**The Great Phone Case Challenge**
In this unique experiment, we put various everyday objects to the test as phone cases for an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. The goal was to see which one would provide the best protection against drops and other forms of impact.
First up was a pineapple. Not exactly the most conventional choice for a phone case, but let's see how it fares. So, I'm going to attempt to use this as a phone case... yeah it doesn't turn on, that is quite an impact yeah it doesn't turn on but that is not make a very good case so so far looks like a brick is a better choice than a pineapple but at least I got so much good remains to go ahead and chew on so that's a fail for this one. Next up here is my zip tie creation don't let the looks fool you I mean there's a lot of tension in this case so I think the tension alone will help preserve the display but perfectly functional it's a little sharp you could probably cut yourself on it but everybody needs to grow up alright so let's drop this guy see how zip ties fare protecting an iPhone 6's all right zip tie case dropping in three two one. Wow looks like it's pretty damn effective so did land a little bit right here a couple of these snapped but they're easily replaceable maybe you got a case so that was a really cheap case not as cheap as a pineapple but definitely more effective the phone is flawless protected on almost all sides well done this is definitely a success.
Duct Tape: The Ultimate DIY Case
What if you use duct tape your phone no one will ever know you're even using it. So, I decided to try out a duct tape case. This is something everybody has around their house what if you use duct tape your phone no one will ever know you're even using a success so no one will ever try and rob you of that either not that. Reinforce the corners you know I'm very curious 50 feet can just absorb shock well let's find out and this is a success as well poor guys but hey if it works it works iPhone a 6s duct tape case dropping in three two one. Wow while so we landed exactly on the bottom where I wanted it to otherwise the display looks unharmed brilliant so if you guys want a case but I want to spend money just duct tape a nice little padded case for you you can handle 50-foot falls easily yeah I meant on just in the middle of the video or nah dude come on no we'll be done in maybe like 30 minutes okay all right.
How About Cheese?
Everybody has one of these in the refrigerator let's see if the cheddar can protect your phone and if you're hungry you could take a bite out of it too. So, I'm going to build a case using a block of cheese... there's no phone inside anymore but is it working ho screens coming out just a little bit yeah so it did absorb the shock a little bit better though than maybe brick so I think I'd recommend this over a brick and just pop it back in and you're good to go.
The Nokia 3310: The Ultimate Phone Case
I wondered what on planet earth is more durable than the element and Nokia 3310 iums. So, I went ahead and built a case out of Nokia 3310 models and it serves double purposes for one it'll protect your success like no other case will on this planet - you can have calls for many different people if you run out of battery on this one these lasts for well over two weeks so go ahead and text do whatever you want using these phones but know that your phone inside is protected and I will survive the nuclear apocalypse. So, let's go ahead and drop and see how it handles Nokia 3310 iPhone 6s got good reception - all right dropping in three two one. So all over the place is it working though oh it still works but they're all over the place okay so let me try and pick these up I don't even know where the phone is Oh so here's the mountain of wreckage after that drop let's see if the success survived. Oh boy and it did no cracks a little scuff right here and right here but the phone is alive it is working and now you have a permanent Nokia 3310 on the back so awesome it even conforms to your hand that's really really nice let's see out of these which ones are working still so this one lights up nothing on the display though this one is perfectly working so it is falling apart a little two survivors another survivor awesome and the last one it is working but the display is broken so every phone survived these two just don't the displays don't work they need replacing I'm very surprised so Nokia 3310 did fall apart but the phone is alive isn't it. So, guys that's just about it thanks so much for watching I just wanted to do something a little bit different you know making cases probably isn't a really good idea I do hope this experiment has been entertaining and informative.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys everything awful Pro here and today I'm here at my favorite filming location for drop tests with cases well talking about cases I was wondering using regular household items how many cases could you make and how durable are they so let's say you just got a brand new iPhone 6s and you're worried about breaking it before your case arrives in the mail well using some household items let's go ahead and see which ones would make for the best cases and how durable they are when dropped from 50 feet so I've got some really interesting ones that I know you guys will love so let's go ahead and test these guys out see how durable they are don't mind me just gonna use my pineapple case alright so let's go ahead and do this now I know I know guys the color is just a little bit too red but otherwise just makes for a fantastic case all the cutouts for your button perfectly flush extremely durable case let's see how it does on this 50 foot drop and I've got a little platform set up so I don't damage this cement underneath but not about a case at all really let's go ahead and test it alright so iPhone 6s in this beautiful brick case by the way I'm going to start selling them soon $45 blah derelict a okay I'm going to try to land it on the thing okay so how brick is in shambles but the phone oh it just has a small hairline crack right there so otherwise besides that the phone was surprisingly alive and perfectly usable so there is a lot of scuffing going on up here and not bad really for a 50-foot fall from a brick this does a lot better than most cases I've tested it so this is probably the cheapest case we were able to produce now it's big its durable and you can eat it after in case you're hungry what's not to like so we've got our 6s loaded in here nice and flush design nobody will ever want to rob you because who wants to steal from a man with a pineapple all right test it out all right pineapple test here we go 50 feet and three two one all right so a little juicy nice pineapple snack for you but the phone itself did not survive so ouch that is quite an impact yeah it doesn't turn on but that is not make a very good case so so far looks like a brick is a better choice than a pineapple but at least I got so much good remains to go ahead and chew on so that's a fail for this one next up here is my zip tie creation
