Hello and Welcome Back to My Channel

As I'm recording this video today, I hope you're all having a fantastic day. It's December 23rd, which is the day that Hayden and I typically do Christmas on the 24th and 25th. However, we like to do Christmas just between the two of us on the 23rd or 26th, depending on the year. This has become something I've been looking forward to more and more with each passing year.

My favorite part of Christmas is simply hanging out with Hayden and our cats and dogs at home. It's a lovely way to spend time together without the chaos that comes with having family over. As you'll see, this video is just me and Hayden doing our Christmas thing this year. We started off by having some ramen at home. Hayden made us fancy ramen from our HelloFresh box, which was absolutely delicious. We then got some Krispy Kreme donuts to enjoy, which were also a great treat.

After that, we looked at Christmas lights around the neighborhood, which always puts me in a festive mood. Finally, we unwrapped gifts together, which was so much fun. I love buying gifts for Hayden because he's an easy person to shop for – he doesn't buy many things for himself throughout the year, so it's always a pleasure to surprise him with something new.

In one of my previous vlogs, I mentioned that I wouldn't be apologizing as much about the quality of these daily videos. However, I did want to make an exception today since it's a special day for me. The other vlogs that are coming up in the remaining days of Chandes will still be just me doing audio recordings over time-lapse videos. But I hope you'll understand that this one was worth making an exception for.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been supporting me over the past few weeks. Making videos can be stressful, especially when it comes to responding to comments and seeing your comments roll in every day. However, it's made me incredibly happy to see all of you coming back each day, and I feel so grateful for that.

I want to express my happiness at having such incredible subscribers right now. I'm doing a video where I'll be reading out my followers' favorite books from 2021, and I have to say, I just feel so close to all of you as I'm going through these recommendations. There's only one dud in the bunch so far – it was a Taylor Jenkins Read, which I didn't particularly enjoy. However, every other book that you recommended me has been fantastic, and they've really brightened up my day as I read them.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your amazing recommendations. It's truly made a difference in my reading experience this year, and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful followers who know exactly what I like. I'll be back soon with updates on books, and after that, I think there might be some other exciting content coming your way – including Punk57dbc.

it was a taylor jenkins read which if you know you know i did not like those books but literally every other book that y'all have recommended me has been just fantastic it's been a four or five star
