**Introduction**

Hi there, this is Ranjit and I have the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and in this video we'll be doing the gaming review with this device and we have a fingerprint log that works perfectly. Before we start the gaming, let me actually show you the configuration using the CPU Z application. As you can see, it's powered by an Exynos processor that's an octacore processor. The GPU is the Mali T628 GPU and the chipset is Exis 5430, it has 2 gigs of RAM, and the screen size is a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. Samsung did not skim on sensors, so let's start some gaming.

**Riptide GP2**

This is Riptide GP2, we're still in the racing mode, and as you can see this Super AMOLED screen is actually pretty good. The viewing angles are great, and we're getting all the effects, water effects. One thing I noticed is that you can easily just block the speaker if you hold it tightly. As you can see, it's running Riptide GP2 without any issues with all graphics. Let me get out of this and move to the next game.

**Asphalt 8**

Let's put this one back in, and I'm going to remove that game for a while, let's move on to Asphalt 8. I'll show you the graphic settings, it's set on high, and I'm using the on-screen steering. We're going to play this Iceland level later on One More Level and see how it performs on Asphalt 8. As you can see all graphics are getting rendered, and in fact, it looks pretty smooth there, some minor lag, not lag, I would say frame death again. Yes, I saw that frame death thing got as you can see it is able to play this Asphalt 8 without any issues but at least on this level I noticed some frame drops at times. It's not happening always but if you look very closely sometimes it's happening but in general usage this phone is not exhibiting any lagginess while using normally as you can see we are done and it's been about six minutes since we were gaming.

**Modern Combat 5**

Let's play one more heavy game that is Modern Combat 5, and see how it handles. This is Monarch advance to extraction point B over, I'm noticing one thing in this game the speaker is just over here, you have to be careful otherwise it's completely blocking it out. As you can see the phone is getting a little bit warm at the back with Modern Combat 5. We'll test the temperatures later on let's go out take them out cover me I'm reloading it's all right out here let's get out of here we've got company keep on firing, and it looks like it's able to handle this Modern Combat fight fairly. Incom hang on keeping godam it think we're in the clear oh hit him backup is on the way TI over all I need Aedi backup they're all over us we need back up now as you can see it is playing this combat fight pretty well here I did not notice any lagginess or frame drops in this game.

**Temperature Test**

Let's test the temperature at the back of the phone, and what it showed me was about 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature is not that hot like some other Android phones that get pretty hot with heavy gaming. As you can see we are done and it has been about six minutes since we were gaming let's check the screen to see if there is any lag or frame death, as you can see there is no major heating issues as of now.

**Conclusion**

As you can see this galaxy alpha could play a lot of games without any issues apart from some frame drops in Asphalt 8 but overall performance was pretty snappy.
