We're taking a closer look at the evolution of speed intake manifold, which has undergone significant changes over time. One notable update is the addition of a bigger intercooler. We decided to put the car through its paces with some launch testing. We set off from a standstill and accelerated to 100km/h in under 2.9 seconds. To put that into perspective, most cars take around 5-6 seconds to reach 100km/h from a standstill. The acceleration was incredibly smooth and linear, making it feel almost effortless.

**Autobahn Testing**

Next, we took the car to the Autobahn for some speed testing. We set off at full throttle and watched as the speedometer climbed steadily upwards. It's clear that this car is capable of much higher speeds than its 260km/h speedo suggests. The drag strip test revealed a blistering 6.38 seconds at 100-200km/h, making it one of the fastest cars in its class.

pure turbos bmw 340i from 2018 and this is their promo car their shop car basically it doesn't have a rear seat anymore so that saves some taxes and it is hella fast so today i'm going to show you around it i'm going to show you all the pure turbo stuff on it and then we'll take it for a drive towards the old man for an autobahn blast now exterior wise as you can see this is pretty much a stock 340i we do have some different wheels these are custom signature wheels 19 inch and they are about 9 kilos per wheel and around that we've got 265 tires all round continental sport contact seven tires which apparently the guys at pure turbos like better than the michelin pilot sport 4s so i'm curious to see how to test this tire in the next few months on different cars because that is something i rarely hear then it's better than a ps4s so behind that we've got the regular m performance brakes and we do have a little modification here unfortunately i think this is the first time ever martin hit a bird bye bye birdie it was a quick death let me assure you wow that was quite a hit hey what's up buddy there he goes i told you we should do nature films anyway martin hit a bird like a dove or pigeon whatever and it hit the car hit the windshield and it's pretty much dead now it hurled itself at the car death by bmw rest in peace little buddy um moving on we've got shadow line mirrors roof stuff pure turbos go check out pure turbos on instagram and i'll link their website in the description as well they build cool ass cars we drove their bmw m2 competition as well with like 800 horsepower that thing was mental and it's got much more horsepower now actually because they have like a drag map and it's freaking crazy we've got a three and a half inch custom exhaust which looks very cool but as you can see it looks pretty much stock so we've got a rear seat delete and this is called uh literal translation light cargo in belgium and that means that you just pay a lot less taxes and we've got another little surprise here which is a very well hidden methanol tank because it's called meth injection as well but that is really nice that you have that underneath there so let's move to the business end of this car which is the b58 every tuner's wet dream this engine is so suitable for tuning and it again with this car it just feels mega mega strong so we have a lot of stuff on this car it is a stock engine so it's not built they are going to do that later on which should yield around 800 wheel horsepower and a thousand wheel newton meters which is insane so i hope the guys will be back then but right now we've got a stock engine with some goodies on it so we've got this evolution of speed intake manifold with an intercooler we've got ftp motorsport charge pipe with a methanol nozzle as well to cool the charge we've got a borg high pressure fuel pump a wagner radiator a four and a half inch catless downpipe and then of course we've got the pure 800 turbo but this is a cast version that they are testing right now on this car which is a little bit bigger and it spools up a little bit quicker as well and you have like 10 to 20 horsepower extra compared to a pure 800 at the top end so this is basically their test car as well and right now it's delivering around 650 horsepower and 850 newton meters of torque hc performance did the remap and we've got a tcu remap for the transmission as well so the shifts are nice and quick could be even quicker but this is quite a safe setup and that goes for this entire setup this is quite a safe setup to run this should work in pretty much all circumstances and uh well it is a very cool setup this i quite like this evolution of speed intake manifold with a bigger intercooler in there as well but i really like the look of that that big red thing on top of the engine super nice did we miss anything yes we did of course we've got eibach lowering springs which you wouldn't say looking at it like that but you know it was even higher than this and then we've got a quave limited slip differential at the rear which is the one for the rear rear-wheel drive version because they are stronger this is an x-drive car and uh so they are already working on fortifying stuff for that uh big power setup that they are working on and then we've got these recaro pole position seats super nice as well alcantara steering wheel with really nice pedal shifters very tall carbon fiber super nice start it up there it doesn't have like burr balls or pops and bangs which is very nice it it sounds like a b-58 on steroids it sounds pretty good actually i am going to keep the ac on as you know gopros don't like heat this is a downside to these seats i would say because they are a bit lower than the stock seat as you can see the seat belt buckle is very weird and when you drive it you hit the thing with your elbow so i have to put it all the way back interior wise nothing has been changed other than the seats and the rear seat delete so i think we're just going to go and drive the thing and the first thing you notice when you drive it is oh as soon as you go near that throttle that torque just kicks you in the back that is very very strong oh man this thing it just feels so strong so let's do a little launchy launch something like 2.9 seconds to 100 should be possible with this car so you just break boost it foot on the brake full throttle until you hit 3000 rpm there we go holy moly this thing is mental and it's just it's pulls up pretty quickly because you just hit the throttle and off you go oh these cars these these b58 cars are so suitable for this tuning it is insane the way they feel i mean you know quite a bit has been done to this car of course so you would expect it to feel very strong but there's just something about this frame with a zf8 speed as well that just makes it feel so freaking beefy and that means that it's also really nice to drive daily when you just have the gearbox in drive automatic and the car in comfort you just have that insane surge of torque to ride man that's quick now because this car's speedo only goes to 260 as you know we are going to use the draggy to have a gps speedo in addition to the regular one and let's see what this thing is like at the autobahn it is friday today so that means that it usually is a bit busier but that is full throttle okay there we go full throttle it just picks up so quickly oh that was a turbo that sound by the way that wasn't all me but it runs super well it is very very impressive this car let's do a pull from a little bit lower oh man that is quick so 100 to 200 of course we also measured that which was 6.39 seconds which is very very fast oh that is freaking strong 6.38 i just beat my tights 100 to 200 oh suck on that buddy 6.38 i mean it is that easy you just put your foot down and the car does 6.38 100 to 200 this thing is very very impressive so power wise power delivery wise as i said it spools up very quickly you have that surge of torque very early and then it sort of keeps going until like almost 7000 rpm oh and then you shift and it just picks up where it left off it is very very impressive so when they are going to upgrade this car to that 800 wheel horsepower version 1000 wheel newton meters of torque they are also going to fortify the drive shaft and stuff like that the
