make a decision on what Wheels I want to run the green S15 on I've had it now in bronze white mag blue and now black I don't hate it but I feel like I'm always just searching for something else with this car I really did love it on the three-piece wheels and just none of the model block colors are really cutting it with the green um so maybe I just need to put three piece of wheels on this car for drifting the spec that I had was a little bit aggressive because I don't like running any camber in the rear in fact we normally run like a positive half degree that way when the car squats and Drift We have an even contact patch and we don't get uh odd wear fun fact I didn't 4 30 a.m tomorrow but as soon as we get back from the delivery reveal I want to be able to go drive this thing at osw and I need to tow the front that way it's just ready to go so I'm going to do a quick toe plate get her online maybe do a couple test strips and then I go to bed I'm usually pretty good at tow planning cars but for whatever reason tonight this thing kicked my ass I want to go test it out and see how it feels we added a little bit more cast for the car so we have a little bit better self steer I don't think I have any footage really nice sliding at the compound and this thing's gonna look sick whenever glows also we have the Boost yeah we did another like 4 PSI she's a ripper um and the car it's so funny you put black wheels and it changes the car completely every set of wheels you put on this car completely changes the personality of the car low light also don't let the really good low light on this camera fool you about how dark it is outside you cannot see anything on the compound at night sketchy sketchy bows so good it's kind of late so I'm gonna try to do a quick one and done if you stand somewhere in that grass you should be fine all right well damn you don't realize how loud that thing is until it's night time well that was pretty cool so I think I figured out why this car's been kicking my ass alignment wise something with the tension rods or something up front is really loose because I noticed when I hit the brakes the steering wheel goes that's probably succinct of the story as I can because there's so many layers to it uh we had a pack in the dark Colette forgot her license so she wasn't able to get on the flight I wasn't able to get on the flight either because they wouldn't give me my boarding pass because it was less than 45 minutes before the flight now I normally get away with this but I guess because the flight was sold out they have the right to cancel flights so I kind of got screwed over there got another flight went through security realized I went through the wrong security terminal then went through the right security terminal got on the plane plane about to take off realized I was going to the wrong airport two hours away and rally uh from the place I was supposed to go to in Charlotte got off the plane started going crazy tried to book a flight couldn't book a flight so we tried to get back on the plane got back on the plane landed and it's just one of those days uh I missed a lot of stuff I've drove two hours from Raleigh to Charlotte I didn't go to the RTR lab like I was supposed to because I didn't have time and I'm going to the AutoZone reveal right now I'm excited and my spirits are high but it's it's one about this car so this is uh the rtrx yeah we built this in 2011. how old were you then uh I think I was like born okay so uh yeah we built this in 2011 and so this is basically a Mustang 69 Mustang but we have a complete front custom um front chassis on it basically Mark Morrison double a arm it's got a kind of steering angle it's got a coyote uh the concept of this car was to build a very classic Mustang but with a lot of modern in it so it's got motec fully fuel injected and uh yeah you'll feel it I could it looks like you were inspired by TJ Hun's uh Mustang build is that true is that that was your inspiration yes yeah yeah actually this is the Big Brother the Ken's unicorn that's cool to date it you know I mean I'm excited to drive it yeah that's what I thought yeah that's it I love that you put it on meister's yeah I use like a lot of some of my favorite things in like Japanese car culture American Car culture and European car culture just like meshed together in this this is like our first real big RTR project it really put us on the map this thing's sick am I gonna stall in front of everyone maybe just give it just give it some give it some good gas it sounds some cool s chassis things welcome to Vlog this I love this thing we really gotta slide my cream ah dude I should have drove the cream s13 today that would have been way too cool yeah just too too little time to prep it and I gotta shake down that practice yeah I know more drift week since I'm driving that car up at the E-Town event which you guys haven't got your tickets to yet they are available now I'll put a link in the description I need to shake it down at the track and make sure that it's good since uh the only real event I've done with this hyperfest and that's when I had a bad head gasket so the angle setup is new now in the car it feels a lot better engine should hopefully be a lot more Stout but I want to shake it down because I don't want to bring it all the way up to New Jersey and have a car follow me foreign not sure what we'll translate across video uh gearing I'm kind of a little bit stuck between second and third and then uh the front angle set up for whatever reason it kind of hooks and grabs that big lock it makes it feel like it wants to spin so I'm just gonna have to drive a little bit more conservatively I've tried loosening up the front end by adding some pressure playing around with the shock lowering some pressure in the rear um so we'll see if that makes any difference foreign foreign so there's a couple different solutions uh to fix what's going on right now uh the easiest one would be to change rear diff ratio which I was freaking out about because I need to technically go back to r200 I want to run third but to lower the speed enough I need to go like a 408 which is not for an easy def thankfully Jing has a z diff so that's the bigger picture plan is to do that and then run third I just figured out not a lot of people I think have run SRS to n54 trans so I'm kind of the guinea pig and figuring out what works the best but in the meantime I actually asked tuner gym to take out some boosts oh yeah he's uh he's blowing his tires off on the 60 foot I know yeah you can't just parks with all of that thing what I am but uh I'm hoping I had them pull boost out up top so I still have it on the hit so hopefully I can still keep the wheels lit in third after the transition but in second I'm not just like everyone you ready Drive ready Booth yep yeah Hey where's your body panels not here you heard it here oh nice so you guys can stop ripping on him in the comments they're ripping on them pretty bad oh yeah okay oh showing your car so oh I get your oh Sean sounds better than this thing oh foreign foreign foreign Jimmy I didn't even get that so I'm actually really stoked with how the car is running because of the fact that I'm just sitting at the mirror the whole time the fact that the car's staying cool is huge I was a little bit nervous about the whole engine set up in the car so that feels great it's kind of cool because the resolution is really good since I'm driving a car between seven and eight thousand RPM um unlike a linear Power Band it's actually just like you know what's opposite of linear it's really parabolic yeah definitely some angle stuff to dial in with a car but it feels the best that it ever has so I'm stoked about that tires are lasting get the job done I think I need to put a stiffer pressure plate on it though because I'm feeling a little slipping at times yeah so that's that's the one thing I'm kind of struggling with that's why I want to go 2-3 I notice I have the same issue in my n54 car my 335 yeah if you like try to really like destroy first to second gear yeah it doesn't want to shift I feel like it's a balance between like one to do tens and two like uh the Zia trans or get tracks whatever the same thing like or the same type of thing um the arm for the lockout for reverse oh you get stuck in it you get stuck in it trying to go to seconds you'll push away to go in the second and it puts it in the in like the lockout yeah I was thinking about trying to lock it out but part of it is just if I can if I short shift it it's good but if I shift to yeah it doesn't like yeah yeah what if it's spinning is it easier to ship when it's spinning no it's harder when it's finished yeah if the car is traction it's fine but if there's wheel spin that's when it gets back because it loads and then unloads in the ship but when it's like fully unloaded the whole time it should be easier it's spinning because it's kind of unloaded to an excuse who knows you would think do a thing you would think not us though but I'm thinking about doing FDF on the S15 I currently just have like a knuckle extend lower setup but it's feeling kind of funky and Sean's been really happy with FDF on his S15 so I'm gonna go take that for rip he's gonna drive this see what he thinks of it and uh yeah we'll check back in soon and let you guys know what I think foreign it's rad though he gets down you gotta really drive it on the pipe I had a blast driving the green S15 and you know the f80 that's so tired interior is sick BMW gets mad credit for still making manual sports car I love that for me sound I always hate on like newer BMWs because they sound bad from the outside but from the inside like it sounds pretty cool I don't really have a lot of complaints I know a lot of that's like artificial engine noise but I don't mind it go back to sleep goodbye all right guys here's your little update I forgot my camera and it's kind of a long story had a rough night went back to the house lost power on the way back to the house didn't have power through the morning I'm just gonna give you guys as like succinct of the story as I can because there's so many layers to it uh we had a pack in the dark Colette forgot her license so she wasn't able to get on the flight I wasn't able to get on the flight either because they wouldn't give me my boarding pass because it was less than 45 minutes before the flight now I normally get away with this but I guess because the flight was sold out they have the right to cancel flights so I kind of got screwed over there got another flight went through security realized I went through the wrong security terminal then went through the right security terminal got on the plane plane about to take off realized I was going to the wrong airport two hours away and rally uh from the place I was supposed to go to in Charlotte got off the plane started going crazy tried to book a flight couldn't book a flight so we tried to get back on the plane got back on the plane landed and it's just one of those days uh I missed a lot of stuff I've drove two hours from Raleigh to Charlotte I didn't go to the RTR lab like I was supposed to because I didn't have time and I'm going to the AutoZone reveal right now I'm excited and my spirits are high but it's it's one of those days where you just kind of gotta laugh it off you know I saw someone comment on my uh one of my posts something it was a saying it was like you know the dog poops just waiting for you to step in it today that's how I feel back to driving I wound up stopping by the lab super quick what do we got going on here totally quick tell me quick real quick this is our Mustang RTR spec 2 LZ Edition that we are giving out as a part of our partnership we got two giveaways this year this is the first one it's full spec two and we even upgraded with the RTR coilovers because I know you want your friends Kit full suspension adjustable sway bars and a whole lot of fun so this is the first look at the car that we're going to be doing the giveaway with this year this giveaway is going to be via an AutoZone sweepstakes I'm super excited for it the first time I've gotten to see the car pretty cool I needed to stop by the lab real quick yeah burning out I think one dude got arrested someone got in trouble yeah they were it was not worth it yeah you gotta chill but it was cool I did enjoy doing all the noises and made my day so it was so is this a tube chassis I don't know anything about this car so this is uh the rtrx yeah we built this in 2011. how old were you then uh I think I was like born okay so uh yeah we built this in 2011 and so this is basically a Mustang 69 Mustang but we have a complete front custom um front chassis on it basically Mark Morrison double a arm it's got a kind of steering angle it's got a coyote uh the concept of this car was to build a very classic Mustang but with a lot of modern in it so it's got motec fully fuel injected and uh yeah you'll feel it I could it looks like you were inspired by TJ Hun's uh Mustang build is that true is that that was your inspiration yes yeah yeah actually this is the Big Brother the Ken's unicorn that's cool to date it you know I mean I'm excited to drive it yeah that's what I thought yeah that's it I love that you put it on meister's yeah I use like a lot of some of my favorite things in like Japanese car culture American Car culture and European car culture just like meshed together in this this is like our first real big RTR project it really put us on the map this thing's sick am I gonna stall in front of everyone maybe just give it just give it some give it some good gas it sounds like oh yeah yeah it's got the real like yeah this is a coyote yeah so why does it sound high pitch why is it what why doesn't it sound like because the exhaust instead of a z today so we could do some cool s chassis things welcome to Vlog this I love this thing we really gotta slide my cream ah dude I should have drove the cream s13 today that would have been way too cool yeah just too too little time to prep it and I gotta shake down that practice yeah I know more drift week since I'm driving that car up at the E-Town event which you guys haven't got your tickets to yet they are available now I'll put a link in the description I need to shake it down at the track and make sure that it's good since uh the only real event I've done with this hyperfest and that's when I had a bad head gasket so the angle setup is new now in the car it feels a lot better engine should hopefully be a lot more Stout but I want to shake it down because I don't want to bring it all the way up to New Jersey and have a car follow me foreign not sure what we'll translate across video uh gearing I'm kind of a little bit stuck between second and third and then uh the front angle set up for whatever reason it kind of hooks and grabs that big lock it makes it feel like it wants to spin so I'm just gonna have to drive a little bit more conservatively I've tried loosening up the front end by adding some pressure playing around with the shock lowering some pressure in the rear um so we'll see if that makes any difference foreign foreign so there's a couple different solutions uh to fix what's going on right now uh the easiest one would be to change rear diff ratio which I was freaking out about because I need to technically go back to r200 I want to run third but to lower the speed enough I need to go like a 408 which is not for an easy def thankfully Jing has a z diff so that's the bigger picture plan is to do that and then run third I just figured out not a lot of people I think have run SRS to n54 trans so I'm kind of the guinea pig and figuring out what works the best but in the meantime I actually asked tuner gym to take out some boosts oh yeah he's uh he's blowing his tires off on the 60 foot I know yeah you can't just parks with all of that thing what I am but uh I'm hoping I had them pull boost out up top so I still have it on the hit so hopefully I can still keep the wheels lit in third after the transition but in second I'm not just like everyone you ready Drive ready Booth yep yeah Hey where's your body panels not here you heard it here oh nice so you guys can stop ripping on him in the comments they're ripping on them pretty bad oh yeah okay oh showing your car so oh I get your oh Sean sounds better than this thing oh foreign foreign foreign Jimmy I didn't even get that so I'm actually really stoked with how the car is running because of the fact that I'm just sitting at the mirror the whole time the fact that the car's staying cool is huge I was a little bit nervous about the whole engine set up in the car so that feels great it's kind of cool because the resolution is really good since I'm driving a car between seven and eight thousand RPM um unlike a linear Power Band it's actually just like you know what's opposite of linear it's really parabolic yeah definitely some angle stuff to dial in with a car but it feels the best that it ever has so I'm stoked about that tires are lasting get the job done I think I need to put a stiffer pressure plate on it though because I'm feeling a little slipping at times yeah so that's that's the one thing I'm kind of struggling with that's why I want to go 2-3 I notice I have the same issue in my n54 car my 335 yeah if you like try to really like destroy first to second gear yeah it doesn't want to shift I feel like it's a balance between like one to do tens and two like uh the Zia trans or get tracks whatever the same thing like or the same type of thing um the arm for the lockout for reverse oh you get stuck in it you get stuck in it trying to go to seconds you'll push away to go in the second and it puts it in the in like the lockout yeah I was thinking about trying to lock it out but part of it is just if I can if I short shift it it's good but if I shift to yeah it doesn't like yeah yeah what if it's spinning is it easier to ship when it's spinning no it's harder when it's finished yeah if the car is traction it's fine but if there's wheel spin that's when it gets back because it loads and then unloads in the ship but when it's like fully unloaded the whole time it should be easier it's spinning because it's kind of unloaded to an excuse who knows you would think do a thing you would think not us though but I'm thinking about doing FDF on the S15 I currently just have like a knuckle extend lower setup but it's feeling kind of funky and Sean's been really happy with FDF on his S15 so I'm gonna go take that for rip he's gonna drive this see what he thinks of it and uh yeah we'll check back in soon and let you guys know what I think foreign it's rad though he gets down you gotta really drive it on the pipe I had a blast driving the green S15 it was fun to finally turn some laps in this car without many issues now I have a game plan going into the next event so some stuff I want to change with gearing and angle and I can continue to dial this car in more and hopefully get it to the point where it's as fun and as reliable as the cream s13 since that was the original goal with this thing and I'm getting
