The Farmhouse Aesthetic: A Dollar Tree Haul

As I wandered through the aisles of my local Dollar Tree, I couldn't help but feel drawn to the Farmhouse aesthetic that was on full display. The store's rustic-chic packaging and decor screamed "Farmhouse" to me, and I knew I had to pick up a few items to bring this style into my own home.

One of the first items I spotted was a dish soap in the shape of peppermint Sage. I love the way this scent combines fresh mint with earthy sage, and I couldn't resist picking it up. The packaging itself is also perfectly Farmhouse-inspired, with its natural ingredients label and rustic texture. I've already used it to clean my dishes, and I'm so glad I made the purchase.

As I continued shopping, I noticed a section dedicated to room sprays. Wizard, a brand that's been featured at Dollar Tree for years, caught my eye. They offer a range of scents, from soothing lavender to invigorating citrus blends. The "Relaxing and Uplifting Positive Mood" spray in particular appealed to me - I love the idea of having a product that can help shift my mood and create a sense of calm.

I also picked up two other room sprays: "Sunny Citrus" for a brightening boost, and "Mood Bright" with its bold claim to invigorate. While I'm not sure if these will live up to their promises, I'm excited to try them out and see how they affect my mood. The packaging itself is simple yet effective, with clear labeling and cute designs that add to the overall Farmhouse vibe.

As I made my way through the store, I noticed a section dedicated to organization and storage. A clear plastic bag caught my eye - it was perfect for storing small items like erasers or paper clips. I've been using these types of bags in my own home for years, and I'm so glad Dollar Tree offers them.

Speaking of erasers, I picked up a few of the cute ones that were on display. As a kid, I used to collect erasers by the dozen, and now I love using them as paper clips or even embellishments for my junk journaling projects. The variety pack I picked up included everything from tiny animals to jellyfish - it's always fun to add some whimsy to my spreads.

Last but not least, I spotted a sticker sheet featuring adorable creatures like seahorses and crabs. I love using stickers in my junk journaling projects, and these little guys are too cute to resist. I also picked up a few flashcards with simple images - I find that these are great for working on memory recall or just adding some visual interest to a page.

As I finished up my shopping trip, I realized that I had amassed quite the collection of Farmhouse-inspired goodies. From dish soap to room sprays, organization bags to erasers and stickers, it's clear that Dollar Tree has everything I need to create this aesthetic in my home. And at just $1 per item, it's an affordable way to bring a little bit of Farmhouse charm into my daily life.

share with you guys what I ended up picking up on this trip I was a little bit more hyperfocused on cleaning products but the store just didn't have the selection that I needed so I might have to go to another one but anyways I actually did get a lot of snacks so um I found these Candy Pop popcorns with the Snickers never seen that before now I grabbed this one time but I don't think it was in a hole I'm not sure maybe it was maybe it wasn't but I just know that I had to get it again this Kettle brand potato chips in the backyard barbecue so good love them then these little pop daddy pretzels get these okay the garlic parmesan love those so I got two bags of those and then I decided I would try the pepper corn Ranch but they're like little pretzel sticks um and they're just heavily flavored so that was an exciting find I don't know why but I've been craving gushers so this was like one of my favorite alltime like little fruit snack really so I ate a lot of these um in my 20s when I was packing mic's lunches I ate most of them um and then I found the world's best Gummy Bears the albanes I don't even know if I'm saying it right but they're they claim to be the best glutenfree fat free low sodium um finding these I think is a rare treasure at Dollar Tree cuz that is a pretty big name brand now this item I'm sorry what is this this left me slightly speechless when I looked at it because it was in the food section like where you would see like the ranch seasoning packets but this is Cinnamon Toast Crunch cin cin dust seasoning BL blend great for toast cookies ice cream and more then it gives you like a recipe for churo chips didn't I didn't even know this was a thing so but listen it's at Walmart all right so that's the first bag we're just going to leave it to as much natural editing for today's video I don't know I just like to edit in different stuff um okay next up I've actually been also wanting cereal I think it's because I've been watching Seinfeld I have always wanted to watch Seinfeld so I started the series and every in the shot in his kitchen there's just like always like these rows of like or boxes of cereal so because that it's been on my mind I ordered a box of Froot Loops from Walmart but then I saw these these have been around I called them before but they're actually more perfect personally for me because I'm just one person Micah doesn't eat cereal and I don't need a huge box um so I wish they had did I not get Cheerios maybe the Cheerios are in another bat okay I thought that they had Frosted Flakes but I didn't see them on this trip they did have cinnamon toast crunch but I I'm not a fan of that although Cinnamon Toast Crunch I think was Micah's very favorite cereal I don't know comment down below let me know what your favorite cereal is my favorite is the Captain Crunch peanut butter it will destroy the roof of your mouth I'll tell you that worth it um and I would venture to say like Frosted Flakes probably be my next favorite then I saw the paneton the little vanilla Mini paneton these are so cute I've never seen these before a day in my life at a Dollar Tree so this is leaving me slightly shook I wish there were other flavors if you're seeing other flavors like the chocolate chip one please let me know because I will I will run around the DFW area to find that I will I will um then I usually like to get myself a treat so um today's treat are the mambas and the hiu and strawberry so there's that and then I found these and I was like what the heck are these Duncan chocolates I was going to say chocolats why was I going to I don't even know these are jelly donuts White Chocolate shell with layers of raspberry flavored cream and jelly filling I would totally try this on camera right now but I have my retainers in or my liners not my retainers I have my Liners in so I'm just oh God I want to try those but I'm very excited for those I'll tell you that I feel like it was definitely an amazing like snack Discovery okay in this bag you saw that I put in these adorable little four three leaf clover they have little Top Hat they also have these with a green top hat but the black just does it it just does it so I got three of those I don't know why three I was definitely thinking of them from a Garland perspective so that's why I got three but if not I can style them kind of like in Little areas around the kitchen then I found these and I love them they have this Bas see here so it'll stand so nicely um I definitely thought I I got I got as many as I could I didn't want to completely wipe out but I'm going to have to go to another Dollar Tree and maybe secure like maybe a total of nine of these so I need six more um and then I saw their beautiful little ribbon so adorable um and my St Patty's Day junk Journal kits I've never done a St Patty's Day theme I can't wait for you guys to see this collection I believe I'm going to be launching it at the end of this week so I think I'm launch launching them Sunday there's only going to be 25 that's it 25 of these kits so Sunday at 10:00 a.m. I think is when I'm going to release at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard time so I will remind you guys again on my Instagram so okay here are some of the cleaning products I don't know why but I I all of a sudden looked at these bags I was like I need those in my life seen them a million and one times at Dollar Tree but something about this particular style handle I thought I could definitely use with organ izing donation items I really want to be as organized when I'm doing my organ my donation piles as possible and I'm going to have just specific trash bags for that so I'm I'm suddenly excited about that if that makes sense then I picked up this item brand new I've never seen it's a shower cleaner heavy duty or heavy foam and it's got a wide area spray I do have a pretty large walk-in show hour um so we're going to give her a go have not even looked at the ingredients but we're going to give her go I picked up some baking soda this one in particular I'm going to use for my carpets and Runners I desperately need to do that I have not done that I've only been vacuuming them no I've got a pet I need to be deodorizing them um okay next up I got a dial this Dial soap but this orange bar in particular now I believe I talked about this once and I don't know why but it fell off my mind until I saw tick Tok about it again and a lady claimed that this was the ultimate secret to Glass skin no acne and as I was reading the comment section and just seeing other people's experience so many people were like yes this is true like this works and so even the the pump soap like the hand soap the orange dial apparently is what she uses but she said the bar of soap works as well I did see one comment where another person was like no it's the white bar of soap that's best but this is antibacterial so maybe that's that's why I don't know but I'm going to I'm going to use I'm going to use her okay next up I got the cleaning paste again this is the dupe to the pink paste I'm assuming um I've hauled this a bunch and I needed it again because the house that I'm living in and renting has like a farmhouse sink and I'm noticing that it just needs some TLC so we're going to try this out on that area then I found this this is new for me it's new now they had the allpurpose spray in this which I've hauled several times actually but the dishes is I've never seen so the other one says allpurpose and it's a spray clean this is like the peppermint Sage dish soap so they're both peppermint Sage um and can we just talk about this Farmhouse packaging cuz to me this is Farmhouse and I really love this so I wanted to just you know give it a try um then I did pick up the room sprays finally I really wanted to pick these up while I was in Houston or I don't know where I was but I was like you know so I got these by wizard and wizard is a brand that is at Dollar Tree um it's been at Dollar Tree for a long time they have like those uh plugins so I got soothing lavender and this one is relaxing and uplifting positive mood and then we've got the sunny Citrus one and this is mood bright brightener invigorating experience that's a bold claim to tell me my experience is going to be invigorating but okay then I got this room spray and I've been wanting to get this one right here for a minute um this is the true lavender I don't know I think it's also perfect size for traveling if you want to like spray your pillow just to help you know the sleep thing in Houston on my last night I had to switch Hotel so I was at the Weston Gallery in Houston and they actually but I think I it might be in the car but they put beside the bed a little thing of like a lavender roller that you could like apply to yourself that those were the directions I was just like oh my gosh no they didn't so hotels are I don't know they're they're doing it up now I guess but all right so that's that bag and we have one more final bag and in this one I hauled this container I actually wanted it with a black lid and they had the black lid but I couldn't get it up it was like the suction was holding it so I gave up and just grabbed the clear but I definitely got this to organize smaller items for underneath my sink so these little like like this I will be putting this in here probably have to go down like that okay for paste will go in here nicely and then the sprays I mean the sprays would have to kind of like lay down like this but that's really what is there anything in here for that that's really like what I was envisioning for this just to kind of like hold those smaller items so I got that um then I picked up the yellow I'm definitely going to be doing a lot of junk journaling in these bright colors just because of spring same p D's day sunshine just love yellow and I love these little treat bags they're great to junk journal with then I picked up this one you already know if you've watched my junk Journal lives you've seen me use these for Christmas time and they are just adorable I turn these into little paper clips and I thought this Kelly Green would be so cute for a St Patty's Day spread so I picked that up then I found this little sticker pack the crab doing it for me what is this over here what is that is that a seal okay seahorse jellyfish it's super cute it's probably not a seal is it all right then I picked up the erasers if you watch all my videos then you know what I'm doing with these but thought Micah might love these to style on her bookshelf with all her books little mushrooms so we'll see we'll see if she likes it you know so it's okay she doesn't um but that's that's where my
