't for the books for BA but they're gonna feel like totes and extra little goodies that I want to show you the first of which is this tote that says I read Y a I believe it is from Scholastic I seen these totes everywhere they're always at book conventions I'm a one-woman since book condom 2014 I think but I'm glad I finally got it the next hit I got is actually ever breeds tote because they always have the best totes and this one on the front it says the book shimmy which is like their tagline thing if you followed oh you found on it you probably know what a book shiney is and then only back we have all of these do titles being released by them to like replica walk on earth a stranger in yellow brick warm frost like night glass sword the female of species a thousandth floor of the crown escape from asylum B black key the outliers three dark crowns and unraveled and that has the epic reads logo at the bottom the last turn I have is this one from first in line was actually a trick that I saw y'all fast when I went last time and I was only just cuz on the back it says I read blink before you did I have no idea what I'm gonna fill in here because I came into the why a game pretty late but I want to know these back so badly and then I think I'm gonna take white cyber paint and write a book title here still not one applies but and the cops will not leave me what book would you put here you read what what did you read before me I would love to know then I'll know about the Scholastic booth I got a few Harry Potter things so I got this little shiny little postcard thingy for Harry Potter Murph secrecy up illustrated edition and on the back it has this picture of Fox I'm so so excited for this illustrated edition I cannot wait to read it and oh my god I'm just so excited for it and then I also have this bookmark for Harry Potter and the cursed child which is another book I'm so excited for so much Harry Potter's make happen again I just can't contain my excitement and then went to the Simon & Schuster booth which I got these Mortal Instruments rude tattoos I've been needin some room talk to you so I'm super super excited that I have a couple more I bet thing is I also got a coaster for Shadowhunters and has all of the standard clearance new covers here I don't know if you can see it yet I hope you can see it was in this position but I don't even actually look show myself up and oh my god look at the beauty I love this so much finally I have two more posters to show you the first being one that I found on a really random table that says readers read books fans read sequels which is totally true and this got a little messy and my luggage but I'm really really sad that I have this poster now and finally I got a tells of the peculiar poster from Penguin that is super shining it nice it matches the cover and I'm really really excited with this book so I'm have the checker sampler and the matching poster I'm gonna dress thysen through my be a haul of 2016 I have like 70 more be a book on videos coming soon though I'm really excited post for you guys let me know
