912HP DODGE DURANGO HELLCAT _ REVIEW on AUTOBAHN

**The Durango Beast: A Supercar Like No Other**

As we step into the cockpit of this majestic beast, it's impossible not to feel a sense of awe and wonder. The Durango, a car that dates back to 2010, has been transformed into a supercar like no other, with an extra dose of power that makes it truly unstoppable.

The exterior of the vehicle is unmistakable, with its aggressive lines and bold styling cues. But it's the details that really set this car apart. Take, for example, the supercharged badge on the door seal - a subtle yet effective nod to the engine's immense power output. And then there are the SRT floor mats and steering wheel, which add a touch of luxury and sophistication to an already formidable machine.

As we start the engine, the sound that emanates from the exhaust system is nothing short of breathtaking. The supercharger whines to life, its omnipresent presence announcing our arrival to the world. It's like the car itself is saying, "Get ready for a wild ride." And with that, we're off, gliding smoothly through the city streets as if we own the place.

The interior of the Durango is surprisingly practical, given its massive size and weight. The infotainment screen, updated around 2021, provides all the modern amenities one could ask for - including navigation, climate control, and a wireless charger. But make no mistake, this is a car that's been built for speed and agility, not just everyday driving.

**Test Drive**

As we hit the track, it becomes clear that this Durango is more than just a pretty face. The suspension is perfectly tuned, soaking up bumps and irregularities with ease, while the steering is firm but responsive. We take it to Sport mode, and the car comes alive, its acceleration and handling becoming even more impressive.

The shift points are aggressive, the transmission engaging gears with ease as we push the car to its limits. The all-wheel-drive system kicks in seamlessly, providing traction and stability at every turn. And when we open the exhaust valve, the sound that fills the air is like nothing we've ever heard before - a cacophony of noise that's both beautiful and terrifying.

**Braking Performance**

But what really sets this Durango apart is its braking performance. The pedal feels incredibly substantial, providing just the right amount of feedback to let us know when we're approaching our limits. And yet, despite its massive size and weight, the car stops with ease, the brakes biting down hard to bring it to a halt.

We test this out by putting the car through a series of tight turns and hairpin bends, watching in amazement as it devours each corner with precision and control. The Durango is a car that's been built for speed, and it shows itself to be more than up to the task.

**Conclusion**

The Durango Beast is a true marvel of engineering, a car that's been transformed from a humble SUV into a full-fledged supercar. With its massive size and weight, combined with an extra dose of power, this car is truly unstoppable. Whether on the track or on the street, it's a force to be reckoned with - and one that we're honored to have had the chance to experience firsthand.

As we bring our time with the Durango to a close, we can't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at this incredible machine. It's a car that's been built for speed, agility, and style, and it's clear that its maker has put every ounce of passion and expertise into its creation.

Whether you're a seasoned supercar enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the finer things in life, the Durango Beast is sure to leave an impression. So if you ever have the chance to get behind the wheel of this magnificent machine, take it - you won't regret it.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this POV review by autotop Andel my name is Max and today we are taking a look at this incredible Dodge Durango Hellcat this is an absolute Beast of a car we've driven a regular Dodge Durango with the uh the regular Hemi V8 which I really really liked I thought the car was very comfortable it drives really well it's practical I think it's cool looking as well and uh well I I was already super happy with that car but it did feel slightly underpowered and yeah it just made us wonder what the Hellcat was like but the Hellcat is not something you see a lot in Europe so we didn't really think that we were going to be able to make that work but we found this incredible tuned Hellcat a Polish owner who lives in Germany and has a company in the Netherlands uh massive thanks for letting us have a go in your awesome Hellcat I'm going to show you around it we'll do a quick lap around it and then we'll take it for a drive towards the autan for an autan blast so the Dodge Durango is what they call in the US a midsize SUV uh it is what we call in Europe a big boy and it looks really cool you have this super aggressive front and of course for the SRT Hellcat you get the badge here and some more aggressive bumpers you also get these air extraction Vents and a hood scoop which is is that functional I think that is that is fake and well the Durango was introduced in 2010 and it got a couple of refreshes but the Hellcat was only introduced in 2021 so the Durango was already here for more than 10 years then the Hellcat came and in 2023 it was supposed to end I think or 2024 but they extended it for one more year at least so this is the last Hellcat available the charger and the Challenger Hellcat that are already gone but you still have the Durango and of course this engine is also in the TRX the Dodge Ram or the ram TRX 20in Wheels SRT Wheels really good looking fits the car well behind that upgraded brakes SRT brakes for the Hellcat which are quite good these are 295 tires at the front you also get stiffer suspension for the Hellcat adaptive dampers and at the rear you get 295s as well two 295s all around and this is a Goodyear Eagle F1 SUV tire so it is a very big car as you can see I think it's the the front end is really good looking I think the side profile is also really cool it's like a classic us SUV the rear is more bit like MPV is I would say of course you get SRT badges a Durango badge and uh this rear light has been refreshed as well uh a couple years ago and the owner actually installed this incredible exhaust on this car so let me just get underneath because it has two silencers as you can see on the side here one and two and then you have the valve system from a Bentley and then you have two pipes going all the way to the center there where I think it does have a some kind of resonator no it does not so it's basically straight from the catalytic inverters which have sport cats so a metallic sport cat is in there so it is super loud it is absolutely incredible so luggage space is limited when you have the third row up of course you have six seats and when you put this down you have an incredible amount of luggage space but uh it is a very versatile car it is absolutely massive so let's take a look at the engine the 6.2 L Hemi V8 with a 2.7 L supercharger stock 720 horsepower and 845 newm of torque but this car has an upgraded supercharger pulley and it's got a different intake it's got a new belt as well and a crankshaft pulley uh an ECU tune and the gearbox the clutch the transfer case have all been upgraded because this car now produces or this engine now produces 912 horsepower and 1115 newm of torque which is insane it used to have more so it used to have 12200 horsepower with different injectors and a fuel pump booster uh but that was just way too much it also needed methanol to run that 1200 horsepower and it's just not very practical so the owner basically down tuned it to 912 and 1115 newm uh which is still a lot it is an absolute weapon this thing it's incredible I love it so much I love the car in general the Durango I I thought was amazing last time round uh with a lot less power like 500 horsepower or less but now with this extra power it is insane you also get a supercharged badge here on the door seal and some SRT floor mats and an SRT steering wheel which is very nice so let's start it up so interior also you know this is it's quite dated because the original car dates back to uh 2010 so that's something you definitely feel but you do get this infotainment screen which has been updated around 2021 I think and you also get uh updated gauges so you still have an analog speedometer and analog dials here for the fuel and the temperature but you you do get a digital screen for the ref counter there in the middle other than that it is pretty basic you have physical buttons down here for the climate which is great and for the audio uh you've got plenty of storage wireless charger it is just it's a very very practical car and seating position is really good you sit in the car so the dash is high the center stack is high your armrest is high and it just makes you feel like you're I don't know cocooned in this massive car which is just nice so uh zf8 speed and and we'll go to track mode which is basically just the most aggressive setting so the transmission the shifters the uh all-wheel drive the stability control suspension and the steering all change with the driving modes which is great and we have a button here to open the exhaust which is like super loud it's it sounds really good you can also really hear that supercharger it's it's omnipresent oh oh my God it is it's all hell breaks loose when that exhaust is open and you just give it some throttle it sounds incredible and it goes like hell as well it is pretty it's a pretty incredible experience because it is such a massive car it doesn't even weigh that much it's like 2570 kilos uh for such a massive car that's actually not bad but the handling the the Turning is much better than you expect the suspension is really good the steering is really good very beefy there's just tons of feel everywhere in and around this car it just it's been set up really well it's like you do 60% throtle and you're like okay this is a fast car and then you have 40% left and it just absolutely shoots off that is nuts man this is ridiculous so I'll close the valves so you can hear the difference so this is like normal driving uh normally there's also like a small kid in here uh this is the owner's daily so he has to do everything with it and this is pretty much okay right you still hear that supercharger but the exhaust quiets right down which is great okay so valve open let's do a a little pull away 0 to 100 wow we did 3.45 seconds which is really quick for an absolute Beast of a car like this but I think it should be able to do it quicker because it still has a little bit of wheel hop it kind of Skips off the line uh it should be like 3.1 3.2 should be possible but uh 345 is already very quick so let's go to sport mode for the autoban and off we go 100 to 27.2 seconds and of course we've got a yellow plate going left classic but it picks up really well the shifts are nice and aggressive top speed this is limited 250 but we should be able to go a bit faster than that so normally this car is limited at 290 km an hour but this tuned version seems to sometimes have a limiter at 250 so we were able to do 280 earlier so if you want to check that out click the link in the top right corner for the out of bound video um yeah it it should be able to do at least 290 but I think the limiter used to be completely off so yeah I don't know uh the owner said that he might go back to Poland and have the tune checked so maybe he will be back in the future but for now yeah it seems to be limited at 250 I have to say I was not expecting the brakes to be so good brake pedal feels very good as well super sturdy so there we go L little pool to the gas station ridiculous what a hooligan absolutely love driving it massive thanks to the owner for uh coming to see us um maybe he will be back maybe he won't be but this has been an absolute pleasure such a beast of a car and uh man I I love these Durangos I think it's such a cool car thanks for watching hope you enjoyed it you can subscribe by clicking the big button in the middle there's another Durango what what the hell that is cool you can
